I truly don't know what else to say besides this place is amazing. Food is great, I usually do the burrata, tomato salad to start, a lasagna and a tiramisu. Hits EVERY time. Last time I went, they added a bunch of different specials like steak, fish, other pastas- didn't get to try them but they all looked great and I'll definitely plan on getting one next time. Stopped by on a whim on a Tuesday around 5pm. There wasn't a wait yet and only two tables taken. Service was attentive and a carafe of water was given to the table (of 3). We got the gnocchi fritto, burrata alla caprese, insalata mista, Italian sausage lasagna, lobster ravioli (special), and tiramisu. Gnocchi was fried well and was chewy and crispy. The truffle cream sauce was nice. I could see this going well with an order of the meatballs. The burrata was good as well with juicy tomatoes and seemed to have some sort of pesto sauce with it. The mista salad was a bit bland - probably wouldn't order it again. The italian sausage lasagna was good - crispy cheese edges and had a kick to it because of the peppers. I did find the lasagna on the slightly drier side. It was better after we added some of the sauce from the ravioli. As for the ravioli, it was a tiny bit disappointing. The restaurant is really cute, but it is very small. We made a reservation ahead of time, but when we arrived there was a large party inside, so our options were sitting in the very back indoors or outside on a warm day. We chose to sit outside, but as the sun shifted it got pretty hot and we ended up having to get up halfway through the meal to move our table, chairs, and umbrella to stay shaded. About an hour into our meal, our conversation was interrupted and we were asked to leave because they needed the table for other guests, which felt a bit rushed. Walked around and decided to check out this tiny gem. It definitely doesn't disappoint. They line to get a table did start to get long but it was a good thing we got there just in time. Such a cute, intimate restaurant! Came in with some friends who made reservations and was seated quickly during lunch on a weekend. The lasagna portions imo are pretty big. My favorite was the zucchini lasagna in comparison to its traditional counterpart. But all the lasagnas we tried were just as tasty. Their salads are also really good and are enough to share between two people depending on your appetite. The waiter who helped us was also very attentive and very knowledgable with the menu/wine. We got the burrata alla caprese (with added prosciutto) and that was super creamy and delicious. We also got the popette al sugo (meatballs) which were in a very tangy sauce with tender meat. We tried three different lasagnas: bolognese, Italian sausage, and pollo all vodka. The lasagnas were HUGE and you can easily share one lasagna between two people. It was my first time dining at Capri Lasagneria and I really enjoyed it. From the food to the service to the overall ambience, everything just came together nicely. We came in for an early dinner and were seated immediately. We also had our toddler with us. I'm not sure if they always bring out focaccia right away, but they did for us, and it kept him very happy while we settled in. Capri Lasagneria had six specials that night, which added a nice variety to the menu. We ordered one of the specials which was the short rib tortellini. The tortellini pieces were a bit larger than what I'm used to, but I didn't mind at all. They were soft, really flavorful, and super filling. Portions overall felt generous. Of course we had to get a lasagna and we went with the Italian sausage. We were surprised that you can actually taste a bit of spice in it. Wow! This spot has the best lasagna I think I've ever had! I came by for lunch and was immediately sat down at a table. The server was very friendly and answered all the questions I had about the menu. The interior is well-decorated and themed. I felt like I was in Italy and the decor on the table was cute and well-presented. I decided on the Burrata Aila Caprese with Prosciutto for my appetizer and it was an extra $5 for the prosciutto but it was worth it. The mozzarella was fresh and it paired well with the balsamic, tomatoes and the pesto sauce. It was quite filling and is easily shareable between 2 people. The fresh bread that was brought out was also tasty and a great way to start off the meal. I ended up ordering the Bolognese lasagna for my main and it was simply amazing! The bechamel was rich and the lasagna sheets were al dente and the ragu was hearty and full of meat. The meat to cheese ratio was excellent. We went in to try their special of the day: seafood squid ink pasta. It was absolutely divine! They didn't hold off on the seafood. The pasta came with shrimp, clams, squid, mussels and fish. We tried the four cheese, which was a little too much cheese for me but still quite good, and the bolognese which was absolutely perfect. Added some gnocchi frito to start because why not and a really fresh, crunch and delicious seasonal salad which was the perfect balance. The housemate tiramisu is one of the best we've had, as well. I'm torn about this spot. Right off the bat, the ambiance is super cute with incredible staff that make you feel like you were transported to the streets of Italy. But unfortunately, the food was average at best. The handmade focaccia brought out at the beginning of the meal, which I was so excited to try, was extremely stale. The flavor was good though! I also ordered the seasonal seafood linguine and was a bit underwhelmed. The flavors were ok but my main qualm was the temperature of the dish... the seafood was cold but the noodles had pockets where it was hot and pockets where it was lukewarm. For the amount I paid, I definitely feel like I could have gotten a better dish elsewhere. Similarly, my friend tried their vodka sauce lasagna which they thought needed a bit more seasoning. And my other fried got the build your own pasta which was good BUT she ordered meatballs and it didn't come until the end of the meal when most of us were done eating. She also seemed short with us when we didn't want to order dessert and when we asked for boxes when we didn't finish our food. Cute spot with warm ambiance and service. I've been here a couple of times and can say the food is pretty solid. I've had half the lasagnas on the menu and they're all tasty. My only gripe is that the last time I went, our lasagna came out a little overcooked so some of the cheese is hard and the lasagna is a little on the dry side. That is to say, the lasagna can be a little inconsistent depending on the day. Both my friend and I Iiked the zucchini lasagna better in terms of texture, since the zucchini helped give it some bite. Tables are very close together, but it wasn't uncomfortable. However, service was really spotty, and by the time it was nearing the end of our meal, it was nearly impossible to flag down a server to get boxes and our check.
