    I was on my way to dinner with my Mom, brothers + family, and cousin + family and thought I drop off my Amazon returns at Staples prior to arrival. It was either going to be at the Pasadena Staples location on Colorado Blvd or the one in Monterey Park on Atlantic Blvd. Well, since I have already tried the Pasadena location, why not try the Monterey Park location so here I am. Got here around 6:30 PMish. Not many people in the store. Upon entry, I saw signs to direct me to the Shipping Services area which was good. At the time, I didn't have my return emails ready for scanning. I asked the staff member to give me a few mins. She said okay and then walked away to do other tasks. Once I found my emails, she came back. Scanning was quick and easy. Funny, while the staff member was helping me, she also scanned the next person's stuff, too, which I found odd. Wouldn't you think they should have finished helping one customer and then help the next customer??? Maybe they were muli-tasking LOL. Anyway, it didn't bother me... just thought it was different. Btw, they still have the spend $30 get $10 off deal when you return your Amazon items at Staples. My visit was short as usual, but I did peruse around to see if they had the eco meal containers in stock... they didn't. Funny, I have never driven further south on Atlantic Blvd towards the 60 Fwy. Now I have just to get to this Staples LOL. This time may be my one and only visit. Just not nearby where I normally am when in San Gabriel valley area.

    I did a walk-in for TSA precheck and passport photo. The process was quick and easy. Highly suggest booking an appointment. Some time the wait can be long depending if there are appointments scheduled ahead of time. Customers with appointments get priority! Ellen was the staff that assisted me with my TSA precheck process. She made the process very quick and easy especially since I prefilled the application online. Good customer service! With any travel purchase, you get a 20% off coupon to use at Staples.

    I made an appointment for the TSA precheck at 610pm on Monday. I arrived early and by 610pm I was setting up my information with the female employee. The store was pretty busy to my surprise as our Alhambra location closed a few years ago due to lack of business.

    I came in for my Pre TSA check and was able to luckily do a walk in. I highly suggest you get an appointment if you can. Those with appointments get priority! Ellen was the staff that assisted me with my process. She was very nice, professional and made the process quick!

    Great service!!! Oscar at the printing department was sooo helpful and patient!!! Been to 3 staples but this one is the most helpful yet!!

I cracked my phone screen in December, and came here to get it fixed after reading all of the positive reviews. The initial correspondence was easy. I told Jon the type of phone I had, he quoted me $180 to fix it. It is important to know that when I asked how much it would costs, he said "$180". No other context was offered. I was happy with the price and let him fix it. Five minutes into getting my phone back, I noticed that my screen would glitch every time I opened certain app.s Then I noticed that the screen kept freezing, and I would have to restart my phone to get it to work. I immediately went back to Jon and told him about the issues, and he said he would fix it and get me a new screen within a few days. Once again, I picked up my "fixed" screen for the second time, only for it to have the same issues I was having before, just a little less frequently. Frustrated, I went back to Jon a third time and asked what was going on. He said I bought the "generic" version for $180 and that I could upgrade to a high quality option for more money that would not have these issues. I asked him why didn't he inform me of the different versions that were available when we first spoke, and he said that he assumed I wanted the cheapest version. I can only imagine that he made this assumption because I am a Black woman. It is absurd, insulting and bad business to assume what someone is willing to pay for when you are in a sales position. He then proceeded to tell me that all of the glitches, freezing and malfunctions were normal with the "generic" version, and that I would continue to experience these issues that were rendering my phone inoperable unless I upgraded to a higher quality version. Nothing of this information was offered when I initially returned the phone for issues. As a customer I don't understand why you would sell a product that you know does not work. My screen was "fixed" yet I wasn't able to use my phone for more than 5 minutes without if freezing, glitching or shutting down. This is not a fix. Furthermore, I was not initially given the option to buy a new screen that would actually work. I told him he was a scam artist and left. The 100-day warranty they offer is because they know that their products do not work and you will experience many issues. I would not recommend letting Jon fix your phone unless you plan to waste money on a phone that does not work.
