We recently changed internet providers at our house from Verizon after a power surge blew out whatever hardware they had here and they couldn't get it working again. Our new provider refused to connect the existing Cat5 cable that Verizon had ran between our house and a detached garage. They insisted it would have to be set up as a second line (more $$). Knowing the Cat5 was good, I just needed someone to fix our connections but was also concerned about the cost since many data cable vendors overprice small jobs and this was going to be a small job - just test the line and fix the connections. I posted an inquiry on NextDoor and was referred to Marcus by one of our neighbors. I visited the website and filled out a contact us form (where usually those things go into a black hole for days!) and was happy to get a response within 30 minutes that included a quote and some suggested dates. 21st Century came to the rescue! I had been experiencing multiple problems with my household connectivity over the past six weeks. Another service provider came to my home three weeks ago and made everything worse. I read the reviews on yelp and decided to give 21st Century a call. I got lucky in that an appointment cancelled just before my call and Marcus was able to come over same day. He assessed the situation, tested the existing equipment and consulted me on what potentially he could to do to help. He spent an hour with me and got all my devices, phones, laptops, ipads etc., up and working in a optimized fashion. We have a medium sized business inside a two story building with around 20 employees. Our network was old and setup poorly which caused many problems for us. We had 21st Century come in to install a new network and their work is fantastic. First they came in and went over the whole building to find a solution that worked best for us. Then they laid all new wires and mounted new gear while we still used our old network so that there was no down time. After everything was in place they came in on a weekend when the business was closed to pull out the old system and finish installing the new system so that it was ready to use on Monday. The Difference is amazing and quality of their work is like nothing i have ever seen. We now have an incredibly fast and reliable network that will allow us to expand as much as we need to in the future.
