    Pizza.. that dough tho

Our server Nick was amazing!! We ordered several items from the menu. Everything looked delicious so it was hard to choose. Everything we order was unbelievably delicious. Words can't describe. The best Italian food I've ever had!!!! Only problem is, I wish we had one on the Southeast Coast of Georgia!!

    Outside of business

Stopped into Zorba's for an easy dinner. Nick was our server and did a great job taking care of us! We ordered the Greek salad and super Zorba pizza. The salad came out with lots of olives and cheese and 2 containers of dressing- they did not skimp! It was delicious. The small pizza was so much bigger than expected and we couldn't finish it. It was loaded with LOTS of meat and veggies. The mushrooms were fresh- not canned- THANK YOU!!! The pizza was made of the freshest, softest dough- what a delight! The prep style of the pizza was different than a traditional pie- dough, sauce, mozzarella cheese.... then all of the toppings and feta cheese on top- ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! Highly recommend! Great food! Great service and plenty of good cold beer!!!

Very quick service, street parking, the vibes give off old school pizza and pasta restaurant! I would go here for casual dinner or lunch Or even a memorable date night!!! We got the Zorba seafood pasta and the spaghetti & meatball. So yum! Reminds me of home cooking!

I really like their pizzas and order from here only when I'm in town. Can't go back to another pizza place with this around. Too bad they don't have a shop out where I live. Pizzas are so flavorful and the crust is just how I like it.

We had a wonderful experience at Zorba's Pizza! The food was fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. We ordered the Caesar salad and pizza, and both were excellent everything tasted high quality and made fresh. The atmosphere and service was perfect for our family outing. My husband enjoyed being able to watch the baseball game on the TVs while we ate, and my daughter had so much fun playing the arcade game. It's such a great spot for families because there's something for everyone to enjoy. Great food, fun environment, and welcoming atmosphere we will definitely be back and hope Nick will be our server again!! Excellent!!

A sleeper of a place, old time style. A friend wanted to put together a get-together weeknight dinner in Millbrae and I suggested the legacy pizza place formerly based on Daly City. My friend is more familiar with the area suggested coming here as we met around 6:15 pm on a Thursday night. One friend and I shared a pitcher of iced tea (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=XMa6DBEb6TungGMZiFcz1A) while our other two friends shared a pitcher of Diet Pepsi. All of our foods were eaten family style. We started with the calamari fritti (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=MX4d8xVAeEovbwTH6XmxIQ),described as made to order, fresh calamari hand-battered & fried golden brown; we were given both tartar sauce and a marinara sauce for dipping. My friend also requested a side order of meatballs (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=aPgmkkby9Mou5X3dfrTlWA), an off-menu item, served with a generous amount of marinara sauce and topped with Parmesan, which the waitress helped us order; there were four meatballs (4), one for each of us. My friend was curious in ordering a mini of their Award winning pizza (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=Dsc_a_as6qD3-AidbRa6GA)m described as cup pepperoni, ricotta, mushrooms, Parmesan; it was tasty and the ricotta made it a heavier or richer pie but it was definitely hearty. We also shared a medium O Sole Mio (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=q-W1aH6rkPPfjGb3RiIajw), salami, pepperoni, mushrooms, sausage and mozzarella; this is a meaty combination that was pretty good and my favorite of the three pies. I suggested doing a clams and garlic pizza and our waitress recommended the Santorini seafood pizza (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=ttlIB64-oOVT9veTrf8nxg), which we got in a medium size; baby clams, shrimp, fresh garlic, Parmesan cheese, mozzarella. I only found this okay as I am not a fan of shrimp on a pizza other than that long-closed Wolfgang Puck spot on Post Street that had a spicy shrimp one. There were 3-4 pieces of shrimp on each slice which overwhelmed the clams which seemed more of a garnish. The starters were both good and as described. Besides our waitress, a young gentleman was the main person who brought our food, removed our empty dishes, and filling my request for more ice for our iced tea pitcher. Being the 2nd party in the restaurant after 6:15 pm, the dining room filled as we left as most wall side booths were taken as well as a few large tables. From the front, a couple friend who live in the area commented that they never knew there was a dining room judging by the street frontage. It was a hearty meal and those large to XL pizzas were huge as we saw a neighboring table share one (party of eight) with a couple smaller pies. if you enjoy thicker crust and more filling pies, you'll enjoy this, especially fresh while there. I must admit, it lost some luster when I reheated it at home.

Spaghetti al Burro - very good!

Sorry we did not get a photo! We were too busy enjoying the most amazing pizza ever! If you are ever in the area, stop by and ask for Nick! His customer service is second to none!

However, service was superb and they frequently checked on us for water and bread. My husband and I ordered: -the linguini with clams in white wine 10/10 for a flavorful sauce and black pepper taste. The ratio of mussels and clams to pasta was what I like to see! -the calamari was very much just okay; too rubbery and not crispy without taste but not bad. 6/10 would not reorder upon return. --special of the day clam chowder 10/10 blew some other chowders I have had out of the water from seasoning and fat clam pieces. --fettuccine with scallops and shrimp was 9/10. Creamy and hearty, but my husband notes he did feel it was slightly too heavy for him to finish but did not complain because the portion was huge! They also gave us a free cheesecake dessert courtesy of it being an anniversary for us. The bill was around $150 after tips/tax and appropriate for a moderately evening fancy occasion.

The restaurant was decorated in Valentine's Day colors with balloons and streamers which made it more enjoyable. They had a set menu for the day and a list of cocktails to choose from. Items Ordered: - Rocca Italian salad: The Italian dressing was light and just the right amount. I really liked the cherry tomatoes and carrots that added to the salad. - Gnocchi: The gnocchi was soft and a little bouncy/chewy. The pesto sauce was good and creamy. Overall a solid gnocchi dish. - Tortellini Alla Casalinga: Came with meat-stuff pasta with pancetta, peas, mushrooms, all in a cream sauce that was really delicious! Sauce wasn't too heavy and filling and wasn't overly salty. A very nice place for a date night but also fit for an occasion or even a casual meal.

They were very generous with the protein in the paella, and the empanadas were yummy and had good breading. The octopus was very tender with a smoky char. The calamari had a light and crispy batter to it. The patatas bravas were just okay, there was nothing particularly exceptional about them. The sampler is a good item to order if you'd like to get a taste of multiple appetizers without wanting to load up on them! The sliders had very thick patties and were well seasoned. Service was quite good, I'm not sure if I would come back.

The hostess and waitress were both very nice & lovely. What I didn't really like was them telling every table when getting seated that they're putting a 1 hour limit since it was Valentine's Day. It just felt distasteful but we also didn't feel rushed out. I think it started getting really crowded around 6:30. The tables were also very close together, I think they tried to stuff as many tables as they could since it was Valentine's Day. There wasn't a lot of room in between tables to even go to the restroom. We were seated near the entrance as well so I had people bumping into my chair whenever they came in. We ordered the Gambas Al Ajillo, Paella and the short ribs. Gambas Al Ajillo: good flavor, a little spicy/sour but was just a little bit too salty. Paella: This was really good, but not the best i've had. I still prefer the paella from Picaro. There was a lot of toppings but I feel like there wasn't enough rice. Short Ribs: These were good, but I feel like it was expensive for what you got. It came with potato wedges and mixed veggies. Some of the meat was also a little bit tough, but the other pieces melted in your mouth. Overall, I would come back! Staff was very friendly and attentive and the food was good.

This place is fine. Let's just breakdown the individual aspects…read more 1. Ambience.- the layout is fine but the door opening up into the kitchen seems like it might be cool, but it just blast the restaurant with cold air and that means they're exposed exposition kitchen is getting blasted with the exterior elements, it's not inviting despite the cool exterior, on the night that I went you had five employees standing around doing nothing waiting for an order with very little hospitality. No music, and interior design should have led to a great retro design and feel but instead, it just felt outdated. They could easily fix that though. 2. Hospital- some. Barely a whisper. Was it service? Sure but nowadays that's not enough. 3. Crust- not great. not a lot of complexity of flavor despite the good crime structure in blisters on the crust showing that at least they're doing something to age it. 4. Flavor- there was so much cheese on this that I couldn't taste the sauce. The problem was the cheese didn't seem like it was good quality. It was definitely not grande or Saputo. I watched him make it and they had no portion standards in place. And the whole raw sausage thing. I guess? Seems dangerous. Pizzas cook at 550° for eight minutes with that style, give or take. It's not impossible for that me to get to 165 but you definitely don't want the raw meats piled up above the portion line in the containers which there were. That means cold air from the cooler. All their vegetables and meats were piled way above. It's a move guys make when they consolidate one container from another, which isn't safe practice either. Final verdict- if it hits home, I get it, but if you're looking for a elite Pizza, this is not the place and if you're looking for an elite experience, this is definitely not the place. I was left with the impression of what could be as opposed to what it is. I am available for consulting if they really are interested in fixing your stuff. Greatness is around the corner.
