They sell all sorts of cute stuff that my toddler was into, too. Decent prices for when I need things the same day, and they even have some great sales. Two things I love: their clearance section on the back wall and their teacher supply section in the back right. Both of the associates behind the counter said yes and directed me to the opposite end of the store where the shipping area is at. I waited in line until it was my turn. I drove to this Staples in Torrance specifically to buy some Fuji Film for a holiday gift. Their online inventory showed that this store had 4 boxes in stock, and I called before heading over to confirm that they actually had them. When I was ready to purchase them, I asked the employee about the expiration date on the film. He saw that 2 packs had already expired a month ago. I ended up purchasing 2 unexpired packs. They also price matched Amazon, provided the item is shipped and sold by Amazon. While I was disappointed that I drove over and didn't get what I intended to purchase, the employees in the store were friendly and I found some cute children's face masks to buy. Had a rushed, chaotic morning to get documents copied for my doctor. Had chemo that morning and could not take pain meds because I was driving. Was in pain and not clear-headed, Tried the self-serve and had difficulties, even when Jason, an employee, was assisting me; one was my error. I was so frustrated. Jason saw how aggravated and upset I was. Self-serve is 0.33/page, counter price is $1 per page. Jason copied all of my documents for me, put the copies in nicely labeled boxes, and charged me the self-serve price. He did not charge me for the mistakes I had made. I hope this does not get him in trouble for doing so. He did the right thing as an exemplary employee. He went above and beyond. I was able to deliver the copies to the doctor on time, and the rest of my day was a breeze, thanks to Jason. Kudos to Jason! An asset to the company! If it were in my power, I'd give him a raise and a month off with pay. His assistance, knowledge, empathy, and compassion are immeasurable. He is what customer service is all about and saved the day! I had a project that I had been working on every day for six months, and was finally ready to take to print today. Chris was WONDERFUL with helping me. He was patient, kind, and made the stress of all of this work fall by the wayside. He problem solved any issues that we had with my file, and invested his talents and skills into making sure that it was perfect AND ready same day. I went in for copies and at first, the copy machine got jammed and the attendant tried to help but wasn't successful. They were already down 1 copy machine. The one left was being used but I waited and began my copies. The darn thing jammed again but happy to see that Daryl was nearby and helped me. Thank you Daryl for saving the day. I wanted to recognize an excellent employee in Darryl at the Staples on the corner of Crenshaw and PCH. I ordered an expensive office chair with assembly added. When I went to pick the chair up, it did not look right and Darryl agreed that something was off and that it should be perfect. He told me he would build a new one for me that I could pick up the next day. Not only did this new chair look perfect, but he offered to help me get it to my car and carried it so it wouldn't scratch the wheels. Went to the register, paid in cash, the cashier (who seemed to be management), asked "what's this green stuff?" I thought he was joking until he shortchanged me. I had to walk him through basic math before he gave me correct change. Is it too much to ask that a business train it's employees how to make correct change? I wanted to give a positive shout out to Staples on the corner of PCH and Crenshaw. I purchased an office chair that needed to be put together. I wasn't ready for it yet so it sat in the box in my garage for a bit over a month. Once I put it together I realized the chair was too large for my frame and the adjustments for the arms couldn't be adjusted enough. Although it was beyond the normal return time frame, Staples asked me to return the assembled chair (without taking it apart) and gave me a full cash refund. Like many of the chain-type stores, every Staples is pretty much the same. They all offer the same kind of office, shipping, printing, and computer supplies. This one is no different. As this one is the store closest to me, this is the Staples that I most commonly frequent. No better, no worse than the many other Staples I have shopped at. This Staples is located on PCH right off of Crenshaw so it is easy to get to. The parking lot, however, is not that great. To park in front of the store you have to grab one of the spots down the relatively narrow, multi-direction throughway. As there are other shops and businesses in this strip mall, sometimes this can become a problem due to the poor driving skills of others. My suggestion, go park in the larger section of the lot, down at the end, located by Wienerschnitzel. The in and the out is much easier over there. The staff at this shop, like all the other Staples I have visited, pretty much comes and go. But, from my experience, they have all done their job fairly well. Staples supplies what it supplies. This Staples is a good business to go to when your Staple-like stuff. read more

The store associates greeted me as i walked in and asked what i was looking for, I asked to speak to the manager because it was regarding a price adjustment. We went in to copy some documents to an SD card. An older woman at the Copy Center wanted to charge me 50% more because I was using an SD card... She said, "USB is the preferred method." Poor customer service. Went in and walked straight to the copy/print center. There was nobody there so I waited about 5 minutes then went to the registers and asked for some help. The woman working was very nice and paged over her earpiece that "a customer would like some help at the copy/print" center. The guy behind the copy desk takes his time a bit and has a slightly hipster/condescending attitude at times. After a terrible experience at the staples on Hawthorne blvd, I came into this staples and called in to make sure they can scan my large document, I was quoted the price by Alejandra who was more that accommodating. She told me they were a bit busy with customers but to leave my cell phone number and she'll call me when they aren't busy to let me know I can come in. She gave me a call promptly and when I got there everything went smoothly, I was quoted a price at fed ex office/Kinko's at 8$ per page, I paid only 2$ per page at this staples which was great! I've not had a reason to go to Staples for a while, but recently directed to go and pick up a computer quickly. The staff here is pretty bad. I was inquiring about a device and the store clerk directed me to another clerk who directed me back to the first clerk who then attempted to help, but eventually asked his supervisor for help. I had to wait near ten minutes for the "supervisor" to come help me. So if you really need questions answered, go to Best Buy or Frys, or attempt another Staples location. The supervisor there is this super pale looking guy who basically yelled at me when I had a question he couldn't answer. I get that you have bad days, but OMG what a bad experience I had!
