I'm writing this review as this store is about to go out of business. On the front of the store they now have a sign stating that this location will be closing on May 8. That's sad really, because I've been coming to this location for well over twenty years. Pretty much since they opened. Overall, this Staples has always been a great location to get what Staples offers. They have always had all of the business supplies, computers, monitors, desks, pens, you name it -- pretty much anything business related you wanted, they always had it. The staff here have always been super nice, and they've always been very helpful with anything that I needed. It's kind of funny, really, that I never wrote a review about this location in the past. Though, as stated, I've been coming here for so many years. Overall, this location will be missed. read more

Not just office supplies. I completed my TSA pre check here. Weekday appointment was easy without any wait. I also recycle old cords, ink cartridges, and batteries here to get rewards points monthly. Occasionally, the employee at the counter has attitude and states the bin is full and will reject your items. Amazon returns are accepted but must be small items that fit in a small mail bag. read more

I came into Staples to return an Amazon package and was treated with blatant rudeness. The moment the employee saw it was an Amazon return, his attitude completely changed. I was standing in line, clearly waiting my turn, and instead of acknowledging me, he ignored me and took another customer who walked up after me. No apology. No acknowledgment. Just dismissive behavior and poor customer service. If Staples is going to offer Amazon returns, their employees should be trained to treat those customers with the same respect as everyone else. Five stars for the guy who did end up helping us!! Speedy and professional. We came in and it wasnt that busy but there was 1 cashier and 1 shipping employee. At first we were in the shipping line then realized the amazon return was on the other side so we went there. No one came to help or acknowledged us. There was no buzzer to call. The only reason we received help is because someone came from the back. A woman had been in line at shipping and the employee guided her over to the amazon side but he wasnt the one who assisted us. I found what I'm looking for at Staples. The place is clean and neat of course and female cashiers are kind and good.

This is probably the worst customer experience I've had. I came to do an Amazon return. First almost none of the employees acknowledge customers when they come in and a manager does not care to help rectify issues. I came in for an Amazon return and one of my items was denied due to size, I explained to the representative that Amazon gave me this location as one of the spots to do the return and provided her an example that I had to go to another location for another item. That was the same, but her response was they can't take an item that doesn't fit in a bag because it takes the whole box. No offense, I can care less if my item takes the whole box if Amazon allows me to do a return item at your location you should accept it. I went through the process, are printing out labels for that item and adjusting my return and had to get back in line. No one acknowledged me at all. There was an employee by the name of Renee who looked at me multiple times and did not acknowledge me. Did not even share that somebody will be right with me. Something that should've taken me maybe 5 to 10 minutes. Took me 30 minutes. It wasn't until an employee by the name of PHILIPPE saw me and actually helped me out. The manager should do a better job at making sure their customers are taken care of. I will not be returning to this location for any of my services. read more

There were not any computer printer ink refills on the wall racks. I waited in the check out line to ask if there was somewhere else I could find them. Cashier: 1867764 (I didn't get her name) went into a storage room and found a box of the correct ink refills for me. That was so kind of her. read more

I had excellent service as I needed a landscaped binder put together with my music sheets. Askar put it together quickly and surprised it was done so I expensively, under $8. Later I discovered I had missed some pages and returned. Askar quickly took it apart and inserted the new pages. Then he said no charge as it was only a few pages. I don't think I have ever felt the need for writing a review for a stationary supply store but that changed a couple of days ago. A neice of mine passed and I was asked if I could provide blown up photos for her memorial. I went to the print shop at my local staples and there is a young man there by the name of Mustafa who took care of me. Amazing with customer service and delivering great quality poster board photos the same day. The memorial would not have been the same without them. Thank you! read more

I called this location to see if they had any of the Xbox Series X at the clearance price of $299 that I've seen at other staples stores. They told me they had one left and said they would hold it for me, when I arrived, the manager Andrew said the price is actually $449. I was disappointed and explained the price I was hoping for and he just said "no that's a different model. Do you still want it or not?" I said no since I can get that price anywhere else. He simply walks away with no consideration for the fact that they misled me to believe that they had the product I wanted at the price I wanted. I wasted time and fuel for nothing and he did not even apologize for the misunderstanding. This person Andrew is not management material and this is the second time I've had this kind of experience at this specific Staples. I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

Every time I go in to Staples they have knowledgeable employees who help me with all my needs. They are also going to print my Christmas cards and provide envelopes. I always get great customer service. They don't mind coming out from behind the counter to walk me through printing step by step, helping me find something in an isle, etc. read more

She helped me, but also sent me to the wrong area and walked away so I went to the manager. Staff was unquestionably great with dealing with a customer retuning an Amazon order who was not prepared to return anything and not aware people were behind her. Police had to be called to get her to leave/arguing with other customers. She wouldn't leave and said they were neglecting her helping me out since I had my QR code and package out. Horrible experience in the printing department. I just needed to print one page on card stock. The woman working there proceeds to say she can't print ONE page at that time and pick up would have to be hours later due to a "queue" (the printers weren't even running any jobs at the time). There was no line in the printing department when I got there and the store was pretty empty in general. The page could have been printed in the time she spent explaining her ridiculous reasoning. I've never had that happen at any Staples location. Very odd. read more

I just shipped a bunch of family items at the Printing & Marketing Center and I was blown away by the terrific service. Brittney was a total pro who figured out how to ship my items in ways that reduced shipping charges and she packed them very carefully. Omg this place is amazing they are very accommodating friendly very professional and the place is very well kept. There was a supervisor helped me find an ink toner for my printer the best deal. Usually other places want to sell you the most expensive items. This is the worst of the worst Staples stores. Unfortunately it's the closest one to me. But I'll never set foot inside there again. Typically no one to help find anything in the store and rude employees. Today I went back with a defective product bearing the Staples logo. Their own product. I had no receipt but know I paid at least $25 for it. They offered me 50¢ for it. Not worth arguing, I got a replacement item, stood in line again, and when it was my turn asked for 50¢ off. They said I needed to show ID (which was in my car). This was about 50¢ off a $28 product. They should have discounted it due to the defective item I returned. I was not going to walk across the parking lot to get my ID. They lost a sale and a customer. read more

I came here today to buy a new toner cartridge for my printer. I went straight for the ink section, and found the cartridge with no problem. I browsed the store to see other office supplies I may need. I got to the counter, and the line was short. The cashier was friendly, and helpful. She advised me to recycle my old cartridge to earn more points on my Staples account. So I'll stop by here tomorrow to do so. Everything here seems priced just about right, and they have just about anything I may need when restocking office supplies in the future. No fuss, just straightforward customer service. read more

Booked a TSA appointment and upon arriving I was told the single person in the entire store that can process these was out sick. I can understand that people get sick, especially in todays COVID environment. But what I don't understand or accept is that a simple phone to cancel the appointment wasn't made. Additionally, they tone and delivery used to let me know was inappropriate. Sort of, we'll there out sick, you can come back later! When? I don't know, like next week, they might take you in as a walk in. Nothing like great customer service for a fail business model. Staples is a great store for office supplies, art supplies , office furniture, tablets, computers, and back to school:) I buy Bic Round Stic balled point pens or Bic Cristal or papermate from here in bulk especially the box of 50-60 that you see in offices and restaurants they also get them from here too:) It's great to be able to see the products in person then from an image online like Amazon and E- Bay that sometimes they send you wrong product or wrong color of pen. read more

I headed over to the Staples' Print Center for guidance. Bianca came up with an excellent idea and assisted my printing needs. She provided a creative solution - in a timely fashion. Probably the worst staples store ever. Submitted rush order for some bussines cards yesterday. Called today to see if they can be ready by 4pm. First I have been told I need to submit a "rushed order", so I had to go back cancel the current order just to find out there is nothing like a "rushed order" but just same day pick up. So I did it again (they had the same order int he first place), and called to confirm they recevided it. Asked if it can be done by 4pm latest. I have been told they will call me and it can be done by 4pm. 2:30 I call order is still not processed and they will call me when ready and are not sure when this will be, they will try by 4. Well guess what same day order should not take 2 days and on top of it they were super happy to cancel it. Culd have gone to FedEx and it would have been done within a few hours. Btw do not evwn try to call, 20 min hold time is the norm. read more

Came into this store to try and pick up a laptop that was on sale plugged by fatwallet. Already knew I was gambling trying to get it instore with my $50 in-store coupon, but I thought I'd give it a shot. Low and behold; the Torrance store has 4. I ask about it, as there isn't one on display and the mgr said that one got sent back because it had damage, 2 were already damaged, one was being set up for the display. He said he couldn't sell me the display because people needed to see it to buy it...Um, I just saw it online and came in, I didn't need to see it in the store. I thought it was pretty lame for me to not be able to buy the display. The mgr said the MIGHT get more in on Saturday. What's the point of having a unit on sale that you don't even have in stock? Locale is convenient, parking is spacious, but sorry, but I was really disappointed with the service and the explanations I was given.
