We've been coming to Zorba's for 20+ years. As kid, we'd come with friends after games, practices, birthdays, you name it. It's always been one of our spots. Nick has always taken care of us. There's always some good banter and laughs, which makes it even better. If we're not there in person, we're ordering it at home. It's a family staple at this point. Stopped into Zorba's for an easy dinner. Nick was our server and did a great job taking care of us! We ordered the Greek salad and super Zorba pizza. The salad came out with lots of olives and cheese and 2 containers of dressing- they did not skimp! It was delicious. The small pizza was so much bigger than expected and we couldn't finish it. It was loaded with LOTS of meat and veggies. The mushrooms were fresh- not canned- THANK YOU!!! The pizza was made of the freshest, softest dough- what a delight! Pizza is on the thicker side (crust wise) but I enjoy the flavor of their pizzas. Parking is not the greatest so be aware of that. There is ample seating and they do have a few tvs to watch games. They also have a small arcade for any littles you bring with you that enjoy playing them. read more

Pizza always hits the right spot, I typically do to go, but there's ample space in the restaurant. Bummed the SSF location closed but you can rely on the Millbrae spot! A sleeper of a place, old time style. A friend wanted to put together a get-together weeknight dinner in Millbrae and I suggested the legacy pizza place formerly based on Daly City. My friend is more familiar with the area suggested coming here as we met around 6:15 pm on a Thursday night. I only found this okay as I am not a fan of shrimp on a pizza other than that long-closed Wolfgang Puck spot on Post Street that had a spicy shrimp one. There were 3-4 pieces of shrimp on each slice which overwhelmed the clams which seemed more of a garnish. The starters were both good and as described. Besides our waitress, a young gentleman was the main person who brought our food, removed our empty dishes, and filling my request for more ice for our iced tea pitcher. Being the 2nd party in the restaurant after 6:15 pm, the dining room filled as we left as most wall side booths were taken as well as a few large tables. From the front, a couple friend who live in the area commented that they never knew there was a dining room judging by the street frontage. It was a hearty meal and those large to XL pizzas were huge as we saw a neighboring table share one (party of eight) with a couple smaller pies. if you enjoy thicker crust and more filling pies, you'll enjoy this, especially fresh while there. The pizza here is super underrated! I picked up from here on a Monday night and was surprised by the quality and size. We ordered an XL award winning pizza and added sausage which was a nice touch. The breading on the pizza wasn't too thick or soggy which I really loved. We also got two orders of the buffalo wings, which was surprisingly a good amount for the price. We went here a while back and the first time we went it was a complete miss. We ordered pizza that came out with very thick crust and too doughy. We didn't order it that way, but I guess that's how the pizza is. Our server told us that if we wanted it thin crust, we have to specify that. We also ordered a Caesar salad and it was swimming in dressing. Over time a few of our friends have told us that the food here is really good so we decided to give it another try. Again, we ordered pizza, specifically thin crust, and an order of buffalo wings, specifically extra crispy. Believe it or not this experience was even worse. The pizza had so much cheese on it that it was heavy, soggy, and unbalanced. We had ordered the entire pizza to be made with olives and to add salami and mushrooms to half. As someone who's worked in three different pizzerias for a total of 12 years it looked like they forgot to add the salami to half of the pizza. What they tried to do was cook the salami on the side and then add it on top and then throw more cheese on top of that to try to disguise the mistake. I could tell that they did this because instead of the salami lying flat like it would have if it had been cooked originally with the pizza from the start, it was all curled and shriveled up and unattached to the pizza. Even with their attempt at trying to throw more cheese on top it was obvious. The chicken wings were below average. They weren't horrible just really small and tasted like Tyson chicken wings from the frozen section of your grocery store. The worst part is that they weren't even crispy. I mean they could've at least gotten that part right but nope. It's like they're not even trying. I understand that we all have bad days but people pay a lot of money to go out to eat. This meal was almost 65 dollars for a pizza, an order of wings, and a small sparkling water. If you accidentally mess someone's order up, ok, it happens. But don't make them eat the shit you messed up on and then insult them by making them pay for it. What's even more incomprehensible is that we were one of 3 tables in this restaurant table! When we arrived here there was another table on their way out, so we were pretty much by ourselves for half the time we were there. By the time we left, there were two other tables. I say this because there's definitely more of a forgiveness factor if the place is slammed but this was not the case. It was bizarre. Even in a restaurant that wasn't busy I still had to flag him down to get a box and the bill. Don't even know why I got a box. When I asked him for one he sarcastically said no, we don't have those here! I don't think he was trying to be rude but we had been waiting so long it was just inappropriate. He seemed to be a bit clueless and unaware of what was going on around him. There was another table that came in towards the end of our meal and they left after a while because nobody came up to their table to help them. In regards to the restaurant, I've always liked the layout of it. I like the half crescent booths, the open kitchen, and the little arcade. It reminded me of my own childhood. After begging through most of the meal, I finally brought my four year-old in there right before we left and none of the machines were on. I guess you have to ask. Maybe we just keep ordering the wrong things. That is a possibility. Maybe it's the Greek food here that's great? Stop cutting corners and try harder. With mountain Mike's around the block, Toto's right down the street, and Tony's Slice House opening up any day now you have options that you can't contend with in the pizza department. Fortunately your restaurant has a lot of rustic charm so put in some effort. read more

Love the vintage ambiance and owner run feel. Very mom and pop kinda place. Food made with love and delivered with a smile. Dough is very fluffy, veggies were fresh, ricotta was piped on so nicely, and sauce was mildly delicious. I will be coming back to explore more of the menu. We've been to Zorbas 5 times at this point and have yet to be disappointed by them. This is one of the few restaurants that I can trust with consistent quality each time. Our go-to items on the menu are always the Zorba wings (fried wings in an Asian-inspired sweet garlic soy sauce) and the #17 Award winning pizza with ricotta cheese. I have to say those wings are better than the (IMHO) over-hyped and overly sweet Sang-Tung wings. They are very salty though so go easy on them. Tonight we tried the Chicken Piccata from the entree section. It came with a generous portion of 3 pieces of chicken breast with capers and mushroom sautéed in white wine. The chicken was very tender and moist. I can name at least a few "authentic"Italian restaurants in North Beach with worse tasting food than this Greek-Italian fusion's attempt at Italian cuisine. read more
