I went without a bag right before closing and someone was kind enough to give me a paper bag to bring in my shreddable. Mine busted inside my car and I had no way to bring it in for weighing/payment. The two shreddable bins were overfilled and the store was readying to close. But the employees were kind and patient with me trying to shove as much as I can into the bins. They could have simply said they can't help or I take my things elsewhere for shredding. The value of shredding documents here is decent too. I asked the workers which UPS stores offer binding. The worker said she cannot access that information because the stores are franchised and not connected. Then, I asked for the phone number to the nearest UPS store. As she was laughing, she said "we can't access that." In response to her tone, I said "you can't Google it?" to which she said no. A family member is on a limited budget, but wanted to send a special gift to another family member many states away. The gift was awkwardly shaped, and the staff were extremely conscientious in taking precise measurements to find the most efficient box to use. Despite this diligence, the dimensions still left a lot of empty space, and shipping charges were significantly more expensive due to the awkward length of the gift. After extensive consultation, the team found a way to reduce the shipping charge by $20 by agreeing to create a customized package using two separate boxes. Of course, such a customized service increased the materials price, leaving the cost approximately the same, but they were willing to waive the added charge for their expertise and materials. I was left humbled by their care. I first started using this location annually for my holiday shipping over 20 years ago due to the customized care I received. The staff has changed, but the care has not. This UPS Store is so close to my house, but I don't think I'll go here again. The two men that are usually there are so rude and unfriendly. They don't say hello, don't say thank you, don't say anything at all. There is one younger guy with longer hair that is helpful, but the other two have no idea of how to treat people, let alone a customer. All I ask is that they respond when I walk up to their counter and say hello. They print out my receipt, hand it to me, and that's it. No communication skills. I used to love this UPS store and would go there for all my needs, but now I feel uncomfortable going there. I liked the old owners or old workers there they were so nice & friendly. Now it's weird. I gave them multiple chances and thought I was imagining things, but 2-3 more times I went in same thing. I don't know the name of one of the female workers there, but I walked in and she looked at me then looked at her co worker which was a male and she starts laughing and he giggles very immature and the other 2xs they don't even greet you or smile or anything and just act plain weird! Like you can feel the awkwardness of the room. The Indian girl she's nice she always says "welcome" or " thank you" I'm not there to make friends and I'm not there to converse, but geesh have some manners or take a customer service training class or something. The guys at the front counter are always so pleasant! I have a PO box here for a family member that lives in a retirement community. I went in to renew our box and it is not cheap. They give such great service though. If a package comes in or if he box is up for renewal, they will send me an email to remind me. We live in a gated community and UPS has been notorious at claiming "we have attempted to deliver your package, blah blah blah but, will try again the next business day." When it is UPS related orders, my hubby opts to have it delivered to this UPS Store and the guys do an excellent job of keeping the packages there until ready for pickup. I walked in with my crutches and the guy who is the lead person empathetically asked "Oh no, what happened? the last time you were here you were so healthy..." He has a great memory because I think I haven't seen him in a few months. This UPS store is in a very busy shopping center that has K Food Mall, Bruster's Ice Cream next door, Subway across the way, Seiko, and other businesses close by. Parking can get pretty tight but, we always find a good spot. I've been here at different times during the day. It seems mornings are busy but they get the lines moving. Late afternoon week days have mostly been with no lines. They also have Sunday hours. Another thing we've done here is return cable TV equipment and saves us the hassle of going to a cable provider store. Love that this location is open on Sunday. Yes! SUNDAY!!! It makes it super convenient. I've been here multiple times and the customer service has been good each time. Sometimes I've been here when there was a line and sometimes when there wasn't. When there is a line, it moves fast and is run efficiently. When there isn't a line, I'm always helped right away. I typically will use UPS with prepaid returns or when I have to ship out shoes that's I'm selling through GOAT or stockx. I've never had an issue with them and I'm usually in and out in less than 5 minutes. If you have a prepaid label, they're pretty quick with scanning it and giving you a receipt without prompting. The guys working there are pretty friendly and cordial. Occasionally, there will be a longer line, but it goes by pretty fast. This store was sold, and unlike the previous owner, who kept a super clean store, had employees who were efficient and customer service focused, the store is now dirty, there are lines out the door, the workers have no sense of organization. I am thankful that new UPS stores have opened in the area and I have more choices. I used to be able to get in and out of the store in a matter of a couple minutes, now it can take up to 30 mins just to drop off a prelabeled package. It's such a shame, I'm sure I am not one of the only long standing customers to find a new store. read more

He should've known to go to the barcode and scan it for a return to this company, but instead, he said he wanted to charge me for printing a label and also for bagging the item. I have been coming to this UPS store for many many years. Even more frequently since I have been working for a company that requires me to process returned items. I was unaware of Amazon's new policy regarding requiring packaging for items. In the past I have never brought packaging with my returns. This is 100% my fault for not realizing packaging was required. I asked if they had any used boxes or anything they could do to help me out. The gentleman I was working with, Taz, offered to package the items for me even though I could not pay for them since I will not be reimbursed by my company. Once they are packaged and processed before giving me my receipt he said 'what will you do for me for this courtesy' I replied with 'excuse me, what?' They he said 'well I just did this for free, what can you give me?' This interaction made me feel disgusting. He requested a review after further inquiry before handing me my receipt, so here I am giving a review. Before today I would have happily given them 5 stars because everyone there has always been kind and respectful. After todays experience I am saddened to give a below par review because of one very forward employee. UPS, thank you for the assistance in getting my packages processed. Yesterday, went at 5pm to drop a package off and two workers were standing outside on smoke break while a long line developed. Only one worker was handling customers. The two workers didn't have the common sense or decency to go back to work until one other customer told them to end their smoke break and get back to work. Poor customer service. Tue staff are nice and they try to accommodate everyone, also working if needed to shorten the long line of customers waiting. The problem is with their pick up/delivery guy, who was picking up all the boxes of their customers at the time. He was almost throwing them or dropping them while piling, without a care as to whether the contents are fragile or not. It was disturbing because even when he can put it gently, he'd purposely place one box on top of the other with force. I was thinking that it might be what they do to check for any hazardous or dangerous items but I realized that they actually ask it upon checking in and my guess is they separate those items. However, if that's the case, I don't think the right procedure. Those boxes I saw don't seem to be dangerous but could definitely have something breakable inside. I sent two fishing reels for service to Pennsylvania and when the manufacturer received the box it was empty and tapped back up. The UPS store listed it as fishing reels when I mentioned for them to just list sporting goods. Now it's such a huge hassle to try and get my money back as it has been in investigation mode for over 6 months. They sure try and make people give up on claiming their insurance they paid for. Later that day, I realized my mistake of neglecting to add certain required information to my documents, so I returned to get the modified documents notarized once more. Guys recognized me and redid them for no charge, which I thought was very honorable. After much insisting on my part, I was able to get them to settle for a discounted rate. I sent a package for 2 day delivery. After 5 days, the package was still not delivered, and when I called the store they told me it was lost. A claim was opened but after 20 days I still had not heard from anyone regarding the status of the claim. I contacted Corporate and they said they were waiting for the store to complete the forms they emailed to them 15 days ago. I called the store and asked the speak to the owner or manager and was told they don't speak English so I could be speak to anyone. After 44 days I still have not received a refund or update from the store. They people are so incompetent and should not be running a store! read more
