If you already have T-Mobile as your provider, this location has some very nice staff working here. However, I must give this location a 4 out of 5 stars. They have a small shared parking lot, but location was easy to find. We get there, informed them that we came for the new phone and were told they didn't have any in stock. I read back the phone number I called to ask and they couldn't confirm if that was the correct phone number and that I spoke to a lady. We felt that there was some attitude given towards me from another male staff member when I provided the details. After being there for 2 hours switching phones, installing screen protectors, the gentleman helping us was extremely nice. He was very down to earth and he said he's only been there for a few months. There a woman there named Alexis and I can't remember the hispanic guys name that were incredibly helpful, but there is a guy there with braids or dreads that is just an absolute miserable employee that wants nothing to do with making ANY effort whatsoever to even remotely seem like he is going help you out. He refuses to give any answers that would be helpful and does it with a stupid attitude. It's entirely unacceptable and unnecessary. The first time I had the misfortune of dealing with this guy was about 2 weeks or so ago with my elderly dad and aunt. I thought maybe it was just an attitude he was giving because maybe he was having a bad day or maybe my dad's frustration with him was making him even more unpleasant, but today I called because I had a simple yes or no question wondering if I needed to do anything because I switched over to Verizon a couple of days ago or it's all done once my number has switched over. As soon as he answered I knew it was him and I can hear his "sh**y" attitude right off the bat. He damn tefusedbto offer up any kind of answer or at least say, "hold on, let me find out". It was just attitude and trying to pawn me off to cistomer care, so I hung up on him. I called another T-mobile store in Alhambra and I got a very polite answer in under 2 minutes and I was off the phone. IF I ever have the need to go back to T-mobile, it will NEVER be this store because we will end up fighting. read more

Dont waste your time asking about replacement protectors because they will screen you no joke. I called in and without hesitation in less than 3 seconds Nostradamus gave me her definitive "no not in stock" line when i said iPhone air not even bothering to check because big dawg said she knows everything in her store thats in stock like ok, I mean for starters this is ridiculous being sent on a wild goose chase already to hear her shoot me down quicker than a WW1 plane giving me no direction or even a store that does except sorry try again and secondly its unprofessional let alone rude to disregard us in such a manner like as if its known culture within company policy to scam us out of our entitled premium service we are paying by denying us the privilege based off product when they are the suppliers why wouldnt they carry more volume depending on the locals. Their customer service has gotten so bad in the last couple of months that it is taking forever for someone to actually answer the call. It used be so easy and quick to talk to a representative but now it is completely different. They are slowly forcing you to use T-Life app where not everything is answered and blocking you from talking to a rep. As for the promotions/deals, they don't even come close compare to other carriers, giving free phones and devices without having to trade-in, and so on. Hope T-Mobile will stay true in serving the customers like they used to. read more

Absolutely amazing service. This is not my usual store but it was the only one in my area with no wait. I walked in and was immediately welcomed by Ivan Centeno. He had a warm smile and walked us over to his station. I let him know that I was there to add a line to my existing plan. He was more than happy to help and asked for my information. While he was pulling up my account, Ivan took the time to build small talk by asking how my day was and noticing that I had been a customer for 10+ years. Ivan made the changes on my plan and even tested the line a few times to make sure that it was active. He explained the costs that I would see and handed us his business card in case something appeared wrong once I got my bill. It was so nice to see someone who treats you more than a sale and I appreciated all of his help. I highly recommend you ask for him if you ever find yourself at this store. read more

The short of it: Sales people will lie about promotions to make a sale. Be very careful and make sure you read everything. Longer version: We are existing T Mobile users. On June 4, we decided to add a line and went to this particular T Mobile to do so. Vanessa helped us. We asked what was the promotion at the time, and was told that if we bring an iPhone 7 or later, we would get a base model iPhone 11 for free, but if we bring an iPhone 6s or earlier, it would be for $500 credit. There were poster advertisement in the store saying as much. We signed up and didn't think of anything else. July billing statement came and the bill was substantially higher than what Vanessa said it would be, and I called T Mobile to ask what happened. After an hour on the phone, they told me that the store made a mistake and didn't apply the proper promotion. The "team of experts" will be on it and apply the credit for next month. August bill came and was the same as July bill, so I called again to find out why. After another hour, got the same response and same promise that it will be addressed next month. September bill came, and again, substantially higher than what Vanessa told us it would be. So this time, the "team of experts" escalated the matter and I was told: 1). The promotion that Vanessa had told us didn't even exist. There was no $500 trade in for the phone. That promotion did not happen until 3 weeks after we signed up. 2). There was another promotion then, but it was for $400 trade in, and didn't start until June 5, a day after we signed up. 3). There was no valid promotion done on the day we actually signed up. If Vanessa did know that there was no promotion at the time when we sign up, then she lied to us to get us to sign up that day. If Vanessa did not know that there was no promotion that day, then she is just incompetent. Either way, we lose $400 for signing up 16 hours earlier. read more

Ugh my experience here today was bad. I spent some time with T-Mobile customer service support through facebook chat and had everything taken care of with my account - I just needed a sim activated on one of my lines and was advised the quickest route would be to go in store to have this taken care of. In fact, customer care already assigned a temporary sim number to the line and I just needed to go in store and have it swapped for a physical sim. Easy enough right? Not here. I walked in and explained that I just needed a physical sim activated in place of my temporary one and the guy took my id, pulled up my account, and informed me he couldn't do it unless I converted the line to a more expensive type. I explained that I went through everything with customer care earlier and that he could pull up the notes and should have all the info to activate my sim. He again wanted me to upgrade the line. I then told him I would just go to another store and have the sim activated and he threw my ID at me and said "good luck". WTF really? The whole interaction lasted about 5 minutes which tells you how interested they were in helping. Speaking of 5 minutes, I went to the location on Atlantic and Valley and they took care of what I needed in less than 5 min without trying to hassle me into upgrading my line. read more
