4 stars I've come here sporadically over the years and the staff has always been kind. I wouldn't say their service is the fastest, especially when it's crowded and everyone is waiting for their turn to resolve bills, upgrade phones, or need other get phone-related assistance. But their service is consistent. Yesterday, my sim card, probably 8-10 yrs old, finally flickered it's last attempt at connecting to T-mobile and died. So, I had to replace it and the lady helping me was wonderful. The service was quick since I was the only one there. I'd recommend this location since they prioritize quality of service over speed. But, I'd also recommend bringing your patience if it's crowded. read more

Absolutely hands down the worst customer service ever. This is my second time here and I experienced the same thing this time I had to say something. Seriously rude and disrespectful to the fullest. Got no communication skills whatsoever, and got the nerve to talk smack about the customer before me right when she left. I would highly recommend that you don't come here if you need help with T-Mobile. This location is a joke. If incompetence were a sport, this T-Mobile location would be undefeated. My wife and I spent five days (Sunday through Thursday) calling multiple T-Mobile stores searching for a specific screen protector. This location was the only store within a massive radius claiming to have it. Great start, right? Wrong. Because the replacement required a manager on site, we did the responsible thing: we called every single day to ask if the manager was present. Each day, employees confidently gave us the manager's "scheduled hours." Before driving out, we also confirmed twice that the product was still in stock and that the manager was there. Spoiler alert: The manager was never there. Not once. Not even close. After four days of wasted time and false confirmations, we finally got the manager on the phone Thursday evening. Instead of clarity or accountability, we were greeted with a terrible attitude and zero customer service skills, and--without hesitation--were told that the product we had been calling about was never there in the first place. So let me get this straight: * Employees were repeatedly sent to give out fake schedules * Customers were misled daily * Inventory information was completely wrong * And the manager's solution was... attitude? Honestly, what kind of manager disappears for days while their staff fields the same frustrated calls over and over? Is he managing remotely via vibes? Carrier pigeon? This isn't just poor customer service--it's systemic mismanagement. If you enjoy playing phone tag, being lied to about inventory, and getting brushed off when you finally reach someone in charge, this is the place for you. We are all human, and everyone has bad days. It is understandable, but it just so happens that every time I have gone to this T-Mobile it has been the worst service I have probably ever experienced. The employees are not helpful at all, which is a shame because it is a few blocks from my home but, I find myself looking for other locations for support. read more

I came to pick up T Mobile Tuesday swag and there was a long wait inside because the staff goes in order of people arriving - so there was actually someone asking about their phone. All the people who just wanted their quick in and out had to wait . People were impatient and upset! It took awhile to get the item. It's free though I guess. read more

Customer service is always slow but friendly people. Usually never enough people in the smaller stores so be prepared to wait at least an hour, sometimes more. I am a bit disappointed with this purchase. Went in to buy my daughter an Apple Watch for Christmas and I specifically asked if attaching the watch to my daughter's number now if she would get a notification. I was told no, she will not be notified. Before we even got home from T-mobile, she had already been notified her watch was ready for use! Christmas gift ruined!!!! read more

I was just at this T-Mobile location in Alhambra as I was having issues with my phone not being able to dial out or receive calls. I had reached out to 611 customer service yet they were helpful but it didn't solve my problem. I went in and explained my situation and right away he had a solution for me and knew what it was. The only previous times I had been in here was to redeem the collect free things from the T-Mobile Tuesday app. I was so glad that I had to come in and was able to get my problem troubleshoot it and solves in a matter short minutes. Also we went over some of the new products and promotions that they had. There are a lot of parking spots here but especially being right next to a Jollibee it might be dicey especially during with they're serving food. I had gotten here early in the morning so it was fine. Thank you T-Mobile for having great team members and great service overall. read more

Incompetent thieves. She told me they couldn't get the device (which T-Mobile sells) to work. Refused to refund the $35 I paid for activation. Was rude and told me to come back the next day to speak with the manager. She got all upitty because I pointed out that T-Mobile sells the device and she said I "slammed" my driver's license down. I was just at the store bevause I wasn't getting my emails. I tried restoring it but didn't help. Ian took a look and helped me install exchange outlook and my emails came right up. He was professional, knowledgeable and kind. Both my husband and I have T-mobile acoounts and come here all the time for assistance and it never disappoints. Andrew P. was so helpful to my sister and I from the moment we walked in! We came in to close my mom's phone account/cell service on behalf of my mom who has dementia and although closing accounts can't be performed at the store level, he did everything possible to assist and ease our experience with something that can be stressful. He helped us navigate through the process and acted as validation to the customer service line so that we could shut down the account with the rep overseas. We asked if we could just buy the cheapest phone hardware as my mom still likes having a phone to see the clock and date, even though she can't recall how to dial out. My mom won't take digital clocks. When we expressed this, Andrew didn't try to sell us a new phone and instead gave us a nearby fix it shop if we wanted a cheaper solution. Excellent service! He's the guy to find. Hard to find good help nowadays, so we super appreciated him! :) read more

What kind of phone store... doesn't have phones in stock? Seems like they're just not interested in your business if you buy a 250-300 dollar phone. Out of all phones in a 200-300 dollar price range they had a total of 0 in stock, or so they say. Why put it on display when they don't sell these phones? Also the first time a tmobile employee hasn't been willing to check if they have phones in stock at another location. Such a shame to have this terrible store so close to my house. As other people have noted, the place is understaffed. I came on a Saturday morning, waited two hours without being served, and gave up.

Don't do it. Don't go there if you value your hard earned money, your time, and your respect. As of the end of October 2023, customer service and product knowledge are poor. Worse still the manager was rude, hostile, and unprofessional. Even if there was stress due to a wave of customers or understaffing or just a bad day, that does not excuse incompetence or bad behavior and mistreatment of paying customers. In this case, a new customer. Try to always choose a corporate store if you can. The standard is higher, and knowledge is greater. Others may have had an okay or even positive experience before or may in the future at that store, but I wouldn't risk it. If I could leave a zero star, I would like to do that! Word of advice to those who want to transfer your service from another carrier, avoid T-Mobile at all costs!!! They are thieves and liars!!! I transferred my service from AT&T about 9 months ago. They gave me all the promotions, which made it sound like such a good deal back then. No one in this store told me the tracker would cost me money. Two months into the services, I woke up one day and my phone service got completely disconnected, and I couldn't even call 911. I had to borrow someone else's phone to talk to the customer service. It turned out one salesperson messed up my account with another person and canceled it without my consent. After my service restarted, I had to reset everything on the account, including all the subscriptions to streaming services. After that all the supposedly free subscriptions charged me every single month. Each time I had to spend almost an hour to explain to them why I shouldn't be charged. A couple of months ago, I was so fed up and decided to cancel all the free subscriptions. The representative told me my service could be downgraded to a lower tier, so I could save some money. I agreed. A month later, the billed amount didn't change at all. I called again, and the rep said the previous rep didn't do it correctly. He did it and I should be able to get all the credits next month. Another month had gone by, I got a bill that doubled my previous balance. It turned out he changed my plan to something else that I wasn't even aware of. I had to spend hours talking to someone over the 800 number and through online chats. It was the worst customer service experience I've ever received. Their supervisors weren't available. No one I could complain to. The next day I came to the store where I started this misfortunate journey. They said I had to call the toll free number. There was nothing they could help me with. I got so sick of it and canceled my services with T-mobile. Here is the twist, they wanted to charge the tracker device that I had never even used; otherwise, I couldn't cancel my services with them!!! read more

I went in to have my voice mail fixed which hasn't worked since I bought the phone. Faye googled how to setup a voice mail box and when she was unsuccessful with solving the problem she simply said I needed to go to an apple store. She didn't know how to solve the issue and didn't really seem to care to ask others or look in a more detailed place than google. I would have expected more from their service and I'm still left without a voice mail that works. They were also playing profane music which I didn't appreciate with my young son in there. read more

Winfield was horrible. I was waiting in line to be service and he never greeted me. Did not ask me what kind of help I need, he proceeded to help 2 customers that came in after me. When I asked him why am not getting help when I got here first. He did not answer my question, instead, he asked if I am a T Mobile customer. I told him I've been with T Mobile 10 years. I came in 3 weeks ago to get 5 new iphone 12 and transfer over new service from Verizon. I never thought getting new phones was like buying a used car. They tried to upsell me TV service and mobile hotspots devices. I understand everyone needs to hustlin. But, they were pushing it bit hard. I got charged $10 per sim (which I understand); but got charged for assisted support $20 for each line. They didn't have 3 of the phones in stock, so they had to mail it to me. I don't understand how I still got charge for those assisted support $20 each ; if they were only able to active 2 lines there?? And the fact it took 4 hours just to get 2 lines done was frustrating. The worst part, they were not able to port over my old number that the time. Waste of time at the store. They also didn't give me a detail receipt of what they charged on my credit card. I had to down the receipts online later to verify if everything was charged correctly. The worst part of the experience is: a week later, I received an email from T-Mobile: "Thanks for your interest in T-Mobile MONEY! As a reminder, here is the sign up email you requested to complete your account set up." Never did they mention about signing me up to their T-Mobile Money account; nor was I ever interested in. I called the T-Mobile Money and asked about it; and they said it was set up on the day I got the phones. I'm waiting for my bill to come in, because I'm afraid they did not give me the promotions of trade ins correctly. I wish I can give me experience here a negative star, the representatives Jasmine and another who didn't have her name tag on her was assisting make a upgrade on my phone. I was here from 630 - 830 pm. For a jump on my phone. The whole time these girls had no clue what they were doing, it took them 30 minutes to figure out how to process a case return because they told me yes to case that didn't fit my phone and when I asked about getting a receipt she said it won't print.
