I have been struggling with a phone lock issue for days and consumed over 5 hours of apple and TMobile support. I went into this store, and Daysha W. Greeted me and very quickly understood what was needed. She worked with me 1.5 hours and through a painful call to apple tech support. All the while, she kept her sense of humor and smile. I also appreciated the jovial spirit in the store with other employees and customers, very comfortable. In the end, she did help get me closer to resolution. Now apple support just has to review and delay 2 or 3 days to respond. Yes, they say they literally force several days for a response. Thanks, Daysha and everyone who helped. read more

The worst T-Mobil store in the area, they are straight up crooks, Will and lie and cheat to get your business and they are expert at it. Go to another stores and contact T-Mobil direct. Do not fall their Bait and switch tactic to trap you I saw a promotion on T-Mobil website and decide to go in the find out some details. Went in and talk to sell rep (a Hispanic male, will update name soon) and it was a promotion I trade in my ipone7 in for the new 13pro and receive a $400 credit. I ask they rep about the specifically about the promotion, first he told me they do not have any the phone on hand it will take 30 days or more get it, them he mention to get the promotion I have to change to a new magenta plan and give up my T-Mobile one plan witch a old all inclusive plan and I will revived my $400 trade in after I send in my old phone and the iPhone 13pro is on back order it will take 30 days or lager to get my phone, so I better complete Transiaction today. I moved forward beaded on the above. Well, the new phone arrive in 2 days with return receipt for the phone, I decide to go back to the store and verify the details before I send the old phone for the $400 trade in. When I went back, I spoke with Chris (assistant manager) and another sales rep (will update name soon), they assure me again just send in my old phone and the credit will apply to my account. So I did after verifying the info. 30 days later I finally receive my new bill, did not get the credit, so I contact T Mobil customer service directly, they told me I was mis lead by the sales rep, to get the promotion I have to go with a magenta max Plan Which is significantly more expensive and T Mobil inform me that they can not do any thing about it unless it was ordered directly with them, I need to get back to the store and dispute this with the store. I went back to the store, spoke with Chris, he first first try to upsale me to the plan which actually gave the promotion, I said no and than his response was it is your words and against our words, I need to air a formal compliant with T mobile to escalated and he told me it will be escalated to the manager, all of sudden he is only the assistant manager and I need to talk to Edward Granados, they store a manger which is not often in the stories So I contact the store over and over again and finally get hold of the Edward, his response was the same as Chris and he say he did not anything about it and he will "look into it" and get back to me next week. Of course I still not heard back...... From the top to the bottom, the store is Con, go to another store, if you Like T Mobil as a company, drive little distant and go to a legit T Mobil store instead. I would advise to call ahead and see if Marcus is working that day before coming. If not then don't even bother. I've been to this location multiple times and each time each employee couldn't help me with a single thing without having to contact a manager. One day they straight up told me I can't upgrade my phone because the manager wasn't there. Worthless! My cellphone carrier has been T-Mobile since 2015, and I have never had a problem. Last month, my wife decided to switch her cellphone carrier from Verizon to T-Mobile. She went online to do this, but instead of getting instructions on how to change carriers, she got T-Mobile 5G Home Internet hardware shipped to her, which we didn't want or need, as we have adequate Internet service in our home. The cost of this hardware is $50 a month. Not knowing what we had signed up for or what to do, we took the T-Mobile 5G Home Internet hardware to the nearest T-Mobile store, at PCH and Anza in Torrance. We were lucky that Maxx P waited on us. No one could have been better. He said we would not have to return the T-Mobile 5G Home Internet hardware to wherever it was purchased; the store would take care of everything, and we would not be billed $50 a month. Accepting the return of an item the store didn't sell us was a pleasant surprise. Maxx P said that my wife has to cancel service with her present cellphone carrier before she can sign up for T-Mobile service. He told us how to do this and in addition provided written instructions so that we wouldn't get confused and make a mistake. My wife and I went to a nearby Verizon store, where she cancelled her cellphone service. When we returned to the T-Mobile store, Maxx P was serving another customer. Daniel K competently took over. When Maxx P was free, he came by to be sure that we were completely happy, which we were. read more

My sister and I needed to switch over from a different telecom carrier. We walked in and was immediately assisted by Daysha. She was very patient, kind, and funny - we felt so happy. She was very good about writing everything on a paper to help you understand the breakdown of the cost you'd be paying for. She did not push us or try to upsell additional services or products, which we appreciated. The staff here is quite knowledgeable, but they do seem to be overworked. There are a lot of people waiting, and very few people behind the desks. When you do finally get to the desk, it seems like miracles take place ...but you have to be able to wait. I think if more people are trained or hired to work at the store, it would be an even greater success, and that is the only reason why I gave them four stars. I had a great experience at this T-mobile store. The screen on my phone went bad and I could only see half the screen which meant that I couldn't text or access most of my app's. My phone was too old to repair so I needed a new phone. Amariyan helped me select a new phone and then he went above and beyond to get the contacts and apps off my old phone was very hard because they weren't backed up on the cloud. Somehow, he was able to do this with only half a screen. He worked with me for over an hour, and I just want to say that Amariyan is amazing and deserves 10 stars! He saved me so much time. It would have taken me forever to enter my contacts into a new phone and I would have lost so much without his help. read more

Having been to this location twice and not resolving any of my issues it was time to write a review. I was hopeful that after receiving so many negative reviews they would have cleaned up their act - not so much. On my first trip, I arrived at 4pm, saw a few people in the store but the doors were locked. After knocking for several minutes, an agent opened the door and said they were not taking any more customers for the day. Seriously? They are supposed to close at 8pm. The second visit their systems were down and the told me to call customer service, they couldn't do anything. Unreal, they are the worst. So long TMobile, over to Verizon or AT&T I go. read more

I've had such a positive experience at this location thanks to Marcus Lowery, the store manager. The extent to which he went above and beyond to help me through an issue I was having with my Samsung device speaks volumes about his character and genuine interest in providing top notch service to his customers. He followed up with me on a frequent basis to provide status updates with regards to what he and his team were doing to resolve my issue which gave me comfort things were moving forward. It would have been easy for him to just let things slip once i left the store, but he set reminders for himself to check in with me in the days that followed. There are at least 3 T Mobile stores closer to me but I go out of my way to get my services here. Every single one that I have worked with are very pleasant and helpful. It's a bigger store so sometimes I have to wait. However, they acknowledge me quickly and get me on the list. Not once I felt to have to get their attention. To get me on the waitlist. T-Mobile has been my cell provider for several years now, and this is my go-to location. I have always had excellent service here. On previous visits, staff have been wonderful with everything from selecting a phone case to explaining different plan options. Everyone I have encountered here has been unfailingly polite, professional, and helpful. Nevertheless, my visit on June 10 raised the bar even higher. I had numerous questions - pretty much everything I had ever visited about in the past rolled into one. I was assisted by a young man who could not have been more helpful. He was patient, kind, and engaging. When I asked his name, I believe he said it was John; when he had me sign some stuff, I think his tablet display said Juan. My husband & I have been Sprint customers for years, but because our experiences with Sprint employees weren't always the best, we began doing business with the Wireless Advocates kiosk at Costco. When Wireless Advocates told us we needed to go to a T-Mobile store directly to switch over from Sprint to T-Mobile, we procrastinated because we weren't looking forward to the experience.  Boy were we pleasantly surprised.  What great customer service we experienced at Store 9700.  We were greeted as soon as we walked in, our name was taken, and every employee when passing by us would apologize for the wait and tell us someone would be with us shortly. Edward, Chris N, John R, Muhammed A, and Daysha couldn't have been nicer, funnier, more entertaining and more helpful.  John R took care of switching us over to T-Mobile, helping us find an appropriate plan, helping us choose new phones, setting up our account and explaining all it's perks and extras, all the while with a smile and a great sense of humor.  What we dreaded actually turned out to be a very positive and entertaining experience.  We're seniors and a bit slow with technology, but John never complained once or made us feel like we were a bother or that any of it was an inconvenience.  He even wrote helpful notes down for us.  We've never had that kind of treatment with Sprint or when we were Verizon customers. I had a complex issue with my phone--none of my Google services were working. I couldn't use the Google Play Store, Chrome or my gmail accounts or any other google services. I took my phone to the T-Mobile Store on PCH and Anza in Torrance. Ed, the store manager tried a few simple to intermediate fixes and restored my phone's ability to make and receive phone calls. However, I still could not access or use any google services. The only solution was to take all the data off my phone, transfer it to another phone, do a factory re-set of my phone, then transfer all of my data, photos and contacts back from the loaner phone to my phone. This took hours! Ed was very patient but he had to close the store as night fell. Ge told me that data would continue to transfer overnight from my phone to the loaner phone and I could come in Sunday morning to have the remaining steps completed. I went back to the store Sunday morning and Chris, a 14-year T-Mobile employee and Winner's Circle Member, restored my phone to its factory settings then took all my data, photos, etc. from the loaner phone and reinstalled it to my phone. Everything now works perfectly! Thank you Ed and Chris. I am so glad I went to this T-Mobile store and I can wholeheartedly endorse it. read more

If I may speak freely here, I think a gulag in Russia has better customer service then this place. The only guy that actually works there is Edward, everyone else acts like they're being forced to work against their will. You would think being a phone service shop it would be the most professional place on earth considering everyone needs and uses a phone, but it is a miracle by Jesus himself that this place is still open on PCH. Damarian should get an award worst employee of the month. You'll notice after 30 seconds of working with him he starts drumming on the desk. Followed by singing and dancing to the music. I work in the car business where I've seen people get angry if there's one Knick on the car, if I actually sang and tapped on the dashboard during a test drive I guarantee I would've been punched in the face by now. If you ask him nicely to stop he'll take it as a threat and challenge you right there in the store. See if I'm wrong....it goes beyond science why he is still there. Also Mina is really lazy on top of it. She will always send you to some other employee rather than help you herself because she is in deep discussion with other employees. Maybe she's talking about the economic policies of Prussia and it might be over my head, but I'd like to think it can wait until after work or when there is not 4 people waiting in queue and she just sends them to other employees. I've tried calling their general customer service line and underlined everything wrong with the store multiple times, but no one listens to a word I say. If you are looking for a T-Mobile store literally go to any other store. If you have to drive to Maine to get to another T-Mobile store then do it because it's a lot better then that clown circus of a store (if you could even call it that). read more

This review is the result of persistent and helpful service rendered by Alex. I had to go into this store because of the incompetent customer service reps from the call center. The issue was rather simple from my perspective, but I suppose it is a challenging task as the problem could not be resolved after 3 phone calls. I needed to change 2 existing personal phone lines into a new business plan while keeping the same numbers. Also, upgrading 1 of the 2 lines. Well, I went to the Pasadena store and was told that this can only be processed via the customer service rep at the call center. The 1st call started the business plan, transferred 1 of the 2 lines and I was charge for data plan for a Blackberry that I don't have. The 2nd call, transferred the 2nd phone line. So, instead of giving me a credit for the data plan that i cannot use because I don't own a Blackberry, I got an upgrade on the data plan! 3rd time is a charm, within 24 hours no less, for the 1st time in this whole process I am informed of a $200 charge for a business plan account. I am surprise that I wasn't charge to speak with a live person! By this point, I decided to visit the store. Alex was helpful and very patient, he made calls on my behalf to fix problems that he had no role in creating. In what felt like an eternity but really was 45 minutes, my phone plan is set back to a number less than my zip code and I finally got the service plan that I was promised from the first call. read more

Spacious, clean, nice service! I went to T-mobile last week to get a new micro sim card to use my boyfriend's handmedown iPhone 4. Both Alex and Trevor were very attentive and super helpful! They were even nice enough to let us know that although the sim card is $20, we can buy something from the store (cell phone accessories such as head phones) that's $20 in order to get the sim card free! Excellent service! Came here with a friend looking to switch phones. The staff was helpful in transferring contacts and photos from one phone to the other while being very knowledgeable when asked questions. Great salesmanship too as they kept promoting the benefits of purchasing a T-Mobile specific phone. The store is very neat and clean with the bright hot pink T-Mobile colors everywhere. Trendy and hip feel. Nice selection of the latest gadgets and accessories from iPhones and Samsung Galaxies to fitbits and Otterbox phone cases. Ok, so I came to this store because I had ordered a nano SIM card online for my HTC One... only to find out that it didn't fit. :( After I got to the store, I think it was the manager who pointed out that I actually have a HTC One M7--which uses a micro SIM--and the HTC One M8 is the model that uses a nano SIM. Janelle was the person at the counter who helped me, and she was really friendly and nice. Unfortunately, she couldn't find my online order in their system, and she had to call customer support for help. The guy on the phone couldn't find my order in the system either, so finally they decided just to cancel my entire order and create a new one instead. It took a little bit of time, but I thought Janelle did a good job and replaced my SIM card at no cost. She even tested my phone in the store by calling the store, and it worked perfectly, so I walked away a happy camper. On the way home, I decided to check into Yelp... and discovered that I had no internet service!! :( I called the store back, and they told me that sometimes it takes 2 hours for the internet service to turn on. Oh, ok. Then I got home and found out I have zero reception at home, although the T-Mobile web site showed excellent coverage for my area. I also took a look at my paperwork and discovered that Janelle had given me the wrong plan, adding $10 to give me 3 GB of data when I had only ordered 1 GB of data online. The wrong data plan issue was remedied by calling customer support the next day, but then tech support confirmed that there was no coverage in my area, and the free Wi-Fi calling wouldn't work unless I had a T-Mobile phone. (I had brought my phone from Switzerland.) So I was stuck and just asked to cancel the service, because it's totally useless to me now. So at least they cancelled my service and told me they would refund all my charges, so that's good. But the whole thing was unfortunately a waste of my time. I wish the T-Mobile web site wouldn't list excellent service if there is no service in my area. read more

I had a really bad experience in this T Mobile! I had an account in Verizon and I did a transition to T Mobile and the sales man Andrew told me that T Mobile would take care about my account in Verizon right away and pay it for me otherwise he didn't do it and Verizon sent my name to credit report . I went there 3 times to solve this issue but was not succeeded. They said that should call me back the next day and nothing so I called several times trying to solve it and he said didn't have time to contact his manager . I had T-Mobile and their service was AWFUL. The worst! Sure their stores have nice STUPID pink lights but the service is PURE GARBAGE. I had dropped calls, poor LTE service. THEN, when I DUMPED T-Mobile for Verizon, I was still billed IN FULL by Garbage T-Mobile and I bet they were hoping that I was stupid and wouldn't question it. However, I filed a credit card dispute with American Express and filed a Better Business Bureau (BBB) complaint against them. If they threaten me with collections, I'll tell the collections agent that they can't collect from me once my credit card has found in my favor (which acts as a court). GO TO HELL T-Mobile with your GARBAGE service. read more

I'm extremely disappointed in my service today. When this location was a Sprint (before the merger) I had incredible service. Now? The employee's attitudes are not great. They are uninterested and rude. It seems like they are so fixated on making us buy a phone to the point where it was overly aggressive and came off as angry and rude. They were unprofessional about explaining what options there were and saying that nothing was in stock. The phone color I wanted was out of stock yet they were pushing me to buy one I didn't want. Seemed like they were just looking for business, which I understand, but at the end of the day I'm there for a device that I am paying a lot of money for and I don't feel like I should be pressured into buying a phone I don't want. I have been a customer there for 7 years and I have owned several phones purchased there but this is a first. I won't be going back. read more
