We ordered pizza to go at Pizza My Heart because we stayed in Burlingame. It was spacious inside, and the ambiance was welcoming. We ordered the Big Sur Pizza in 14". ($32). The Big Sur pizza had 40 Cloves of Roasted Garlic, Organic Tomato Pizza Sauce, Pepperoni, Sausage, Portobello Mushrooms, & Green Onions. Their pizza was not cheap, but they were generous with the ingredients. I liked their pizza, but my hubby and daughters thought it was mediocre because they prefer a thick crust instead of a thin crust. Fast and friendly service.

Pizza My Heart in Burlingame is my go-to spot for a quick and delicious slice! The crust is perfectly crisp, the toppings are always fresh, and the staff is friendly. I love their Watsonville Apple and Pepperoni

Cheesy Breadstix

Service is always laid back and chill, which I like. The breadstix are the main reason to go. The dough is delicious and with the cheese... MMMMM yeah. The pizza is usually just okay, nothing terribly spectacular. But the slice does curb a craving.

Great pizza. Got the deluxe pizza as chicken and bacon sounded good. The pizza was flavorful with the white sauce. Got the large pizza and perfect for sharing for a game day. The 18in pizza is giant and a little pricey but the pizza is definitely fancier than your dominos or Costco pizza. The service was quick and friendly. You can also custom order the pizza. The pizza was hot as it just came out of the oven

Pizza My Heart in Burlingame never disappoints! Whether we're grabbing a quick slice or ordering a whole pie, it's always fast, fresh, and delicious. The crust is perfect, the toppings are generous, and everything tastes like it was just made with care. The staff here are always super friendly and efficient. They keep the line moving during busy times and still manage to greet everyone with a smile. It's one of those places where you feel welcome the second you walk in. Great pizza, great people, and great vibes--what more could you want? Easily one of our go-to spots in Burlingame.

I always see their locations and wanted to try it. I ended up swinging by because I had to get a haircut. To me pizza is pizza, but I can appreciate a good slice. I entered and it was kinda busy because there was an dinner for a youth sports team. Even if it was busy, the staff were super attentive and patient. I ended up getting the pesto and a pepperoni/sausage pizza. The pizza came out pretty quick and it was good. I appreciate that their crusts were crispy. I like the décor it's obviously supposed to represent being on the coast. West coast is the best coast. It was pretty clean considering there were hella kids lol. Pizza is good, would come again.

Don't judge a pizza by a weird t-shirt like slogan. "Pizza my heart" sounds cheesy, and so was the vibe when I walked it. I just finished going to the gym, so I was hungry and desperate for some food. I had super low expectations for this place, but honestly, it was above average. I have to say the crust wasn't bad and they were very generous with the toppings. The ranch was free, and the lady behind the counter was super with it. Do you want peppers? Do you want cheese? Do you want a box? Darn, she'd make a great project manager she was so on top of things! So my multiple slices of pizza, pepperoni, and sausage with garlic and onions was great. The pepperoni only one was great and loaded with lots of mini pepperonis, and their sausage and pepperoni was also good. For sure, I'd swing by again.

Was looking for a good, quick lunch and Pizza My Heart did not disappoint. Pizza My Heart in Downtown Burlingame has a lot of seats, TVs with sports on and they sell pizza by the slice or whole pies at reasonable prices. Easy to order, food comes out quick, it's very family friendly. Mushroom Pizza Slice - I just got one slice of pizza and it was the mushroom and cheese. It wooed me through the glass... A double layer of thinly sliced mushrooms that obliterated any site of cheese. The slice itself is large, it's on a thin, crispy, thin crust that is sturdy enough to support a heavy meat lover's pizza or something lighter like my mushrooms. They warm up the slice for you and there's self serve oregano, parsley, red peppers and parmesan cheese that you can add to your liking. The red sauce was present but didn't overwhelm, the crust was a delight. If you need a slice of pizza or more, Pizza My Heart is a tried and true favorite! ***Hot Tip*** If you are a San Francisco Giant's fan, check out their bobblehead collection, they have about 20 of them displayed!

Best pizza I've had in California…read more I ordered a Margharita pizza with olives and mushrooms. Both the toppings can only be described as "artisan." There was a variety of olives, a variety of mushrooms, both marinated artfully so they were juicy (but not soggy) and tender and oh, so flavorful. Just wonderful. I had intended to take half home, but there was no hope of that. Down the hatch! Washed by an excellent IPA on draft. Highly, highly recommended. There's parking front and half a block to the back. Lots of seating for eating-in. Clean and friendly. And the pizza: oh my.

Personally for me, I like my crust a bit thicker, so this was a bit too thin for me. As a result, the sauce from the pizza made the bottom part of the dough kind of soggy. Had to eat it with a knife and fork and it was a bit messy. So texture wise, this pizza was not up to my standards. Taste wise, I would say these are some decent pizzas. You've got a good amount of toppings and get that nice, wood fire touch to each bite. Service is friendly and the overall atmosphere is pretty nice. Better for dining in with a fork and knife and not to pick up/eat to go!

This might be one of my new favorite restaurants. Me and my gf celebrated our 3 year anniversary…read morehere the other day. We made a reservation for 6PM on a Friday night but it wasn't terribly overcrowded. The space inside is pretty spacious, cozy and looks made to be able to hold a decent number of people. We ordered: the Carne pizza, a whole sized rotisserie chicken (with mac and cheese and Brussel sprouts as sides and the Thai sweet chili as the sauce), and cornbread as a starter. The pizza had a nice chewy texture and the dough was nice and soft. The chicken was bigger than I thought it would be and was not dry at all. The cornbread came with butter and had a nice crust along the outer edges. Everything we had was fantastic. The portions were pretty generous and the prices are fair. Something hard to find when you go out to eat these days. No BS hidden fees like you see in a lot of SF restaurants either. Service was also quick and attentive. Definitely will be coming back to try their other pizzas and items!

The Manager is HORRIBLE…read more I had a reservation via open table - He refused to sit us down, saying that we have to wait in line for everyone that had come and put their name together. When I argued with you, "What's the point of a reservation?" he said, "Well your reservation was done only an hour ago, which doesn't really carry weight with us." Then he was weird and asked me to leave the restaurant. This is a picture of him. I would never go back and I would warn anyone not to take any of the reservations seriously. This is the way they treat their customers

12/14/2025 Came here…read moreper friends insistent recommendation. There was only a couch seating inside for you to wait for your order to be made and two outdoor table/ chairs. The shop is pretty small and it's basically Togo. For this location, you can't mix b match w the small pizza size. And they don't sell by the slices. Small: 9x 13". 4 slices Large: 13x18" 8 slices. We ordered the clam garlic to share between the two of use. Honestly I was very skeptical since who puts clams on pizza. But per my friends insistence. We ordered it. And I LOVED it. It is the weirdest and tastiest combo. And the cheese.... Was so good. I got this really great cheese pull and honestly. I can't wait to go again. Pizza took a bit to bake. But it was fresh 100/10 recommend to drop by and try. A warning tho, no parking. Just park on the street and this location not normal. I was skeptical. But it's okay! It's okay! That's when you know they have the best pizza lol

If I am being honest, I really only heard about Golden Boy Pizza about two years ago when they were…read morementioned on a KQED piece on Bay Area pizza but since that time, I have read up a lot about them. I learned that it's essentially the "Cheeseboard pizza equivalent" of the city but given that I don't live in SF, I had bookmarked this place to try at some point in the future when I was up there. I then learned through a Yelp email piece on pizza along the peninsula that Golden Boy also had this San Mateo location, which is much closer to me so I decided to visit and finally try this pizza. A common theme amongst a fair amount of the comments for Golden Boy whether on social media or even Yelp was that it was overrated and I definitely agree. I want to be clear that the pizza wasn't bad but it did not impress me in the way that I expected given the reputation. The pizza is said to be its own "San Francilian" style, which (based on what I saw firsthand) means Sicilian mixed with a little bit of Detroit. Granted, I don't see a lot of Sicilian style pizzas so I will give them credit on that front but otherwise the pizza really didn't blow me away. The clam pizza was definitely unique and delicious and interestingly, I may have given this place five stars if I only had that one. However, I always evaluate a place as whole and the other pizzas were just okay. In terms of general notes, this place is essentially a ghost kitchen off the beaten path so it's pretty much pick-up only. As other people have mentioned, they only do whole pies and not by the slice. Like I have said, the pizza here is good but definitely not outstanding in the way that I expected. I would definitely make a note of this place as one of my go-tos for pizza if I lived in the neighborhood but given that I live in Mountain View, I will probably not be rushing back anytime super soon.
