Great spot, amazing food, wonderful service. We came on a Monday for lunch, and K-Noodle was almost entirely full. We ordered their ox bone soup and spicy pork lunch special. Both were delicious and generous in portion size and came with giant bowls of fresh rice. They also had kimchi, radish, and mung bean banchan. Interior is clean, spacious, and comfy. Service was great - we were offered multiple banchan refills, more napkins, and extra bowls for sharing all proactively without needing to ask or flag someone down. Their lunch special menu is a great deal. Will come back to try more items!

10/6/24 I met up with my friend here for dinner. K-Noodle is situated in a large plaza so there's plenty of parking. It used to be Spicy Factory, where korean chicken wings were the specialty. Here's what we got: - cold seasoned stems (appetizer to share) - black bean noodles (his) - beef rib noodle soup (mine) We also got 3 small plates of bonchon which wasn't that great. The cold seasoned stems was basically black seaweed which tasted kinda basic. My beef rib noodle soup was also basic and bland. This is the kind of soup you should get when you're sick. Service was fine, overall okay. Not sure if I would come back.

Food was good - we had the fried noodles with black bean sauce and the fried chicken (all flats, 1/2 honey, 1/2 mild spicy). The noodles came hot, tasty and were plenty for two people. The wings were hot and crispy - the flavor was not as intense as the Oakland Korean spots I'm used to, but still good. The server was attentive - he was the only one working the front of the house, taking meals, serving orders, bringing bills and bussing tables. Despite that, he made sure our cups were full and gave us updates when our food was coming. He even made sure our banchan was refilled! Inside it was clean - there were two TVs that had the Valkyries game on. Menus were clean and had plenty of pictures. If I'm in the area and have a craving for Korean, I wouldn't mind coming back to K-Noodle.

Lunchtime for 2 on a Sunday at around 12:30pm, super chill around this time. Seated immediately and not too crowded. This place is amazing value! Fast service and the food is delicious. I got the #9 Premium Ox Bone Broth, perfectly seasoned I didn't have to adjust it at all. Nice big pot of barely tea available on request. We had a really good time. Would def recommend a visit!

Found this when I look for Korean restaurant that serve noodle soup. This restaurant is next to hospital which I think in a good location. Next to it is boba shop which I saw some customer went to the the boba shop after their meals. The interior is very simple, with couple tables and the dishes photo all over the wall which looks inviting. The menu is pretty complete with many varieties of Korean dishes. We order Spicy Seafood noodle soup and Stir fried noodles with black bean sauce. They give 3 type of banchan, daikon, beansprout and kimchi. The kimchi is sweet and later I saw it is from a big jar that you can get from grocery store. I wish they make it fresh in the restaurant. At least if have it from jar, don't show the jar. The noddle soup is yummy but not spicy. the Stir fried noodle is served with hot iron plate. the presentation is good but I just feel it is too sweet. The server is very nice and very energetic. Only one server serves all the tables. Overall it was ok meals. May be next time we will try other dishes and wish they make the kimchi in house.

Sooo yummy!! The restaurant is not so big, but clean and nice! The food came out in a decent amount of time, and it was all very yum! Sometimes the texture of rice cakes get tiring after a while but mAn I wish there was more - it was sO chewy! Parking outside was easy, and there's a boba place right next door too!

Must-Try Korean spot in the Bay Area! @knoodleandtofu offers a unique blend of Yanbian cuisine and Korean dishes. Each dish is so authentic and made with care, it's the perfect spot to enjoy with friends and family because the service really makes you feel welcomed. The space is very homey and in a plaza with a lot of parking. *What We Ordered* Bibimbap Beef Spicy Fried Rice Cake with Cheese Beef Tofu Soup Noodles with Black Bean Sauce Kimchi Fried Rice French Fries

This might sound rather odd, but despite how we fully intended to come here, we actually didn't intend to come here either. After unexpectedly discovering there was a Korean restaurant in this complex a little over a year ago, I made a mental note to come back to check it out. Now, it's my fault for taking so long, but I didn't realize until we looked at the menu that the one I first saw (Spicy Factory) had been replaced by the one we were sitting in (K-Noodle). Not that big of a deal, as I'm always down to try any and every Korean restaurant, but it also didn't hurt that the menu still included the Budae Jjigae and Korean fried chicken wings we had originally come here to get! Since the reviews on here from over a year ago are actually for Spicy Factory (their Yelp page was renamed to K-Noodle), the overall rating may or may not be accurate, but it's possible the food/owners are the same despite the change in concept. Comparing the two, Spicy Factory's menu was more like a Korean pub with its multitude of sides/snacks, but K-Noodle still offers several similar dishes, including the aforementioned Budae Jjigae, Fried Chicken Wings, Fried Seaweed Rolls, Ddukbokki, and Korean BBQ lunch specials. However, being more noodle centric, the majority of what they have is made up of a variety of noodle soups, stir fried noodles, soups/stews, and rice dishes. -- BANCHAN - Kimchi, Radish Kimchi, Beansprouts While the beansprouts were great, the other two were not. I don't know if they make their own or source it externally, but both the kimchi and the radish were pale and super bland. -- (#19) FRIED CHICKEN WINGS...$19.95 I was really excited for this, but it was just okay. The wings themselves were big and moist while the sauce/glaze was flavorful and not overly sweet. However, the batter was weird - it was decently thick, but it almost felt like it was baked in an oven rather than fried (not super hot nor crispy). -- (#29) KOREAN ARMY STEW...$45.95 Sadly, this was kind of underwhelming. Although there was a fair amount of goodies (especially the spam, sausage, and veggies), the broth felt watery and lacked seasoning (gochujang, salt, better kimchi, etc.). That said, I really liked the bowl of fresh noodles they give you to add in (really nice bite to them). -- (#18) FRIED SEAWEED ROLLS...$10.95 Ehh...not bad, but nothing special either. Each piece was decently plump and were actually pretty crispy, unlike with the wings. That being said, the taste of these didn't seem all that much better than the frozen ones you can find at Korean markets. -- (#11) PREMIUM OX BONE SOUP WITH RICE (Seolleongtang)...$19.95 I meant to get this with noodles instead of the rice, but no matter - this was still solid. Even though the brisket was cut into chunks instead of slices, the beef was tender and the soup had a really nice, peppery flavor to it. While the food felt rather uneven overall, service here wasn't too shabby. In particular, the male worker (owner?) that helped us the first time I was here was really friendly and checked on us often. What's more, both of our orders didn't take long to come out. Which, to be honestly, only makes it that much more disappointing that the food was so mixed. Given their name and how good the noodles were, it's entirely possible that I goofed and failed to get the best things that K-Noodle has to offer. If that's the case, I'll be sure to write an update after the next time I come here, but it's hard to give more than three stars for now.

This place seems newer in the Burlingame town center. You're close to some gems (shout-out to Little Lucca's and Happy Donut). I ordered a beef tofu soup and they bring tea and banchan. The tea is nice. The banchan had daikon, kimchi and sprouts. It tasted fresh but it needed some salt and maybe more sesame oil in the bean sprout. The beef noodle soup came with some zucchini and shiitake mushroom. It was flavorful and was comforting to taste. Random but I did enjoy the music they had (reggaeton and some hip hop lol). Service was good.

I ordered their #1 recommendation, the Homura Aburasoba, and immediately scarfed it down. Popping the perfectly runny egg yolk into the noodles was incredibly satisfying, and every bite was packed with rich, savory umami. The noodles themselves were thick, chewy, and had a great bite that held up well to the sauce. I also tried the Wagyu dish, but it arrived more cooked than it appeared in the photos, which made the texture and overall experience a bit underwhelming. The sauce also leaned on the creamier side, which isn't my favorite pairing with Wagyu, so I'd probably skip that one next time. That said, the Homura Aburasoba alone is worth coming back for and easily earns Kajiken a well-deserved 5/5.

It was absolutely fantastic. I think I might have found a solid challenger to my favorite ramen place in the downtown. This dish was an incredible blend of soba noodles, spicy minced pork, fresh vegatables and egg. Wow. I am a huge fan. Whether you order the chicken or the pork, the breading is always perfectly crisp while the meat stays incredibly juicy and tender. Beverages: Sake Flight - we got the daily japanese flight which had a fun mix of sakes from japan two filtered sakes and one unfiltered giving us a range of tastes and textures Food: Vegetable Spring Roll - good, very light and refreshing, classic rice paper wrapper filled with crisp fresh lettuce, bell pepper, radishes, and carrots, served with a thick creamy peanut sauce with nice savory nutty notes a great starter Japanese Style Chili Garlic Poached Chicken - excellent, served chilled, tender poached chicken in a delicious spicy garlicy soy sesame dressing, served with cucumber which provided a nice cool refreshing bite, really well balanced with great depth of flavor Soy milk pho with chicken & vegetables- good, a very unique and interesting take on pho, broth has a subtle soy milk flavor with a nice depth from the chicken broth, served with flat rice noodles which made this a lighter dish, chicken in this was also very tender and juicy, the yuzu kosho added a nice subtle citrusy spice to the broth, noodles had a slight bite wish it was cooked just a touch longer, flavors were really balanced as well with lots of complexity Service was good, really quick and efficient, staff was warm and friendly and were knowledgeable about the menu with solid recommendations. Staff refilled our water throughout the meal and checked in periodically. Pacing of dishes also felt just right not much of a wait between courses. Overall really enjoyed our meal at Rin-Tei, a great spot for a nice dinner that's still fairly affordable for the bay area. Really loved the fusion and unique twist this spot offers. Definitely worth a try if you are in San Mateo

I wanted to like this so bad. This was highly recommended by many folks, but now I'm questioning…read moretheir taste buds haha. Very clean and cute eatery with an adorable entrance. You enter and check in at the front where you will be seated and given menus. Once you decide on your order, you head back to the front to place your order and they'll bring it to your table later. Our order... Creamy Soy Milk Pho $25: It's straight forward, taste like pho with soy milk in it. The dish doesn't open some new flavor combo in your taste buds, just expect it as is. Keema Curry $23: I liked this a lot, fan of curry. However, this wasn't spectacular curry. Tasted as good as I can make it at home, but I'm not a great cook, just follow the instructions on the box. I liked the flavor but bummed that I paid that much for it, haha. I was very confused it tasted as such. Vietnamese Papaya Salad $12: Another of my favorites dishes, but boyyyy, this missed the mark. It was so strangely bitter. Again, the ingredients seemed quite fresh, but the sauce (which makes the whole dish) did not taste good. I would avoid. One note I will say is that the ingredients do seem fresh. I guess it could be considered clean eating? But over all, the visit was disappointing unfortunately.
