This is pretty small Verizon store, however it's probably the busiest store I've been in to get a phone. I was helped by Criss, Allen, and Obed. My husband and I were in the store for a long time but we had a complicated situation. Anyway the staff was so helpful, dedicated, and helped get everything straightened out. My only criticism is the outsourced customer service that apparently in the Philippines; that was a nightmare for us all, Verizon store staff as well. Overall my husband would rather go to the dentist than a phone store and car dealership. He said that he's NEVER had his phone transferred so easily and has no issues!!! This location for the win!!! Service was horrid. It seems like the main girl is always just hiding in the back and the male workers hate their job. They try to trick you into upgrading services, etc without being completely transparent about what you are getting into. They act like it's the only way to upgrade. We've been in here a few times, and it's not even the wait times that bug us (even tho it can be hours) but it's the attitude of the staff. Hope this helps! Also! This place is insane... I went in because I had one Internet box and wanted one additional Internet box; I ended up with five Internet boxes and a new phone, which I specifically had said multiple times on numerous separate occasions I did not want. It would be comical except I've had to spend 10+ hours over the course of 6 days either in store or on the phone with Verizon dealing with all of the problems this one store has caused me, including them disconnecting my actual phone so I couldn't use it for a day and a half. I would say this place is a joke, but even that seems too dignified for all of the mishaps. The issues are still not fully resolved, and I've yet to receive any sort of apology for the incredible amount of work they have created for me. And to top it all off, the most recent development is so hilariously reflective of how absolutely idiotic this entire experience has been, it is actually embarrassing. It's honestly pathetic that they don't even have the basic knowledge of their own services and have somehow put me through all of this chaos because of it. read more

They were so flexible with their time, we had to stay past closing because our phones were taking long to process and they were so sweet and reassuring. This is the worst store I have ever been to! They cannot do simple refunds on an order if you buy something and want to return it. I upgraded and ordered an iPhone 15 Pro Max on Verizon's website and had the option to pick it up at this location. It was a free upgrade if you trade in your old phone with a 2 year contract. On 12/8 I pick it up, but decided I didn't want to keep it, so I returned it on 12/11 since there is a 30 day refund option. The store said I will get a full refund minus a $50 re-stocking fee. I assumed this was a done deal, but the store never completed the refund! On my next billing cycle it shows that I still have the phone and I didn't send in my current trade in phone, so Verizon bills me the full price for the phone. I return to the store in early January to get this settled, they said they will follow through and the refund will be applied in a couple days, but it never happens. I return to the store again and get sent on a wild goose chase trying to locate the manager that handles the PCH location and the Hawthorne Blvd location. I must of visited these 2 stores 6-8 times, not to mention calling Verizon's 611 and being on the phone for an average of 1-2 hours each phone call trying to just get a simple refund. I would've just called them so I don't waste my time driving to the stores, but when you call the store directly the call gets sent to a Verizon customer service center, not the actual store. I filed an incident report on 1/11 with Cam, the assistant manager. She said she will follow up as it will take a few business days for the refund to apply. The refund never happens and she never calls me back. I visit the store again a few days later and spoke with manager Esmeralda. She said it is out of their hands and I need to speak with Verizon 611 order support in order to resolve the refund issue. So I call 611 order support (for 2.5hrs), escalated the issue to a Verizon complaint manager, they called the store to sort out the issue. They told the store they are obligated to resolve issue since they accepted the phone for refund AND collected a re-stocking fee of $50. Esmeralda the manager finally work on it and my refund finally comes on 1/29. It should not take 2 months and 6-8 visits to a store (and hours on several phone calls) to get a refund when returning a product! Any other store will refund you instantly or within a day when you return a product. I should have known since this is a 3rd party store of Verizon and is independently owned/managed. I will never return to this store again! read more

They told me to come by in 10 minutes & it would be ready but I said I needed an hour and showed up an hour later. I get here and they won't give me my phone. They tried to get me to cancel my order and buy through them when my stuff was already paid for and set up. I called 611 in front of them and the guy tells me my phone is ready and they have to give it to me but won't. They did the same thing to the guy behind me. Scammers! read more

Was having difficulty transferring data from my old to new phone due to a software issue. Julian was absolutely outstanding. He was so patient and understanding and quickly recognized the issue and worked it. Despite him being the only customer support and technician as other customers came in he was able to pleasantly greet everyone as they came through the door and was able to multi task and help everyone with limited waiting. He also looked at my current plan and offered information that would benefit our family plan. He was successful in completing the transfer. I am leaving as a very satisfied customer. Wish I had read the reviews about this place before placing an order for pickup. I ordered a phone through Verizon online and had it shipped to this location. Received email verification stating my phone was ready. I went to the store at about 5:45 and was told by the rep it will take about 10 minutes for the safe to open. A couple of minutes later, he said that since his shift will be ending, the other rep will be helping me after she finished with her client. Waited about 45 minutes. Finally I asked her if I could just pick up my phone. Was told (again) that she had to open the safe which will take about 10 minutes. About 20 minutes later, I ask her again and she goes to the back. Comes back and tells me that Verizon canceled my order because the phone was held at this location over 3 days!! I ordered the phone 2 days before, I got the email notification on that day saying it was ready so the 3 days is an impossibility. She just said "sorry" (but not sorry) and that I should call *611 to resolve. I call 611 and they say that the phone should be there and that this store/rep had no reason not to give me the phone. The online rep just told me to go to the Hawthorne corporate store to resolve. I go to the Hawthorne store the next day and they told me that this store canceled my order and that I had to reorder the phone! Unbelievable - this lady just had no interest in doing her job and apparently was in a bad mood so she canceled my order and even turned away 2 other customers behind me saying that because she was working alone, she would not be able to get to them so they should make appointments to come back the next day. Mind you, there was still an hour before close. All in all, spent an hour+ at this location simply to have this person intentionally and without reason, cancel my order. read more

This store is in the business for quick sales, but not longterm customers. I upgraded two phones here and both times they tried to sell me all kinds of things, For example pure gear protector screen. I paid 65 dollars for it, but they promised it had warranty so I thought it would be worth it. It cracked within 2 months. Back to the store... the told me I have to fill out the forms online. Took a long time- had to pay 12.95 for shipping g .... And waited 2 weeks! In the store they told me they would help me to set it up. So went back to the store today. Nobody there during business hours. A Post-it said there out for lunch. Come back some time later for the later to tell me it would be a 30 dollar setup fee, to replace the screen. What kind of service is that? I also didn't realize this isn't a Verizon store. So if you have any billing questions... no good. Last time I was there a lady came in who had made an appt. Do not go to this location. I went to this location to have my phone number activated on my new phone, and the guy could not do it. He charged me $40 and would not give me my money back. He sent me to the corporate Verizon store on Hawthorne Boulevard and they were able to do this for me. They even waived their $30 charge. They told me I should go back to the Verizon store on Pacific Coast Highway to get my money back. When I went to go get to get my 40.00 ,, he said he could not refund my money. I would actually give the 3720 PCH Torrance Verizon store an 11 if I could but give Verizon corporate a 2 because I tried and tried to use the website to no avail, then waited to do online chat with someone for over 20 min two different times, again no assistance. I even tried to book an appointment at the 21841 Hawthorne Blvd Torr to replace my broken iPhone that I pay insurance on, but the soonest I could get in was in the evening two days later. Thankfully I was able to get right into this Verizon authorised dealer store. These guys were knowledgeable, helpful and worked hard to get us the best deal possible on replacing my broken iPhone. The positive experience made us decide to go ahead and upgrade my husbands iPhone 6. We purchased the liquid glass and they assured/promised if anything happened to our screens bring it back and they'll take care of it - no problem! read more

This was some of the worst service ever, at around 6 pm! when I arrived at 6 PM appointment, they were with someone else and made me sit and completely ignored me. When I finally spoke up and said something about it, the only sales rep in the store, said "OK, you can go." it could make raise the question, "are you sure you really want to sell anything in this store?" How did I not know this location existed? I could've saved myself so many headaches had I known they were here! The reason why I have always dreaded going in for repairs, or any issue was because I always had a bad experience. So I would avoid having to go into a Verizon location. Well I had gotten a new phone and wanted a screen protector and new case. I walked in, was greeted by a very friendly staff member. He listened to what I was looking for and took the time to show me what they had and also gave me advise on what was good for my phone. They had a special going on so I ended up with a few accessories which I love all! I must say! I went to another location to see their selection of phone cases and was greeted but he looked more annoyed that I walked in and even more annoyed I was only there for a case. Do yourself a favor!!! I was looking to upgrade my phone from the 5S to the 6S the other day, and I found myself in south Torrance. I consulted my trusty Yelp app, and found this place to be the closest. So I made my way here. The upgrade process took about an hour, since they had to set the phone up and clear the memory of my old one.The pleasant surprise was the lifetime extra 2GB of data that is now on my plan, for a total of 14GB per month, and unlimited talk and text. After the set up was done, they told me what I needed to do to restore my music and other apps. This was a simple process, which was done by syncing my phone via my iTunes software back home. Recently, however, I realized something was wrong with my account. I called the Verizon service line to ask about additional plan options. I was going through my account with a fine-toothed comb, and realized that the staff here put me on a phone protection plan I did not agree to. In fact, I told them in person that I did not want any phone insurance whatsoever. They placed it on my account anyway, and it added $11 extra per month on my bill. This is not a budget-breaker for me, but the principle is what matters here. Fortunately, I found this discrepancy before my first bill even came, and I fixed it while filing a complaint through corporate. That is the pet-peeve I have with Verizon. Much like the memberships people at 24-hour fitness, you really have to watch out for them trying to pull a fast one on you. The actual phone service and smart phones are awesome, but there are many sales people that are swindlers. Beware. read more

I came to the store recently and the two girls were very helpful. Brenda was very knowledgeable within my Samsung s21 ultra and Julie was able to match some accessories to it. I absolutely am loving this camera just as I was told. I am very excited for my new trip on thanksgiving with this camera. The customer service here was amazing I most definitely recommend it.
