The Harvest Blend pizza was delicious. I honestly wasn't expecting to like it as much as I did, but the butternut squash, caramelized onions, spinach, and cheese all worked so well together. The balsamic drizzle on top really tied everything together and made it even better. The Tequila Lime Chicken was also good, but the pizza definitely stood out more and was the highlight for me. Very spacious place with both indoor and outdoor seating. There's also counter seating by the bar area. I'd like to preface this review by saying that I've ordered pizzas from here in the past to go and it was underwhelming to me. The crust seems too hard and it was just ok. However after eating these pizzas at the restaurant in person, fresh out of the oven made such a huge difference. Service was very good. We ordered a small wild mushroom pizza with thin crust and a small sausage hot honey arugula pizza in deep crust style. Both were good but the one that really stood out for me was the wild mushroom pizza. Thin crust with the perfect amount of cheese pull with a hint of truffle oil. Came post Xmas with the family to relax and have some pizza. We tried the mushroom thin crust, pear/arugula thin crust, and a hot honey deep dish, as well as a cheese pizza for the kids. We arrived right at opening and only had one party ahead seated and already eating. There seemed to be only two servers and the food took quite a long time to arrive as more guests came in and took seats inside (we sat on the patio due to our party size of 13). We noticed other tables getting their single pizzas before our table - and didn't get water refilled until we asked. When the pizzas arrived after about 35-40 min, they did come all together so perhaps it was just timing of a big order. The best was the mushroom pizza - if you love mushrooms, you have to try it as thin crust!! The hot honey deep dish lost nearly all the hot and honey flavor due to the abundance of tomato so that might just be better as thin crust. The pear/arugula was unique but a bit sweet for my taste for pizza. My husband and I actually had our rehearsal dinner here 10 years ago so we had high expectations for the pizza (which delivered) but we just had a subpar serving experience. Was craving both deep dish and thin crust pizza so decided to check out Blue Line in Burlingame. Came on a Saturday night at 8 pm. Upon entering my fiancé and I were handed menus and told to sit wherever we would like. We got water right away but weren't serviced until 15 minutes in, with the place not being that busy. We decided to put our whole order in (drinks, appetizers, pizza) and they all came out at a decent time in order. The second drink and bill took really long to get. They definitely seemed short staffed, but did their best. Old Fashion - 4/5 - Nice pour, mildly sweet Spicy chicken wings - 3/5 - more like seasoned wings than spicy. They are plump and juicy, just expected them to have some spiciness to it. Chicago Chopped (deep dish) - 5/5 - The red tomato sauce had so much flavor! It had just enough cheese and a good amount of meat, giving space to enjoy each element of a deep dish. The crust was warm and crunchy, really tasting the cornmeal flavor which did cut through the saltiness of the toppings. The cornmeal crust is different but they execute it well in a deep dish. Cheese pull goes crazy. Bees & the Bird (thin crust) - 2.5/5 - The topping combination is unique and goes together in a sophisticated way with bacon, honey, white sauce, chicken, grilled onions, and a honey drizzle on white sauce. The concept of this in a thin crust slice sounds amazing but the cornmeal crust felt a little too brittle/thick and crunchy opposed to blending with the toppings. Back at it again for another meal at Blue Line Pizza Burlingame. We wanted to watch part of the warriors game, so we grabbed a couple seats at the bar and grabbed some appetizers and a couple of beers. I've talked about the 'black & blue' salad to my partner for months, and of course it was delicious as always. The half size is $10 and honestly good enough for a meal on its own for one person. The blue cheese and bacon, plus the dressing, so darn good. We also got the wings and an order of the spinach artichoke dip. The wings were surprisingly spicy, which we enjoyed. They could've been just a tad bit crispier but overall solid wings. The spinach and artichoke dip was alright though. It comes out piping hot and the cheese crust on top was the best part. The dip itself was creamy but kinda lacked in flavor. IMO it's missing a kick of spice. Overall, still a solid location in the Burlingame area. Came here for weekday lunch and had a good experience. The menu has a lot of options and ordering is easy. I like how many different crust options you can choose from. Relative to the surrounding areas, this place offers really good American restaurant style pizzas. The other restaurants are mostly Italian and the toppings aren't as bountiful. Blue Line food is delicious. Ambiance is mostly dark and bar-ish, but it's clean and there's nice window lighting at the front and back. The food was ready in about 15 minutes or less after ordering which was great. We ordered a Caesar salad and a create your own pizza on thin crust. The salad was delicious and I order Caesar's a lot so this was a top five for me. The pizza was also super yummy and the crust was perfect. I do feel like the price per topping was a little expensive, as I only picked 3 and ended up spending more than if I had gotten a specialty pizza. Our waitress was friendly but I do feel like once we got the food we weren't checked on for a while. By the time she did come back I was ready for my box and bill. The tequila lime crema with marinated pork is everything... and grandma style crust just puts it all over the top. Thick but not too thick, chewy but not too chewy, square pie so all the toppings go right up to the edge. Crust was delicious with a crispy bottom, like it has a little seasoned cornmeal. Only thing that keeps this from being 5 stars is the steep price tag of almost $40 with tax included. The large feeds 3 in my opinion as we had nothing as leftovers. I am not a fan of deep dish but the wife is. The nice thing about here is that they have both, along with white and red pies. Service is almost always great and quick. Lately, we just take it to go but when we've been there it's always good. I have other friends that go there at least once every couple of weeks. The two of us ordered one small BBQ chicken deep dish pizza and one small cheese deep dish pizza. We only finished about half of each pizza, but we wanted variety. I slightly prefer the thin crust version of the BBQ chicken pizza to the deep dish version. I also quite like the deep dish cheese pizza. First time having deep dish pizza in the bay area and it did not disappoint! I came here with a friend for a mid-afternoon meal (lunner?) which worked out perfectly because 1) there were very few people in the restaurant aka no wait plus we got to sit out on the back patio and 2) they serve individual size pizzas until 4pm. We each got our own individual size pizza, and I opted for their hot honey, sausage & arugula pizza because I love anything with hot honey! The pizza was delicious and super flavorful with the sausage and hot honey, but the only gripe I have is that there was quite a bit of liquid that somehow seeped out which made the crust kind of soggy in some places... Nonetheless I still enjoyed it overall and even ended up with some leftovers that heated up nicely in the air fryer! Would definitely come again to try some of their other pizzas :) read more

The place was empty when we came for lunch at noon on Monday. We ordered a large deep dish, half BBQ Chicken Pizza and half Hot Honey, Sausage, and Arugula for the 4 of us to share. The deep dish pizzas take 30minutes but we knew that and were prepared to wait. The pizza came out hot and crispy and perfect for sharing among 4 since it had 8 slices total (4/flavor). Two slices each made us comfortably full but we decided to order another small thin crust because why not? We ordered the Tipsy Pig on thin crust because we weren't super hungry anymore and didn't want to wait another 30 minutes. This was my first time having their thin crust and it was good, pretty normal. The tipsy pig was delicious and their bbq chicken is always a good option but the hot honey, sausage, and arugula pizza won it for me this time. This was a quaint pizzeria with plenty of outdoor seating. We came here for the cauliflower crust to try it after my son was raving about it. I normally do not like thin crust which at places often taste like a cracker! But this crust was very good. It did not taste like cauliflower at all and it was a crispy golden crust and substantial enough to hold up and actually be a pizza crust! My son told me the Blue Line special pizza was the best with the cauliflower crust bc of the fresh vegetables it has. I wanted to try truffle oil with mushrooms though. I will be coming back to try the others though! The Caesar salad was very hearty and one salad fed all 5 of us! It was huge and the citrus dressing which we requested sounded good so we wanted to try it. Delicious dressing- I could just eat that dressing it was that good-fresh and light! The croutons were some of the best I ever had which I never thought I would even comment on croutons! Now the deep dish was also good, but the only thing I did not like about this one was smothered with tomato sauce and like crushed tomatoes. Many deep dishes come like this so it must be a deep dish thing, but less is more imho. I don't want to drown out the other ingredients and just eat and taste tomatoes! I think it is bc this pizza doesn't have a base layer on the bottom of sauce and it is just all on the top covering everything. The tomatoes just overwhelmed this pizza. I love tomatoes too especially fresh from my garden, but not so heavy on my pizza. It was decent otherwise and next time I will just ask to not put as much tomatoes and sauce on top, so I can actually taste the rest of the pizza. The staff was great and friendly. I typically love Blue Line's deep dish pizza since this is a chain but for some reason my visit to this specific location was disappointing. To start instead of seeing us to our table, the host handed us two menus then told us to go out to the patio to the only open table instead of walking us to our table. I would understand if the restaurant was busy but the inside of the restaurant was basically empty... first flag. My husband and I ordered our typical custom deep dish with sausage and roasted garlic. The pizza came out with a ton of huge whole pieces of garlic that was overwhelming I ended up picking a lot of the pieces off. There was definitely a very uneven ratio of sausage to garlic and the pizza felt like it wasn't baked properly. The whole pizza felt like it was just half heartedly thrown together. Sad because again I really do usually love blue line but next time I'll be going to the San Carlos location instead. read more

There was 2 other tables with customers but the restaurant kinda looked dead with only the bartender was present. The server told us to order by scanning the QR code on the table. We ordered Large Brass Monkey deep dish pizza for 3 adults. I wasn't sure about the ordering via the app so I asked the bartender if my order got in to their system yet and he said yes. Our pizza came out about 20minutes after I ordered (despite 30 mins notice when I ordered on the app). Their deep dish pizza was quite big. However, each slice wasn't as deep as I've had from other restaurants. The unique part was actually the corn meal crust. The bottom crust stayed crisp with lots of sauce on top of it. The tomato sauce was good. Good amount of topping items and good stringy cheese. We were all enjoyed the pizza so much! We put honey at the end crust and the combo was as good as eating a corn bread. The restaurant is located on a busy Milbrae street. There are some parking lots around but it was very busy on the weekend. We will definitely come back to try different menu. read more

The food came out pretty fast, everything was hot, and smelled delicious! The wings were nice and crispy and the sauce had great flavor. Both of the pies were so so good. The Blue Line was packed with flavor from the combination of the veggies and their feta and ricotta spinach blend. The White Pie was fresh with the zucchini and tomatoes, and a nice touch of garlic olive oil. Four of us split the meal and were all stuffed, with a couple of pieces left over to take home.
