Wait Time: Depending on the time you go, you might see a lot of people try to send out their packages and do returns. I've seen times where a line is formed out of the shop. Not fun waiting outside in the heat when summer comes. They also have a self service kiosk. Location/Parking: Located in The Square plaza next to Mountain Mike's Pizza. Parking can be found in the shared lot. Ambiance/Decor: Not much ambiance. You'll see plenty of packages getting ready to be sent out. but they do try to make the place clean and clear pathway to the register or kiosk. I was at this location a couple of weeks ago. The customer that was standing in line ahead of me was an elderly couple. I noticed the gentleman with blood rolling down his arm. Needless to say, I was a bit shocked. I walked up to him and told him, he was surprised as there was alot of blood from a cut. I looked over at the boy/employee working there and asked him for a first aid kit. He had a an empty stare at me as if I was speaking greek. The only person that had any intuition was Winnie!!! She grabbed some stuff out of a drawer and immediately tried to help the man..corporate should do better training and thank Winnie for being reactive and helpful. read more

Definitely the worst UPS store around. Customer service is near non existent. First time when I came in to drop off my Amazon returns they pointed me to self service. Place was empty but they still decided to not want to help me do it quickly at the counter. Second time the employee was not friendly at all as if the customers were an annoyance to her. Still can get what you need done here but definitely falls flat just in comparison of all the nearby UPS. read more

Like others have said, they never picked up the phone, or when they did, they just literally hung up the phone. Anyway, I dropped off my Amazon return package (dash cam) today at 1:40 PM. A Hispanic male UPS staff member with a beard was seen taking the dash cam. He refused to print me the UPS return receipt. As of 3:27 AM (the next day), there is no scan where UPS has possession of the package. I am sure he stole it. I called UPS Customer Service, and the UPS representative called the Rosemead UPS Store. They picked up the phone right away and said, "We don't have any information about the Amazon return package". He advised me to file a claim with Amazon for the stolen package. I emailed store4961@theupsstore.com this morning and still haven't received any response from them. I am done doing business with this Rosemead UPS store. Integrity, honesty, and professionalism are not their top priorities. Furthermore, I will drop all my packages at the Alhambra UPS Store on Main Street from now on. That UPS store is the best, and they always pick up the phone and greet customers with a big smile. read more

Ive been to this ups for amazon returns for a few years now, never one problem if anything everyone here was helpful and nice. I recently saw edward working here and he was the one to help me today. But if you walk in and see edward i suggest you go to another ups before he ruins your day. I had an amazon return that i had opened the box to check if it was the right item i was returning and edward told me next time i had to tape up the box (first i have never had to retape any of my packages before. Second if i tape up the box how exactly would he know what im returning i could just put random stuff in there?) anyways since it was my first time hearing that i stayed quiet because i was confused in my head yet edward demanded me to answer him asking me 'you heard that' it was so awkward i just said yes to move on and he proceeded to tell me he could refuse service to me if i didnt hear...so he informed me to tape it up no problem next time i will do that but why proceed to be passive aggressive?..ill avoid this place when edward is working from now on read more

They completely screwed up my package. How hard is it to scan the arcade that's already affixed? I couldn't get any reimbursement from UPS stating it's not their responsibility when THIS LOCATION'S EMPLOYEE EFFED IT UP nor was i able to get any ATo Z from Amazon stating its UPS's responsibility. IF U GO, keep your receipts and ask to take photos of the tracking. The employees here are super unprofessional and constantly have earbuds in their ears while at work. Terrible. This location is officially my fave UPS store. They're friendly and efficient. I never have to wait to long to get my items scanned and a receipt is always provided. I've been to other locations, where I'm charged for taping up things. So it's a bonus that the employees tape and help me out with packaging when I need them to. Plentiful parking in the lot, as well as it's right by a target, and a bunch of places to eat and shop. read more

Covid update Came to drop off Amazon return packages. Was next in line behind a couple. When the couple left, I stepped up to the desk. The staff member did not greet or acknowledge me but that's okay. I assume they're just wrapping up the couple's package. The staff member proceeds to chat with the other staff member, continues to ignore me. Then he walks the package to the back. Five minutes later, I'm finally helped. No hi, thanks for waiting or anything. "Return?" I replied, yes I'm here to return some packages. No response. We proceed in silence as I hold up my phone for him to scan the QR code. When we were done, he handed me the package slip and I left without a word. Judging from the past poor reviews, this guy seems pretty racist to me. Such a pity. This is my go to UPS and probably same for majority of the Asians in this part of town. I understand the language barrier and culture shock mainland Chinese people bring can be overwhelming and taken the wrong way but today's experience was just unsettling. I look forward to updating my review on my next visit but for now this location gets Yelp's mehh I've experienced better rating. read more

After moving to South El Monte, this UPS location became the closest one to my house. I have one word to describe this place, "Sherrie". If the shop was a one woman team, she'd be able to run it just fine. The first time I came here, she helped me package, label, and clarify the dimensions/weight of my boxes. Never in my life had I dealt with a UPS store associate that was as patient and kind as her. Her joyful laughter and bubbly personality gave me a lasting impression. Keep up the great work! TWO DIFFERENT VISITS, DIFFERENT ASSOCIATES, SAME LACK OF POLICY KNOWLEDGE. I went again, this time with my printed label. To confirm there was a record that my package was insured, UPS online told me to get a signature, on a copy of the receipt, from the associate who accepted my package. Dropping off the package, I was given a receipt to show that it was dropped off. I asked for a signature on the copy of my receipt, I was declined and told that the receipt given to me would suffice. read more

Today I went in to do some printing. I printed 5 pages and, in default, in black ink. I was told I had to pay $6.50. I was in shock. $6.50 for 5 pages is about $1.3 per page. How would UPS think this is affordable? Then I asked, "So how is this calculated?" The front desk worker responded "I don't know." Really...I have no words for you. If 5 pages cost $6.50, then a document with 20 pages costs $26. If, by rule, 5 pages cost $6.50, then I will accept that UPS is that desperate for money. If the front desk worker or the cashier intentionally claimed that I printed 24 pages (as stated 24 on the receipt), then this is unacceptable. My advice is that before you print, ask the worker the price rate for printing. read more

I've been dropping off packages to return for five years at this location and never had an issue with their service. They DO offer a receipt by asking or they just print it out without asking and hand it over depending on who it is. I also recently had to return a package and it cost about $10 to send it somewhere local. I thought the pricing was a bit high too but I didn't want to drive to the local post office and weigh my options there. And as far as their "outrageous" pricing on using their computer and printing out some pages for a few short minutes it's a given that the pricing will be high. They are not known for their printing services so they can price people at any rate deemed reasonable at UPS. However, if you go to the local Library on Valley (about 5-10 minutes away) the computer usage and printing is far LESS cost. I'm guessing it might be 10-25 cents per page. If going to the library is inconvenient then there's a Target next door. A regular computer printer cost about $50-$80 for a decent job and it would be worth having at home for future usage. But honestly though, I would just go to the library for something simple like that. They even have DVDs you can check out for free too. I digress, overall this location has always been helpful and pleasant. Unfortunately like with all businesses pricing is a bit higher than what you would expect. I see it this way, as long as the gas prices and minimum wage continues to increase everything around us will too. read more

MIKE IS THE BEST!!!!! I brought my parents to get Livescan done. My parents didn't bring the application and we were missing all this information to correctly complete the form. Mike was very helpful, patient and kind. He went above and beyond with assisting us and did it all with a smile. While we were waiting, we saw him assist each customer in the same manner. This is the nearest UPS Store to my house so I always come here for drop off. I can tolerate people not saying hello or bye but I can't tolerate when someone tosses my packages across the room. If you see a skinny dude who looks like he hates his life and job then avoid him at all cost. He doesn't care about your package and will toss it across the room. Like I'm standing here watching him do it and he looks at me and shrug after I called him out. This guy needs treat people packages better. read more
