I rarely come to Staples since i usually get my stuff from Office Depot, although I did get my lap top from this one a few years ago and i come here if i can't find stuff at Office Depot that i need. This place does have good sales like Office Depot i came here for the 100 pack of Sony CD-Rs that was on sale this location is a little smaller so you should be able to find what you are looking for. Lot of workers but they seem to always be busy unless you interrupt them or flag them down to help you. In my experiences here and Office Depot's customer service is not that great seems like they don't train these people to interact with customers unless you initiate it. This store is POORLY RUN by a manager named RAY SABADO. He sold me an opened/damaged boxed item (hard drive) and when I discovered it after getting back at my office and called back to complain he said "we don't sell open boxes." RAY SABADO is a poor excuse for management because I don't know why he would fight my complaint and request to exchange. I simply can go online and request a return without hassle at STAPLES. I did. I came to believe this procedure is RAY SABADO's mode operandi to get rid of damaged opened items. I suppose he figures you purchase it in the store, get home or back at your office and discover it, then its late and inconvenient to return and then SABADO can simply say "we don't sell opened items." This smells of dishonesty, sleaze - shame on Staples for training this. Now I must go through the exchange process and return to his store and during the CORONA VIRUS pandemic which can be life threatening. Again I don't know why he would refuse to readily accept a return of an opened/damaged box. I simply went online, formally complained about him and requested a return from STAPLES for a opened/damaged product that RAY SABADO sold me. What a dummy. They Sold me a defective computer desk, and didn't even help me while i was in the store to find a desk. One of the workers saw me in the store and walked the other way when I made eye contact with her for help. When i finally made it to the register for purchase, the young lady at the register jokingly told me that they "don't sale defective items to customers" after i inquired about the box having a hole in it, but when i got home to open the box, "some of the screws were broken, and in a ziplock bag". I am a photographer with Soon Photography and I was in need of some USB drives. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door by Aaron and he inquired if I needed help looking for anything. Not only did he take me to the product he stayed with me and helped me make my decision. I brought in an $85 loose leaf textbook that needed spiral binding. It originally had 3 hole punches. They told me they would need to cut from the edges a bit to make holes for the new spirals. I left my textbook there and a few minutes later got a call that the holes were cutting through the letters. I appreciated the call and asked them to stop punching the holes. I went the next day to pick it up and when I got home I noticed that when they cut the pages they cut through MANY letters! Why wouldn't you test it out before cutting 500 pages? I can't even put it in a binder because they cut off the 3 holes on every page. 2 stars instead of 1 because I actually liked the woman who was helping me. She was kind and tried her best to save my textbook, I just don't think she was properly trained. read more

Sadly, this store has earned its low rating. I was going to send in a large copy job, but the person who I spoke to on the phone had no idea when it would get done. They were busy (but weren't when I arrived.) I was in a bit of a rush so I decided to go in and do it myself. I asked the girl at the copy area a question and she was rude with attitude. Fine. While doing the large job, I ran out of paper. I had to wait an extended time for help and when the guy finally came over to the copiers he helped the people who just walked up, not me. Of course the machine checked me out, mid job. I was annoyed, but waited. I told him it was out of paper, he opened the paper drawer and says "well that's the problem, you're out of paper." Hmm, you don't say. While I'm back to copying, the rude copy counter girl got into a verbal confrontation with a customer who wasn't having it, and said she'd have her relocated to another store. Suddenly, rude copy girl checked her attitude and apologized. Too little too late because the customer was still mad. Sometimes you just can't unring that bell. So, if it's slow and crappy service you're looking for, this is the place for you. read more

I called in before I came to the staples and asked if they could scan some blue prints for me, they said they could. I even asked them to check again and I told them the size of the paper. They said yes they can. I came in and dropped it off, they told me they didn't know how to do it, but the person who did know how to scan a large blue print would be in later that day. I came in later that day and that person didn't know how to scan it either, Why couldn't you guys just tell me you didn't know how to do it? Instead of me wasting my time coming there twice.. I was just about to purchase a product on clearance and i needed their assistance since it was too big to put it in my car . Let me get this off first - Anyone thinking of getting their Phone / Tablet cracked screen repaired here - PLEASE DO NOT! My wife's iPhone 6 had a fall and the screen was cracked on the lower end side of the phone. The display was fine - everything was working ship shape, but the phone had ungainly screen cracks at the bottom. While visiting Staples for a purchase she saw an advert for screen repair for $109 and decided to get it repaired. During repair, something went wrong and the store reps apologized profusely for "inconvenience" and mentioned they'd have to ship phone to somewhere to get corrected and it would take three working days for turnaround. My wife calls me and we then I ask if they gave loaner phones - to which they replied no. I asked them what was wrong with the phone, and they mentioned it had some issues with flickering now. Since it was Friday, we decided to give the phone on Monday so that she could have her phone back by the Thursday. We kept the phone as it is for the weekend and noticed a few things like - sudden and inadvertent screen responses (while she was on call, the call goes on facetime, or goes on mute automatically) and issues with screen blinking and blacking out. The phone was essentially very unstable and useless now. Before that, the everything was absolutely fine. Anyways we decide to give the phone and monday and hoped everything would be remedied. Well - the three days turned into 6 business days and we got our phone back only on Wednesday next week (This was last week - prior to 4th July weekend). The phone is essentially the SAME! It still has the SAME issues that we had before we gave the phone 6-7 days back! They did give something like a 1 year warranty on repair, but I really am not sure if we can keep on giving them the phone and expecting it to come back after couple of weeks. She absolutely hates the phone now and truly regrets going into Staples that day. We will be going today evening to speak to them, but I am really unsure what BS they will dish out. Now, at this juncture we really just want a replacement (even if its refurbished) phone which can be same spec. Lesson learned the hard way - use Apple store for any iPhone repairs. Their (Apple's) customer service has been exemplary (at least to us!) and I am sure they would have gotten us a replacement phone instead of having us running around for days and days. TL;DR - Wifey went into Staples for screen replacement for an otherwise perfectly functional iPhone, came back with severe touchscreen issues. Staples had her iPhone shipped to repair but it came back (after quite a bit of delay) with the SAME issues. Next Steps - will go tonight and see what they say - will report back here. Not Happy. This is my first time rating shops, I give minus 5 point. Casher girl was so rude. I found mistake on a receipt after shopping there, the cashier scanned one item twice. I went back to the same cashier girl, told there's a mistake, she didn't admit first, as soon as she found the mistake she started chatting with another girl as if she is ignoring me, they were chatting, laughing, doing like school volunteer work.., no apologetic at all. read more

In general I really like this store. And in general I really like the Staples store warranty on electronics. HOWEVER... When you buy the warranty, you are NOT necessarily buying the full 1-year coverage, 2-year coverage, etc. Instead you are buying the option to get it replaced ONCE if that's what need be. I returned my HP OfficeJet 4620 when it broke 10 months after I bought it along with a 1-year Staples warranty. I returned it, they replaced it, etc. However that was the END of my service plan. In my mind, I should have 2 months left in case something goes wrong with this one. Or, IF I had bought the 2-year warranty, I would feel that I should have 14 months left of coverage left. However that is not the case. I wanted continued coverage, so I bought a NEW warranty for an extra $18. That doesn't seem fair to me. I thought I was buying a fixed term of coverage. If you buy a car with a 10-year warranty, and the same thing breaks twice in that 10 years, they have to fix it twice! Not here... So it's not a TRUE 1-year, 2-year, etc. term. Other than that, the store is great and the staff is helpful. read more

Wish I had read the reviews here regarding the printing center prior to placing an order. Management was very helpful finding the items necessary for the binders I needed assembled in a very timely manner due to shipping necessities. Dropped off items at 11:30 with a guarantee they would be done at 12:30, long story short the time line kept getting longer and longer which ultimately completely threw off my timing for submitting my binders for shipping. Binders weren't ready until very late afternoon/evening. Lesson learned, I will take my printing business to other services which come through with their word and will limit my purchases at Staples for items I can attain immediately. I literally stopped by couple stores for graphic design they were outrageously expensive and couldn't get it done on time. It was last minute and in very short time I was able to get 1000 business with the quickness(2/3 hours) plus some simple graphics. OPIE helped me, and thanks to him I was able to save a lot of money, time, but most importantly he saved my day. This rating is for the Copy Center workers. They are always very helpful and willing to work with you when dropping off your copy items. I had a very large order for my classroom and I dealt with several Copy Center workers who were all extremely friendly and helpful. The male worker even loaded my order, which consisted of 5 large boxes, into my car for me. A week later, I got a thank you card with a coupon in the mail from the manager for my large purchase. Kudos for the Copy Center employees! FYI, they have a "Business" Staples Rewards, which gives you 10% off on all of your copy orders. I think you have to spend $1000 per year though. read more

I love going to this Staples to get school supplies. Now days the teachers want you to bring more than just paper pens and pencils. Teachers want you to bring hand wipes, antibacterial wipes, Kleenex along with special rulers, and graph paper. This staples has it all!!! The staff is very friendly and helped me find some of the items on the back to school list that I was looking for and at check out they gave me discounts for uniforms at JC Penney, and $5 off of my purchase, the cashier was nice and saw I had a lot of items and requested another cashier open to help other guests. I also didn't have to bring in my recycle bags which I had forgot in the car, she told me I didn't have to pay for bags, which I wish more companies would do if you spend a large amount of money or have a ton of things. Worst customer service i have ever received! Went in here to get color copies at 99 cents per page and got 14 copies. Two presentation folders at $4 each. I had to bring one more folder because one of the two was dirty. Went to checkout and this guy specifically asked if i am getting 3 folders and i told him no, only two i am buying and he can return one that is dirty. After all this was done and when i got to LA area, i found it odd that i was charged more than $28. When i checked the receipt that monkey charged me for three folders. Even right after he asked if i am getting all three folders, and I specifically told him "no" right before he added up my bill. These incompetant brainless monkeys (even monkeys can count to 3 with training) cannot even count, 1, 2, 3. I called the store and told them this and all I got was that I need to come into the store to get money back. They want me to drive 30 miles to get $5 back? Three times I went to this store this week. I was going to purchase a computer and other equipment. Three times I approached a sales representative for help. Three times they said they would find somebody from the computer department to help me. Three times I waited 15 to 20 minutes without anybody ever coming to assist me. The only reason I went to the store three times is because I have a gift debit card that is only good for specific stores with Staples being one of the stores. This store was suppose to be sponsoring an event but it did not happen, I showed up and no one knew anything about and the uninterested front desk girl acted as if I was bothering her to get info on the event. She said she did not know anything about and did not offer to call someone in the store that might have known about it. I asked her to call another store to see if they were having the event or knew anything about it and she hesitated to do so. Her lack of customer service skills was upsetting to me as a staples customer. Wrote in to corporate who acted as if this incident could be isolated and said they would talk to management in the store about the way I was treated, but based on some of the other complaints and reviews nothing has changed and customer are still be ignored.
