We stopped by K-Noodle on a Sunday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised to be seated right away. The space has a clean, modern Korean vibe -- bright lighting, cozy booths, and a welcoming atmosphere. Service was impressively fast without feeling rushed however the food took awhile to come out which was a bit too long. Here's what we tried: Beef Rib Noodle Soup - The standout dish of the meal. It came with two huge, tender ribs, and the meat literally slid off the bone. The broth was clear yet rich, full of flavor, and perfect for a comforting meal. Seaweed Rice with Spam - A simple but hearty side. The portion was big, with a thick slice of Spam on top of seasoned seaweed and fluffy rice. Great for sharing or for someone who wants a filling add-on. Jajangmyeon - Very generous serving size, and the noodles were nicely chewy. The sauce was on the lighter side -- still tasty, but I personally prefer a deeper, bolder black bean flavor. Overall, K-Noodle is a solid choice in Burlingame if you're craving a satisfying Korean noodle meal that is if you can wait. Affordable, fast, and that rib soup alone is worth coming back for! We'll definitely be returning to try more of the menu.

If you want comfort Korean food on a cold day, come here! My husband and I wanted something hot and soupy and each ordered the oxtail soup (one with noodles and one with rice). The broth was nice and creamy, oxtail bartender, and portions were very generous. This totally hit the spot! We'll have to come back to try the tofu soup and other dishes, but it seems like the oxtail and rib soups are the main attraction of this place. You can also order Tiger Tea here! If you're at Mills Peninsula frequently, come across the street for some yummy Korean food.

Great spot, amazing food, wonderful service. We came on a Monday for lunch, and K-Noodle was almost entirely full. We ordered their ox bone soup and spicy pork lunch special. Both were delicious and generous in portion size and came with giant bowls of fresh rice. They also had kimchi, radish, and mung bean banchan. Interior is clean, spacious, and comfy. Service was great - we were offered multiple banchan refills, more napkins, and extra bowls for sharing all proactively without needing to ask or flag someone down. Their lunch special menu is a great deal. Will come back to try more items!

10/6/24 I met up with my friend here for dinner. K-Noodle is situated in a large plaza so there's plenty of parking. It used to be Spicy Factory, where korean chicken wings were the specialty. Here's what we got: - cold seasoned stems (appetizer to share) - black bean noodles (his) - beef rib noodle soup (mine) We also got 3 small plates of bonchon which wasn't that great. The cold seasoned stems was basically black seaweed which tasted kinda basic. My beef rib noodle soup was also basic and bland. This is the kind of soup you should get when you're sick. Service was fine, overall okay. Not sure if I would come back.

located at burlingame plaza at the end near trousdale...korean boonshik restaurant offering a little of everything...from black sauce noodles to spicy seafood soup noodles...korean soups, bibimbap and hot plate korean meats...kfc available...a lunch visit and couple lunch menu items available...6 chicken wing lunch set was $16.95...choice of flavors...bbq pork lunch $18.95....comes on a sizzling hot plate with rice, but flavors were off...bit bland and wasn't good...beef bibimbap $17.95 was very simple and average...service is a bit slow and food wasn't great...

Lunchtime for 2 on a Sunday at around 12:30pm, super chill around this time. Seated immediately and not too crowded. This place is amazing value! Fast service and the food is delicious. I got the #9 Premium Ox Bone Broth, perfectly seasoned I didn't have to adjust it at all. Nice big pot of barely tea available on request. We had a really good time. Would def recommend a visit!

Food was good - we had the fried noodles with black bean sauce and the fried chicken (all flats, 1/2 honey, 1/2 mild spicy). The noodles came hot, tasty and were plenty for two people. The wings were hot and crispy - the flavor was not as intense as the Oakland Korean spots I'm used to, but still good. The server was attentive - he was the only one working the front of the house, taking meals, serving orders, bringing bills and bussing tables. Despite that, he made sure our cups were full and gave us updates when our food was coming. He even made sure our banchan was refilled! Inside it was clean - there were two TVs that had the Valkyries game on. Menus were clean and had plenty of pictures. If I'm in the area and have a craving for Korean, I wouldn't mind coming back to K-Noodle.

Found this when I look for Korean restaurant that serve noodle soup. This restaurant is next to hospital which I think in a good location. Next to it is boba shop which I saw some customer went to the the boba shop after their meals. The interior is very simple, with couple tables and the dishes photo all over the wall which looks inviting. The menu is pretty complete with many varieties of Korean dishes. We order Spicy Seafood noodle soup and Stir fried noodles with black bean sauce. They give 3 type of banchan, daikon, beansprout and kimchi. The kimchi is sweet and later I saw it is from a big jar that you can get from grocery store. I wish they make it fresh in the restaurant. At least if have it from jar, don't show the jar. The noddle soup is yummy but not spicy. the Stir fried noodle is served with hot iron plate. the presentation is good but I just feel it is too sweet. The server is very nice and very energetic. Only one server serves all the tables. Overall it was ok meals. May be next time we will try other dishes and wish they make the kimchi in house.

Sooo yummy!! The restaurant is not so big, but clean and nice! The food came out in a decent amount of time, and it was all very yum! Sometimes the texture of rice cakes get tiring after a while but mAn I wish there was more - it was sO chewy! Parking outside was easy, and there's a boba place right next door too!

Must-Try Korean spot in the Bay Area! @knoodleandtofu offers a unique blend of Yanbian cuisine and Korean dishes. Each dish is so authentic and made with care, it's the perfect spot to enjoy with friends and family because the service really makes you feel welcomed. The space is very homey and in a plaza with a lot of parking. *What We Ordered* Bibimbap Beef Spicy Fried Rice Cake with Cheese Beef Tofu Soup Noodles with Black Bean Sauce Kimchi Fried Rice French Fries

(#29) Korean Army Stew (Budae Jjigae)

This might sound rather odd, but despite how we fully intended to come here, we actually didn't intend to come here either. After unexpectedly discovering there was a Korean restaurant in this complex a little over a year ago, I made a mental note to come back to check it out. Now, it's my fault for taking so long, but I didn't realize until we looked at the menu that the one I first saw (Spicy Factory) had been replaced by the one we were sitting in (K-Noodle). Not that big of a deal, as I'm always down to try any and every Korean restaurant, but it also didn't hurt that the menu still included the Budae Jjigae and Korean fried chicken wings we had originally come here to get! Since the reviews on here from over a year ago are actually for Spicy Factory (their Yelp page was renamed to K-Noodle), the overall rating may or may not be accurate, but it's possible the food/owners are the same despite the change in concept. Comparing the two, Spicy Factory's menu was more like a Korean pub with its multitude of sides/snacks, but K-Noodle still offers several similar dishes, including the aforementioned Budae Jjigae, Fried Chicken Wings, Fried Seaweed Rolls, Ddukbokki, and Korean BBQ lunch specials. However, being more noodle centric, the majority of what they have is made up of a variety of noodle soups, stir fried noodles, soups/stews, and rice dishes. -- BANCHAN - Kimchi, Radish Kimchi, Beansprouts While the beansprouts were great, the other two were not. I don't know if they make their own or source it externally, but both the kimchi and the radish were pale and super bland. -- (#19) FRIED CHICKEN WINGS...$19.95 I was really excited for this, but it was just okay. The wings themselves were big and moist while the sauce/glaze was flavorful and not overly sweet. However, the batter was weird - it was decently thick, but it almost felt like it was baked in an oven rather than fried (not super hot nor crispy). -- (#29) KOREAN ARMY STEW...$45.95 Sadly, this was kind of underwhelming. Although there was a fair amount of goodies (especially the spam, sausage, and veggies), the broth felt watery and lacked seasoning (gochujang, salt, better kimchi, etc.). That said, I really liked the bowl of fresh noodles they give you to add in (really nice bite to them). -- (#18) FRIED SEAWEED ROLLS...$10.95 Ehh...not bad, but nothing special either. Each piece was decently plump and were actually pretty crispy, unlike with the wings. That being said, the taste of these didn't seem all that much better than the frozen ones you can find at Korean markets. -- (#11) PREMIUM OX BONE SOUP WITH RICE (Seolleongtang)...$19.95 I meant to get this with noodles instead of the rice, but no matter - this was still solid. Even though the brisket was cut into chunks instead of slices, the beef was tender and the soup had a really nice, peppery flavor to it. While the food felt rather uneven overall, service here wasn't too shabby. In particular, the male worker (owner?) that helped us the first time I was here was really friendly and checked on us often. What's more, both of our orders didn't take long to come out. Which, to be honestly, only makes it that much more disappointing that the food was so mixed. Given their name and how good the noodles were, it's entirely possible that I goofed and failed to get the best things that K-Noodle has to offer. If that's the case, I'll be sure to write an update after the next time I come here, but it's hard to give more than three stars for now.

We were seated right away, and the restaurant itself is clean, nice, and spacious. I can imagine it getting packed during peak hours--and honestly, it should. I'm going straight to the point: Han Sang has the best Galbi Jjim I've ever had. I've been to other places (which shall remain unnamed) that proudly claim they have the best Galbi Jjim, but I'm happy to say I've finally found the one. At the same time, I'm a little sad because I live in SoCal, which means I can't just come here whenever the craving hits. This dish checked every box imaginable. The beef was incredibly flavorful, fall-apart tender, and they gave a generous amount of meat. And when I say meat, I mean actual meat--not a pile of bones disguised as a serving. (Yes, that's coming from past restaurant trauma.) You definitely get your money's worth here. The rice cakes were cooked perfectly and soaked up all that rich, savory sauce. Then came the surprise waiting at the bottom: glass noodles. Not the usual thin ones either--these were thicker, chewier, and absolutely delicious. Every bite was packed with flavor. The entire dish was so satisfying it genuinely made me happy. We also ordered the Chadol and Yangji Suyuk, a beef brisket soup that was exactly what we needed on a cold evening. The brisket was tender, and as expected, the broth arrived lightly seasoned so you can adjust it to your liking. After adding a little salt, pepper, and some ssamjang, it became the perfect comforting bowl of soup. Warm, hearty, and incredibly satisfying. Unfortunately, we didn't get to try their Bossam because the portions were huge and we could barely finish what we ordered. That's not a complaint--if anything, it's the perfect excuse to come back. Maybe this is what people mean when they say they left their heart in San Francisco. Mine might actually be sitting in a bowl of Galbi Jjim at Han Sang.

I asked the owner if it was the same ownership as the South San Francisco restaurant, and he told me that location belongs to his brother. One thing I noticed right away was that everything came out at once. Most Korean restaurants serve tea and banchan (side dishes) first, followed by the main dishes later. Personally, I loved that everything arrived together because it made for a beautiful presentation and allowed me to take great photos of the entire meal. The meal came with eight side dishes: fresh greens, soybean sprouts, potatoes, fried tofu, fish cake, kimchi radish, kimchi cabbage, and seaweed. The variety was impressive, and each dish was well prepared. For our main dishes, we ordered the Galbi (L), Bulgogi (L), Seafood & Green Onion Pancake, and Cold Noodles. The galbi and bulgogi were both perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful. They were well balanced, not too salty and not too sweet. The seafood pancake was a standout. It was wonderfully crispy with plenty of seafood. My only suggestion would be for the dipping sauce. It tasted a little too light for my preference. A sauce with more spice and a touch of sweetness and savoriness would make it even better. The cold noodles were decent, but the broth portion was a bit small, and the flavor was somewhat bland compared to the other dishes. As for the side dishes, the fried tofu was my favorite. The potatoes were delicious with a tasty sauce, and the greens were fresh and crisp. Overall, we had a great experience. The food was delicious, the portions were generous, and the presentation was great. :)

Fast forward, it's Mom's Day, kids having meals on their own as parents, our celebration is to go somewhere good to have a meal, no lines (didn't make a res), kinda spontaneous. Hanabi fits the bill. Ordered the pork belly ramen ( looked really good at a neighboring table) and the Mayu-ramen, spicy, with kfc chicken (not what you think, means something else), both with a miso base. Wait was reasonable, time to get a table was 30 seconds tops. Other nights it's been jammed but not Mom's Day, just quiet, enjoyable. Both meals were spectacularly reasonable, serving what you'd want, with enough of everything to want to dive in because you were pretty assured you were going to be satisfied. Not fru-fru or bougie, ingredients that make the dish memorable yet feel you are knowledgeable and appreciated. Pork belly was soft, fatty yet lean, cooked well enough to be tender, yet with a little chew (not disintegrating like some bellies), lots of noodles al dente so you appreciate the noodle was not a mushy mass in the bowl like some places. The Mayu came with 3 drumsticks burning hot from the fryer but oh so good because it's served in a separate dish so it doesn't get soggy. The spicy is good enough to keep things interesting with losing its identity (unlike a lot of places). And they give plenty of ramen because it's that good. We keep coming back because they serve no-frills, you-can-bank-on-it ramen that is satisfying, consistent; staff is friendly without being overbearing. It's not a big place, tables and a counter, but they know how to keep diners happy and coming back for more. What more can you ask for? Thanks, Hanabi, will definitely be back!

Craving protein? This spot has got you covered for seasoned skewers over a warmed plate…read more I came here on a Saturday evening and there was no wait! I came with a friend and got seated immediately. In terms of service, there wasn't too much interaction with the staff since you order via QR code, but they will come over and put your receipt on the surface of the table and check off your items as they bring them out. Initially, my friend and I thought they grilled the skewers on the plate at the table; however, it comes pre-cooked and grilled, and the plate itself is there to keep your food warm. I looked under, and it's "powered" by a bunch of tea candles. Between both of us, we ordered some skewers of enoki mushrooms (which was my favorite, super tender and flavorful), some beef skewers, a beef skewer with lychee (super unique), beef tongue (a bit tough for my liking), and chicken skin (extremely crispy, somewhat hard to pull off the skewer). I want to call out again the beef with lychee since this was an item I do not see often. It was interesting because the beef was seasoned well and when combined with the lychee, it added a refreshing note; however, the lychee's textural profile was similar to fatty beef, which personally threw me off a bit as someone who tends not to like fatty cuts (if you are a fan though, you'll like this). Overall, this spot is an okay place to check out if you're in the area. Parking in this area of San Mateo is limited, but the restaurant itself has a lot of tables, so it can be good for bigger parties.
