This this Taco Bell is a hit or miss. We've been here several times and the only two times our order was wrong was during takeout. The staff is unusually friendly (this is a very good thing, lol) compared to every other Taco Bell we've been to. The restaurant is fairly clean for a Taco Bell, especially the ones in South Bay. Food is fine for fast food. Taco Bell is my favourite one. I know people shouldn't have to look at their food when going but that would be my suggestion. I haven't had this issue because I live nearby and I just eat at the restaurant for this reason. However, they never get my order wrong whenever I eat there... Wow, they actually do NOT have ice in the ice machine and they tell you that when you order a drink. Apparently ice is for drive through only. Nor sure what their deal is but their tables are gross and so is their restroom. Service is slow and rude and the food was lukewarm. Tried their 2000's throwback 7 layer burrito added chicken, also got their nachos bellgrande and an apple empanada. Greetings to all, this was my first time to this location, and I can say that I will not be back anybody soon. The location itself is not really visible to the street, you could actually pass by it without noticing it. I went through the drive through and it looks kind of Creepy to me. I was great at the front window by a worker that acted like she didn't want to be there. I ordered a simple Burrito supreme and a Flaming Hot burrito- Both looked and Tasted like they were just Unthawed and then wormed up briefly. I came here afternoon with some friends and was waiting on my order and it felt like eternity and I understand they work hard, have a lot of orders but when i asked for the Manager for help he was not friendly at all and I asked him nicely so I was shocked to receive an arrogant/ condescending tone from him. I live in Burlingame and this is the closest Taco Bell to me. I've been going here for quite a while, but I think I will stop. One thing I do notice is that the ice machine in the dining area is broken. It's always been broken ever since I've been coming here for the last three months. I read a few past reviews, and it was mentioned and I guess months later or maybe more than a year the ice machine still hasn't been fixed. Maybe it's a cost savings or something but can be an annoyance if you dine in. The staff are friendly. I did notice the man handling the driver thru orders multi tasking. He was assembling food (making tacos) and touching the headset back and forth to talk to drive-thru costumers while assembling the food. Kind of unsanitary from my eyes. Who knows, he could be handling cash payments as well which is a no go in my world because of bacteria. Does not change gloves. Lastly, everytime I enter.., it smells like poop. I mentioned to my wife, and she confirmed to me. I dont't think it's the ground beef at all. It just smells bad when you greeted when you enter and it smells like poop. If you go to other locations like the one in SSF or the one close to downtown San Mateo, their locations don't greet you with a poop smell when you enter I hope they can fix this. read more

The food is your typical Taco Bell food. It's Taco Bell, either you like it or you don't but most do. I know I do! I did like that they have a cantina menu which is not offered at regular Taco Bell's. The location can not be beat! You are literally on the beach and I'm sure thats why it was crazy crowded on a Saturday afternoon. The service was good, average. After receiving some de-constructed tacos from the taco bell a couple cities over, I've decided I need to branch out and try a new one to see how the quality it is. I was looking for 4th meal, and luckily they were still open so that I could get a quick bite to eat. First thing I noticed is that the prices at this location are cheaper than the one in South San Francisco. My $2 grilled chicken burrito was actually $2, not $2.50 like SSF. I was also trying to watch my figure so I didn't order as much this time, so just opted for a $1 potato taco. This was my first time getting the potato taco, and I gotta say it was pretty good. The potatoes were crunch, and whatever sauce they use, they need to put that on more items. It's creamy, slightly spice goodness. As for the grilled chicken burrito, it's a great deal for $2. They could use more time on the grill, but overall great value and flavor for what it is. The drive-thru wasn't packed, and I was in n out of there in less than 10 minutes. Extremely rude and messy atmosphere. I went and I was helped by a woman and a young man with black rectangle glasses last week. They were fast and friendly and I didn't get sick. The second time on 5/30/25 it was an all male staff. I got the same order, beefy 5 layer and a soft taco. I did my usual, due to my allergies, I ask if they have touched any onion if the staff may please change their gloves. He then added onion to my order. I had to again explain no I'm allergic and can't have it touch my food. He screamed "oh my god are you kidding me! My line is a mess what do you want!?" That reaction to someone kindly telling you they have an allergy is aggressive and uncalled for. I just left because I just could not believe that reaction and I was so angry. I love this place, the food is amazing. Love all the deals the Taco Bell app has, I love their soft tacos and the Baja drinks. The place is big, good for groups and services are fast. The majority of the food wraps are compostable, the bag, cheese sauce container and cups not the straw though. The parking lot doesn't have EV chargers, lots of space to park. read more

Taco Bell is my go when I'm in the mood for some comforting fast food. Hands down Mexican pizza is the way to go each time. I always go through the drive through and I've found their service to be quick and efficient. They have also implemented a touch-free process since the pandemic, with you putting your card directly into their chip reader so the cashier never needs to touch your card. They also hand you your food in a plastic tray and the bag is sealed with a sticker so you know that there has been no tampering of your food until you open up the bag yourself. The food is always consistent, especially when paired with a handful of diablo sauce. I only wish that their side tacos had a little more filling in them - it's about 95% tortilla and only 5% filling. Other than that, this is the closest that any fast food place has to getting 5 stars from me. read more

Maybe I am being generous in writing this review but I just have to vent just a bits about this particular Taco Bell. I had stopped to get lunch before work and I need something quick. I went through the drive-thru because I was in somewhat of a hurry. I order one of the combo meals that comes with a taco and a burrito. I was hoping that this would be redemption for Taco Bell in having had so many bad experiences in the past, that did not happen. After receiving my ordered I headed on over to my job and ate my food at work. The taco was fine. It was a hard taco that just needed some fire sauce applied to it to make it that much better. I was good with the taco. Now, the burrito that I had ordered was a whole other story. First off, I had no idea what I was about the endure in the aftermath of eating this burrito. The burrito itself was good. I was able to digest it without any issue. But, as I came closer to finishing the burrito was when my stomach started to feel weird in the worst of ways. Initially, I thought I was just bloated or had gas but that was not it. I tried everything to get the pain my stomach to subside but it was not going away. Thirty minutes after eating my food I found myself in the restroom dazed and confused by what this burrito had done to me. Let's just say that bombs were dropping and I was in the crossfire. Gotta say, Ryan is quite honestly the best worker I have ever seen, anywhere. 6 years I've been to this taco bell, Ryan's been there for like 3-4 years. I go at least 2 times a week and he's been friendly, outgoing, and super fun every time. This man never misses a beat and is on the grind.
