My table ordered the three in one noodle, biangbiang noodle, crispy pork sandwich, chili wonton, and cucumber salad. Everything was a hit. The noodles are hand pulled, giving them amazing texture with a perfect numbing heat from the Szechuan chilis. Wontons are also a highlight. The food came hot as it was made, and dishes can be shared family style or enjoyed individually. This is a special restaurant. I highly recommend trying it out! read more

This Chinese restaurant primarily serves Xi'an style food, and is one of the best new additions to broadway. Inside of the restaurant is very clean and spacious and the staff here is quite attentive. There is a variety of different types of items on the menu ranging from appetizers, dumplings, Chinese burgers, and handmade noodles. I highly recommend trying the spicy and sour liangpi which is served cold and is very refreshing on hot days. The noodles have a nice delicate texture and the contrast between the chili oil and vinegar makes it quite flavorful, without being too greasy. I also recommend trying their hand pulled noodles, dry or in soup, which have excellent bite and texture. Overall very blissful experience, and would come again. read more

Absolute bangers all across the menu. We got two hot noodles, cold noodle and a dumpling. All outstanding. I don't know which was my favorite. Maybe the spicy sesame dumplings? Or the three topping noodle? The noodles have SO MUCH QQ! And the flavors were everywhere! Spicy, salty, sour wowowowowow I'm so excited to comeback and go thru the whole menu!! read more

This restaurant is located in a cute neighborhood of Burlingame. It's our first time in the area and a friend recommended this restaurant. Everything looked really good on the menu and we were excited to try some hand pulled noodles. Really liked the rice noodle with sour spicy minced pork. The noodle was chewy and the broth was good. It was a good portion for one too. My belly was quite happy and full after. read more

Good Chinese noodle place. Got the three in one with biang biang (wide) noodles and it was very tasty with minced pork and sauce coating those large lasagna sized wheat flour noodles with nice texture and medium spiciness that was just right...love that I could still enjoy the flavors but with that traditional heat. My buddies opted for hand pulled noodles which is their most popular. We also had cucumber and chili oil won ton small plates to share. All in all, a very good meal that you should try, especially if you like spicy Chinese noodle dishes! read more

New restaurant in Burlingame specialized in biang biang noodle and special handmade shaanxi style noodle. This same location used to be a ramen restaurant. No much changes on the interior beside some wall paper and picture as I remember. We came when it is almost close and we have 5 min to decide and order. The menu is considered simple for chinese restaurant. We ordered biang biang noodle, rice noodle with minced pork, pickled beans and hot chili oil, and chili oil wonton. The food was yummy. Thecrice noodle portion is generous. Biang biang noodle is smaller portion which is normal. Chilinoil wonton was good. It was pretty good service and experience for new restaurant. read more

With a high ceiling, terracotta soldier artwork, and nostalgic Chinese instrumental music playing in the background, Blissful Noodle offers a bright casual, and comfortable space. When we were there for a weekday lunch, there weren~4-5 other parties, and the one wait staff was able to sufficiently serve all the tables without long waits. We ordered a sprouts & gluten appetizer, a pork crispy sandwich, and the Three-In-One dry noodles. Everything was OK. The hand made noodles were chewy, though on the thick and doughy side. My main issue though is that even though pork is the meat that's in the Three-In-One noodles, there is mild gaminess in the pork, and I don't like gaminess. I doubt there's lamb in the mix but perhaps the aroma transfered from utensils or cookware. read more

Amazing food. However, was quite disappointed that my E2 was supposed to include an egg but didn't. I understand it's a small business but I was not checked in on once until the very end when I was ready for the check; then I was able to ask about the egg in in which my server was apologetic and offered to get me one but at that point it was too late and I was nearly finished. The chili dumplings are to die for though! The sauce was so good so I'll definitely be back. The vibe was cozy. Servers were sweet just very inattentive due to how busy it was. read more

Blissful Noodles on Broadway in Burlingame is a great little find. They serve Shanxi-style noodles, from a region known for banking and vinegar, so the tang is authentic and the portions are a solid gold. I recommend the cucumber salad, then order the Three in One Noodles. You'll leave happy knowing there's an alternative to spaghetti and meat sauce. read more

This place has been on my list for a while since I saw some influencer post about it on IG. The restaurant isn't big, so at 1pm on a Sunday it was pretty much a full house. We were a party of 4 and while there were some tables open, they asked us to wait for a bit before seating us. After a short wait, they offered us free loose leaf tea in an elegant teapot and matching tea cups. What a way to start! We ordered a mix of items for us to share and the waitresses were super attentive - gave us cups and waters, forks when we asked for them, small bowls, etc. Upon delivery of each dish, they mixed the noodles for us too, which was nice. The best item was definitely the vegetarian biang biang noodles. The noodles were so tasty, had a good chew, and the sauce was just perfect. Just be warned, it's one long, really wide noodle. Everything else was great, but we did order a lot of oily and spicy dishes so you felt full pretty quick. Only feedback is that the cucumbers and mushrooms could've had a bit more seasoning. And for those who don't like a nutty taste in their sauces, don't get the cold spicy sesame noodles. I'll be back for more biang biang noodles! read more

I was very disappointed with the service and how they handled a simple mistake. The appetizer we ordered was extremely salty--so salty that it was difficult to eat. I understand that mistakes happen in any restaurant, and I am usually very understanding when they do. What matters is how the staff responds and fixes the issue. When I politely informed our waitress that the appetizer was overly salty, her only response was, "I'll pass your message to the kitchen." There was no apology, no offer to replace the dish, no attempt to make it right, and no follow-up afterward. We were simply left with a dish that we couldn't enjoy. Mistakes happen, and I don't expect perfection. However, when a restaurant makes a mistake, I expect some level of customer service and accountability. A simple apology or offering to replace the dish would have completely changed the experience. Instead, it felt like our concern was ignored. Unfortunately, this level of service is unacceptable and left a very negative impression. I hope management takes customer feedback more seriously in the future. read more

Admittedly when we saw Blissful Noodle the first time, we were a bit hesitant. Burlingame's strong suit isn't exactly Asian food but then we happened upon a reviewer that recommended it so opted to try it. We ordered 3 dishes - the liang pi, the lamb dumplings in sesame chili, and the three in one noodles with the biang biang noodles. The liang pi came first. The noodles were a little thicker than what I'm accustomed to but still good but the star was the chili oil! It brought subtle heat but also had a nice floral flavor which hints to me it's made fresh in house daily. The one downfall on this dish was the wheat gluten which was probably kept in water because it was super water-logged instead of taking up that tasty chili oil. Next up were the dumplings which were supple and juicy. The lamb had just enough flavor to let you know that it was indeed lamb. It was odd that Blissful Noodle didn't have an option for just boiled dumplings. While the sesame chili sauce was tasty, honestly the dumplings could have also shined independently. Lastly the three in one noodles. We subbed the biang biang noodles and these were both extra wide and super long. It was so good! The chew was especially enjoyable! I would absolutely repeat this one again! read more

Good chewy noodles xi'an style. The spicy and sour liang pi was a burst of flavor. The noodles are made from wheat flour, rather than green bean starch (I was hoping for green bean tbh) but it was still tasty. It's a very thick noodle. Goes great with the sauce. It's spicy and sour as described. I love the tang from the vinegar. The heat in the chili oil. The wheat tofu topping soaks up a lot of flavor and is one of the best parts when you bite into it. The noodle with cumin lamb was okay. The noodles were great but the meat was a letdown as it was so fatty imo. Some pieces were not chewable. The spice was kind of there but not really, and it could use more sauce as the noodles were so dry and unflavored. I ended up mixing in the liang pi sauce into my noodles to have some sort of flavor. The romaine lettuce did not pair well in this dish imo. Strange. The crispy sandwich with pork was good. Very crispy indeed and flaky. The pork was tender and stewed well (tender, juicy, fatty), but a bit too heavy in the porky flavor. Could use some sauce to cover it up a little. The seaweed and dried shrimp wonton soup was so refreshing and clear. The wontons were flavorful and perfect size. The seaweed was savory and a great topping in this soup. read more

We had a wonderful meal at Blissful Noodle on a Friday evening around 6:30 pm - there was no wait for a party of 3! Service was quick and friendly. We ordered the Spicy and Sour Liang Pi (4/5) which was the perfect level of acidity and spice. The texture of the cold noodles is a lot softer and slipperier than the hand pulled noodles so it was a nice contrast in our overall meal. We also ordered the Three In One Noodle (4.3/5) which was tomato forward but still had a healthy amount of chili oil. We asked for the belt noodles instead of the regular round noodle and we all really liked the QQ texture, it was perfectly chewy without being tough. My favorite of our meal was the Pork Dumplings in Sesame Spicy Sauce (4.7/5). The dumplings were so juicy and I loved the earthiness of the sesame. It was the tiniest bit salty towards the bottom of the bowl but the chili oil flavor was great. Overall a 5/5 meal I would come back for! Even though every dish had the same chili oil base they each offered different flavors and textures that made the meal very enjoyable! There was a pool of chili oil at the bottom of each bowl, but don't be afraid! it was the perfect spice level for someone who doesn't eat too much spicy food. Parking can be a little tricky during busy times but my friends and I were able to find parking in the neighborhood or street after a little searching. read more

Lots of seating available even on Mother's Day. Fortunate for me because I was starving. Quickly ordered a bowl of noodles, Noodles 3 Way, minus the chili oil as I do not tolerate spicy well. The staff did mention that the ground pork was also a little spicy. Food came fast. They will help you mix your noodle unless you decline. The hand pulled noodles were fresh, perfectly cooked and chewy. The ground pork was tender and not spicy at all. The egg and tomato mixed really well with the pork that gave the dish a pleasant slight tanginess. I really enjoyed the dish but felt like it was a bit small for the price. I would recommend at least one visit as the noodles were really good. read more

Summary: Solid made-in-house noodles Details: Not a ton to say about this one: food was good, not great. Flavors are all pretty solid, but on the lighter (almost too much so?) side, which was a little surprising for a Chinese restaurant. Noodles are made in-house and have a good chew, so if anything, stick to those. For folks who enjoy liang pi, theirs veer on the thicker side, so you might want to go elsewhere for that. Accessibility: Spacious venue with lots of accessible tables. read more

Came here on a weekday and was surprised it was pretty packed. Thankfully, my family were able to get situated upon arrival without havingn to wait. Service is a tad bit slow but wait staff are friendly. Highlights Lamb dumplings in sesame sauce (4.6/5) absolutely best thing here! The lamb is succulent and the sauce is umami and coats the dumplings well. This dumpling skin is a tad bit on the thicker side which isnt my personal favorite but the flavors made up for it. Biang biang noodles(4/5) im use to biang biang noodles being flat and wide and was surprised they came out as an udon shape. The chewy texture was perfect and the aromatics of the spicy sauce was delectable. The only thing I would say this dish is lacking would be meat. Beef pancakes (4/5) the flaky buttery crust of the pancake was perfection. The cumin meat was flavorful but wished the meat was a bit more tender. Liangpi noodles (3/5) the cold noodles were slippery and smooth but personally I prefer chewier noodles. Overall great spot to check out. read more

Place was quiet and empty upon arrival but soon more customers showed up. Server was quick and friendly. I ordered E4 Rice Noodle With Minced Pork,Pickled Beans And Hot Chili 酸豆角泡椒肉末拌粉. Really delicious broth, flavorful minced pork, egg tasted good, and the noodles definitely hit the spot. The only part I would change it the quantity of green onion and the rawness of the diced carrots (I prefer mine cooked a bit more for my soups). Overall would definitely be back! read more

Popped by for a second time. This time, we tried their spicy sesame liang pi, their cumin lamb noodles, and their rice noodle with minced pork, pickled beans, and hot chili. The liang pi was delicious again, though we did note that the spicy sesame liang pi is substantially heavier than their spicy/sour liang pi. The cumin lamb was flavorful, and the handmade noodles had a great texture/bounce. The rice noodles were also very flavorful, though the rice noodles themselves were a bit softer than we prefer. Service was great again. Interior is still very spacious and clean. read more

Blissful Noodles serves Chinese style noodles from a region in China called Xi'an which is known for their Biang Biang Noodles which are thick hand ripped noodles with a chewy texture, often mixes with hot chili oil and vinegar. This restaurant seems new as the interior decoration is updated and modern. Needless to say, we ordered the Biang Biang Noodles which were tasty, chewy, and a little spicy. Really addictive combination and we enjoyed the noodles. We also ordered the Rougamo Burger and Spicy Wontons. The Rougamo Burger is a flaky pastry baked fresh and stuffed with cold slices of beef shank marinated in some Mala marinate which consists of sichuan peppers. It's more of a numbing spicy than pure hot spiciness. Would definitely recommend a try. Finally, we also ordered the spicy wontons which consists of pork wontons mixed with chili oil, soy sauce, and some vinegar. Solid dish as well. All this and the final tab was around $40 so the prices were reasonable. ' The place was pretty empty when we were there on a Sunday so hope they get more business since the food is pretty good. read more

Very pleased with Blissful Noodle. I drove home to my parents' along Broadway, and noticed that a new business was in the old Sky Ramen spot and that they were having a soft opening. I needed to come here with my mom for lunch! Prices seemed reasonable to me (coming from San Francisco), but my mom thought they seemed steep at first when looking at the menu. However, after we got our dishes, she thought the portions were large enough to justify the prices (but that the pictures did not convey how large they were.) I ordered E2 (rice noodle with spicy sour minced pork), and my mom ordered E4 (rice noodle with spicy beef). We agreed that mine (E2) was better. I liked the vegetables and egg that they both came with, but E4 was too spicy (it was redder than E2) even though they'd appeared to be the same spiciness. Both came with quite a bit of meat. Flavors were very good and complex, and not overly-salty. One gripe that we've been having at more and more Asian restaurants, so it may be becoming the industry standard and is not just on Blissful Noodle--bring back free tea! $10 for a pot isn't even that bad compared to other places, but still! *shakes fist, saying, "back in my day..." The interior is very polished, clean, and modern. Service was very good, friendly, and helpful. As someone who grew up in the area, it's amazing to see more and more good Asian restaurants. read more

Delicious! Came in during soft opening, party of 2 at around 5pm on a Thursday. Very low traffic at this time Food came out fast, everything was very delicious. Fermented fish noodles and chili pork noodles came out great, very aromatic with good amount of kick. Noodle texture is soft and chewy, really hit the spot. We ordered the cumin lamb rougamo, but we were brought the pork rougamo by mistake, so we got a chance to taste both. The skin is very crispy, and the fillings were seasoned well. Great experience at soft opening! Will definitely be back read more

Noodles had a great texture, they had a good chew to them. Wider and thicker than other biang biang noodles that I've tried. The dish has a good amount of spice & cumin flavor. Sounds like they recently opened, and since I will never say no to noodles, we decided to meet up with a friend for dinner here. I ordered the veggie biang biang noodles ($15.95) while my husband got the cumin lamb noodles ($17.95). Service was pretty good, and they mixed our noodles for us. There's a sign in the front informing people on how to mix their noodles. It was nice that they did this, but I can't imagine them doing it for everyone if it's busy. The noodles were good, but flavor was on the lighter side. I also didn't like the vegetables that accompanied the dish. I thought it was strange that they used raw romaine lettuce instead of traditional Asian veggies. For $16, I want more vegetables. I did get some bean sprouts I suppose, but I do prefer more greens. read more

I've been to Blissful Noodle twice now, and both visits have been absolutely fantastic--I'm already counting down to my next one! On my first visit, I ordered the hand-pulled noodles in spicy beef soup and the wine chicken wings. The noodles were incredible--freshly hand-pulled to order, with that perfect chewy texture and authentic flavor that only comes from being made right then and there. The spicy beef soup had a rich, bold broth that was deeply satisfying, and the wings were flavorful and tender. As someone who loves noodles, I can confidently say these are the best hand-pulled ones I've ever had in the Bay Area. My second trip was with my husband, and we shared the Thick Biang Biang noodles, Clear Beef Rib Bone noodle soup and the spicy tofu. You can chose the type of hand pulled noodle desired with type of broth base. The rib noodle dish was hearty and comforting, with tender ribs and those same amazing fresh noodles swimming in a flavorful broth. There was so much tender meat, I could not finish. The cold spicy tofu was perfectly numbing and bold--great balance of heat and texture. Everything tasted so genuine and well-executed. The tea service was beautifully presented--elegant and thoughtful, which added a nice touch to the meal. Service was excellent both times--attentive, friendly, and efficient. The restaurant is spotless, and I love the open kitchen setup where you can watch the chef skillfully hand-pulling the noodles right in front of you. It's mesmerizing and gives you total confidence in the freshness. This spot is perfect for a date night--the cozy vibe, modern setting and delicious food make it special, and afterward, you can stroll along Broadway and enjoy the neighborhood energy. Highly recommend Blissful Noodle if you're craving authentic, handmade noodle dishes. Can't wait to go back! read more

Be cautious if you have an allergy or dietary restriction here. I had a disappointing experience here regarding a dietary request. Mistakes happen, the frustration was more so how they handled the mistake. Because of a gluten sensitivity, I ordered rice noodles and confirmed this change multiple times over the phone. " I need rice noodle, I am gluten free" " please make sure it's rice noodles" to which the staff said "of course." Despite that, I was given flour noodles. I called to confirm my order because upon receiving the noodles.. they did not seem to be the rice one. The employee insisted they used flour because "You did not tell us" The manager did reach out afterward to try and fix it, but the options still required me to drive back out for a remake or a refund. Apparently, the staff member thought I said "white noodles" instead of rice noodles. It was a blame customer + shoulder shrug response. There needs to be better training here on gluten sensitivities and communication--mistakes happen, but blaming the customer as the first response was so disappointing. "Gluten free" did not seem to ring a bell for the worker. read more
