My mother-in-law especially loved the pepperoni and said it was her perfect slice. The salad bar was also solid with fresh veggies, flavorful dressing options, plus potato and macaroni salad. We hadn't had a mountain mikes pizza in years, and were craving their creamy garlic sauce. Highly recommended. The pizza is great with a nice crust. There is a buffet where you can make your own salad. Pricing is very fair. Wait is short. But most of all, we had an incredible experience at Mountain's Mike Pizza. We had a team celebration with 40 students and parents. We showed up with an hour of heads-up. Came here for an impromptu dinner with the family. We decided to get a medium pizza, half McKinley and half cheese to be kid-friendly. There 12 slices that come with the medium but the slices are fairly small, think kid birthday party portions. The pizza tasted good though, although my husband was not a fan of the crust - the dough here is a bit denser and stiffer than you might find at another pizza spot. My kids gobbled up their portions though, so that is always a good sign. Although we were dining in, the pizza was given to us in a takeaway box and we had to ask for the pepper and cheese as it wasn't automatically given to us. read more

This was my first visit to Mountain Mike's Pizza in Millbrae and my expectations were exceeded. It was a Friday evening, and I had three of my grandchildren with me. Originally, I ordered on-line. After paying, I realized I made a mistake so I called the store. A very nice gentleman told me not to worry and that he would fix the problem when I arrived. Upon my arrival, he cancelled my original order and helped me place a new order so that I could get a discount. The ambiance was great, considering it was a Friday night, the location was not packed which I prefer. I am a creature of habit, so I typically order a Hawaiian pizza. For once, I thought I would try something different and I am glad I did because the pizza was delicious. It had barbecue sauce. Thick slices. No skimping on the toppings. Service was outstanding. Be cautious about using any rewards here. I got a half half pizza (cheese and pepperoni) and redeemed a reward. Didn't notice til we got home it looked and tasted like they Frankenstein'd and reheated previously made pizza and boxed it up. The cheese side was more charred than the pepperoni side. And the cuts were uneven and so deep on the cheese side that it looked like it was pieced over cooked together as a single pie. Some slices of the cheese had zero cheese pull and were more cooked than the others and uneven sizing. Since there was only one person at the buffet it's likely it was leftover buffet food they tried to salvage to save money. It's a bummer because I come here and the staff is nice. This is not cool though. Will take a break from here for a bit. read more

After my vacation I stayed at the Hilton Airport. Ordering as a first time customer I was offered a large pepperoni, mushroom and black olive pizza for the price of a medium. I am not saying this is offered to every first time customer. I guess you can say I was lucky on the cost and the amazing pizza. I had the opportunity to speak to Beep regarding the total cost. Silly me I forgot the tip I gave and the delivery cost. Where I live there is no deliver cost or they include in the total price. The service was very kind and fast. Beep was amazing to chat with. She gave me a breakdown of the price and mentioned they will continue to provide the total cost and ask if the customer has questions. Trust me I had no problem with the less than $4.00 delivery cost, it was just not included in the total cost provided to me. Mountain Mike's All-You-Can Eat Weekday Lunch Buffet is an amazing deal and basically the only time I come to this Millbrae location during lunch hours. They serve their buffet from 11am-2pm and for 2 people, having a pizza buffet with a salad bar for just a little over $32 is a great deal. Parking is easy as the small lot is rarely packed. Customer service is also very friendly and patient. Definitely also very attentive and they always ask if you need anything. I definitely recommend ordering a fresh pizza as soon as you pay because it's much better than some pizzas that you don't know how long has been sitting there. My go to that I always order is the Chicken Club. My god, it's one of the best chicken pizzas I have ever had. The creamy garlic sauce with the fresh chicken and bacon bits. So good. Hopefully my doctor doesn't read this, but I really like coming here every week or two. Just had an end-of-the-season party here for my son's football team. We were a group of 30+ people and Dave and his team took care of us.
