My job recently relocated to Millbrae, and I was fortunate enough to find this sandwich spot just a stone's throw away from my new office. The location is clean and welcoming, and the staff has always been friendly and attentive. During my last visit, I had the pleasure of meeting Justin, a knowledgeable and friendly employee who was more than happy to recommend some delicious sandwich options. My friend was equally impressed with the business's operations and the exceptional service provided by Justin. The sandwich shop offers a variety of fresh bread options, including flatbread, and a wide selection of sandwich fillings. We tried Sourdough a few times and the sandwiches are always consistently fresh and delicious. Bread is soft and fresh and the smoked brisket (and pastrami) melts in your mouth. I got the cream potato soup which comes with some sourdough. We got a cup and they upgraded us to a bowl! The soup was really hot but the sourdough was pretty good. I would say it is more on the pricey side. My total was 23 dollars for two soups and a drink. The place is pretty clean and the owner was really nice. There is also a bathroom if needed. We went on a Wednesday at 4 and no one was there. We also got a free cookie which was really nice of them! Next time i will try a sandwich! read more

Awful service and possible food contamination. I went to pick up an online order around the lunch hour. When I first arrived a few minutes early to my pick-up time, I was told that my order was still being made. It ends up taking ONE HOUR to get my order of a few flatbreads and soup. I did not get even an apology nor acknowledgement. The only "service" I received was a sarcastic comment asking if I want a cookie to make up for the wait when I went to ask on much longer I must wait. My stomach felt uncomfortable after eating it too. Place is both rude and unsanitary. Unless you want to waste your whole afternoon here, best go somewhere else. read more

Stopped by the brand new location in Millbrae at the Gateway at Millbrae Station and had a very pleasant experience. The space is bright and welcoming and the staff is friendly. The space was clean and organized. It was quite busy during the lunch hour but the food was brought out very quickly. Service was great and staff were really friendly. I ordered a small Chicken Caesar salad and it came with a side of fresh sourdough that was warm, soft and slightly crispy on the outside. The food was good. Turkey on sourdough. Excellent. The soup was really good. The service was rather slow. We stopped in on a Saturday. It didnt appear to be too busy, but we soon realized all 5 people were still waiting for their order. We got 2 sandwiches and they didnt come out together. I just visited the Sourdough & Co. In Millbrae on N. Rollins. I chose the warm beef brisket sandwich. I am a foodie so I have to say it was the best sandwich I have ever had!!!!! From the warm/fresh sourdough bread to the tangy coleslaw dressing, not to mention the melt in your mouth brisket. Deep and Nate were very welcoming and funny to talk to. They are easy to get to and will be my favorite go to shop when I am looking for a fantastic, tasty, filling meal!!!!! read more

When in SF you have to come here regardless of if you are tourist or a local. They are super popular for their sourdough breads. Tons of options to choose as far as characters goes but you need to go there early. They also have awesome sandwiches there too. Service is always good and quick. They have tons staff working here so they are busy. The ambiance inside is nice. Big place and room for you to sit down and eat read more

We are here Saturday with my 2 daughters and one grandson. Staff are pretty nice, and I believe his name is Robin, well i can described him as friendly, polite, and efficient. Went there and try the clam chowder with bread. The service is good. The clam chowder is decent but could have a bit more clams it mostly are potatoes. The bread is really good crispy on the outside and soft inside. I would give 4 and half stars for the price and 5 if the chowder could have a bit more clams instead of potatoes. read more

Nasty employee with bad attitude and no clue to the meaning of customer service. Will never step a foot in there again. . Tasteless sandwiches and a dirty place. NO THANK YOU. You can't open a business and just expect people to walk in and treat them in a nasty way. Specially when you're charging sky rocket prices. An $8.00 very small cup of soup probably not even 6 ounces. Are you freaking serious? I would rather support smaller local businesses. Amazing service, clean restaurant, solid sandwiches, and perfectly warmed, fresh sourdough bread. I rarely get through Boudins bread bowl because of how chewy it is but I did this time. Bonus: the owner overheard it was my son's birthday and went above and beyond to deliver us free cookies and bottled water. Horrible went Sunday around 2pm and it was a horror show walked up to the line was not even greeted employees looked angry and a mess just stood there for 10 minutes no help no acknowledgment behind counter was disgusting food everywhere the employees looked dirty and their was a bread bowl sitting there ever since I arrived a customer was complaining for that same bowl and the employee brings it to his family's table and they say it's cold the employee she was a girl takes it behind the counter pours it in a bowl microwaves it and pours it back in the bread bowl and gives it to the customer without there knowledge what just unfolded not only being utterly disgusting but unsanitary! Those employees all should be terminated at once health department should investigate these practices. I walked out and will never return this happen 01/25/26 at 2pm at the Millbrae location. Horrible! read more

For some reason I was in the mood for crepes this morning and I looked to see what the offerings…read morewere and Crepevine stuck out because I've never been to one and have never seen such an eclectic selection of crepes. So, coming here, first off, ALL the people who work here are wonderful. Very kind, professional, helpful and they act like they want to be here. I was helped quite a bit by Yesenia, and she was amazing, took great care of me! So kudos to management for what seems to be that, in turn, they take good care of their staff. It was a fairly long line to order and, at first, I sorta wished they had table service instead -- but it ended up moving fairly quickly and was very easy to order. They give you a number and you choose your own table, either inside or outside. On a Saturday morning, although it was busy, there were plenty of tables. My coffee came right away and it is good coffee. And I was told its Crepevine's own branded coffee, organic blend. My Thai crepe came not too long after. It usually comes with both peanut sauce and pesto. But I don't like pesto (and what does that have to do with Thai anyway?) so I asked for it to be prepared with just the peanut sauce. Unfortunately, that got lost and what I was served came with no sauces at all in the crepe. They were happy to take it back and have it re-done and it came out and a short time later with the peanut sauce inside ... and was nice and hot -- and delicious! The side salad that comes with the crepe usually has balsamic vinaigrette but I noticed that one of the menu items is a Thai Salad so, in keeping with the theme, I asked if they could put the dressing for that salad on my side salad and they said no problem, and it was very good -- a lemongrass dressing. The home potatoes were decent although I like mine well done with crispy edges, which these weren't, so I'd probably ask for that next time. And, btw, the value for the money is really good -- they give you A LOT of food! I actually couldn't finish everything on the plate. That all said, I don't think I'll come here on a regular basis, don't live nearby, but I'll definitely come back again, maybe when I have a guest in town -- it was a good meal at a good price and with excellent service and atmosphere, and the few minor problems I had were solved very quickly and efficiently, so 5 stars well deserved.

The other disappointment was the server/restaurant couldn't even bring themselves to just comp us one extra cone seeing there were seven of us. Sourdough never misses. The bread is perfectly toasted with that crispy outside and soft inside, and the Buffalo Chicken Ranch is straight fire. The buffalo sauce has the right amount of heat, the chicken is juicy, and the ranch cools it down perfectly so it's not overpowering. Everything blends together crazy well. I dine in few nights ago with my family and the food is amazing and freshly made. Shoutout to Robin who helped me with my orders, he answered all my questions thoroughly and with patience. I got a smoked brisket sandwich, I was gonna get a cup of clam chowder by itself but he told me that I would save money by getting it as a meal and I would have a drink on top of it.
