    Pappardelle

Always delightful to discover an in-housemade pasta restaurant. We found Riposo on a company's support local business program list and visited for a Friday lunch. Although located in an industrial park, the restaurant is landscaped nicely outside, and in an impressively contemporary style on the inside. We ordered at the counter. The menu was easy to peruse, and we chose the Pappardelle Pasta and the Di Parma Pizza. We chose a table with a view of the open kitchen (we could see the pasta maker and pizza oven) as well as the large dining area. Large windows with outside views was nice too. We were brought plates, napkins, silverware and glasses of water at our table. Very happy to receive the thoughtful service. Overall, we felt a quality restaurant ambience. The pizza and pasta arrived together. Both looked great in presentation. The pappardelle dish had a flavorful short rib ragout sauce which coated the nicely al dente pasta. The menu description for the pappardelle included gremolata which did not make its presence felt; I noted just one garlic sliver during the meal. I also feel shaved parmesan would have pumped up the flavor profile a little (those who love parmesan know what I mean). There wasn't any additional parmesan offered. Still, this pasta dish impressed. The pizza was excellent as well. From the menu description, we weren't sure what to expect since it only listed toppings. No hint of the pizza crust being done in a specific way. The crust was medium firm on the edges (good for holding) and hand-built floppy on the inside (fold it and you're good to go). Toast marks were noted. The toppings especially the prosciutto were in very good flavor balance. There was plenty of baby arugula too to give a refreshing side to each bite. The highlight was the drizzle of balsamic vinegar which harmonized everything. Only after we finished the pizza, we remembered the menu said it had a soubise; it wasn't one of the flavor notes noticed. We were happy diners no doubt. It wasn't crowded. Parking was super easy. Staff were friendly. Decor was comfortable. Good value. Tasty food. And we were delighted to find a place with yummy in-housemade pasta. PS Not sure if you need to, but staff might come by once to ask how the food was to check on satisfaction.

Absolutely fabulous. This place is close to work. A coworker and I have been checking out eateries near work. So far this one of the best places for pizzas. The pizza had lots of flavor. The portion size were huge. Even the small salad I got was bigger than expected. Overall atmosphere was great, lots of natural lighting and live plants. Outside seating available too. Service was excellent, the staff came by frequently to take away empty plates or to ask if we needed anything else. We will definitely be coming back to this location.

We ordered 2 sandwiches and it came out to be about $26. Parma (9/10): I wish there was more of a crunch in the bread but everything tasted so fresh. This was one of my favorite sandwiches I've had in a while. Tuna Salad (9/10): The tuna salad was super fresh tasting. We had to bring it back to-go because it was close to their closing time so the bottom bread did get a little soggy. This was a definite come back if I'm ever in the area again.

Not a bad stop, but I would probably not return again in favor of trying something new. The decor has a lot of stuff about war and it feels a little cramped in there. I think most people that I saw got their orders to go.

I ordered the Godfather sandwich based on previous photos. I thought it was going to be some kind of a loaded sandwich since it was $20 after tax. When I opened the box, I was a little bit worried that I had ordered the wrong sandwich because it was about the size of my hand. I looked at the photos and I thought ma'am it's kind of looks similar, but maybe I'm just missing something as a scale. But if you look at the layers of the meat, there are actually less layers now than there were 12 and eight months ago. I'm not saying it's a bad sandwich. I'm just saying it's a bad value. The Caesar salad seemed like it was prepackaged in a box. The cheese, kind of taste like refrigerator. And there was no lemon or any kind of anchovy sauce or flavor in the dressing. At the time of writing this review, this restaurant has 4.6 stars shame on me for not reading the recent reviews because I'm not sure I would have ventured here if I did.
