24 years of loyalty doesn't count for anything at T-Mobile. This review is more for T-Mobile corporate than this store but this is where I went in to do my upgrade and was shown that all 5 lines would be credited $830 for trading in an older iPhone and so I ordered new iPhones with this store and they were great! Showed me everything explained everything in detail and was impressed how easy they made it. However, when I returned my phones one of the lines was not given the $830 promotion. Went back I to the store and the staff member who helped me do the trade in/upgrade was there and she was trying to help with the tech support I was chatting with on the T-Mobile app. They kept repeating that the promotion was only for 4 phones only but I saw what my bill was going to be with all the trade ins and monthly payment for the balances on the new phones. This is a material misrepresentation. A classic bait and switch. And since I did not get my new bill within the 30 day return window to see this 5th line being charged full price, I have no options other than to pay full price for all 5 phones ($6000+) and cancel my plan. 24 years of loyalty ladies and gentlemen means nothing to T Mobile. They offered to reduce my monthly bill "...about $10 every month for about 6 months give or take..." actual statement from T-Mobile tech support. $60 bucks credit maybe... Thanks for reading, just wanted the public to know how they treat their customers, and for you all to make sure you get what they tell you they'll give you. I'm switching to T-Mobile after 20+ years with Verizon since Verizon just hasn't been upgrading their network and T Mobile has much better coverage for the place I'm moving to. This store is pleasant and multiple people greeted us as we walked in, we got help from Maxx pretty quickly. Maxx was friendly, and very efficient. He listened to our needs and patiently explained the options, and helped us switched the service. We did not time it but we were done in about 1/2 hour which was much faster than expected. read more

Walked in just to ask questions about switching from Verizon. I told my husband we are not switching today because I don't want to deal with that stress. Then we met MAXX - he's amazing. He invited our dog in with us and then proceeded to help answer our questions without being pushy to sell us on T-Mobile. Maxx managed to reduce our bill by so much money and get my 89 year old mom on a separate prepay plan since she uses no data that it was impossible for us to walk away. We pulled the trigger and the whole process was painless to transfer all the data because talking to Maxx is so easy and he's a wealth of knowledge. My husband and I are both 60+ so we are not as tech savvy as we should be but Maxx helped answer so many questions without making us feel dumb and was just so pleasant to deal with. He's so fun and makes the whole process, which typically sucks, smooth and easy. While waiting for data to load we talked about music and food. He is just a pleasant young man and was the WHOLE reason we switched. I wanted to wait until the bill came before I wrote my review because we wanted to be sure everything he promised, which sounded too good to be true, was actually true and it is. I have told all my friends to switch over to T-Mobile. In addition, the dead zones I had with my Verizon plan are gone including my mom's house which was a huge problem. I could not use my phone to search internet (she has no router) or make calls without a delay. T-Mobile service has fixed that completely. We love our new iPhone 16s and I wish I would have switched sooner. In addition to Maxx, everyone in the store is very helpful and kind, I had to go back once for help and the ladies (I apologize I can't remember their names) were both very helpful. Maxx, thank you so much for restoring my faith in customer service. I am always skeptical and non-trusting. You came through on your promises and are an exception employee. When we first walked in, one of the guys was only giving one word answers and barely looking up from his iPad. When we asked a question he would just point to the menu. Will never go anywhere else now, and spreading the word to friends. The level of customer service from Max at this T-Mobile on PCH was way above and beyond. He was extremely knowledgeable and patient, even though I had not originally bought the phone from him. My situation was a bit challenging, but Maxx took care of EVERYTHING. In addition to getting me set up with my new phone, my extra line, and disentangling me from AT&T (a challenge), he got my old phone's data transferred over to my new phone, got my number ported over, and even put on the screen protector and OtterBox. I was able to walk out of the store with a fully functioning new phone, dust bubble-free. Can't thank you enough, Maxx! read more

After years of frustration & dissatisfaction with our mobile cellular coverage and poor customer service, I'm so happy to say my search has finally ended. We've had AT&T and Verizon previously. We waited for over 20 minutes and although each rep was busy , they could have addressed me by saying "someone will be right with you" instead we were completely ignored!! Jose S provided exceptional customer service to not only myself, but my 3 family members. We came into T Mobile already extremely frustrated due to Verizon's lack of proper assistance, and Jose helped us with this entire process along with upgrading 4 phones. My family can be pretty chaotic as we are mix of very different personalities and Jose, very impressively, guided each of us to better understand what to expect from billing, how to back up our phones, and retrieve our transfer pin from Verizon without further complications. He took the time to write out all costs for every possible situation (which was at least 4 situations) we were considering and provided a thorough and transparent explanation to my dad, who speaks broken English and lacks patience. He even stayed with us till after closing time and didn't make us feel bad about it even when he totally could have. Due to Jose's kindness and understanding, my family and I had a seamless transition between carriers and are extremely grateful for his efforts entirely.
