My Samsung S21 suddenly stopped working and I did a walk in at opening to try and get my issue resolved. Unexpectedly ended up having to wait several hours due to: 1) main technician wasn't scheduled until later in the day 2) they had to order parts and pick it up from another location. After several hours of waiting (almost 8 hours) they couldn't figure out what was wrong with my phone and suggested to just purchase a new phone. The entire process was stressful and it was a big inconvenience of having to wait for different factors to come together, but the associates were very kind, and friendly throughout the entire process and didn't end up charging me for my time. read more

This place is relatively newly opened & they have excellent customer service. Both the manager & Calvin did their best to accommodate a customer's need. They upgraded a battery that I ordered to one that did not come in on time. No frills. The Duracell brand that I ordered is made by East-Penn, the same company that makes other brands such as AAA, NAPA & Everstart (Walmart) but marketed by Procter & Gamble under the Duracell brand. And since it is backed by such a giant consumer brand corporation, they are able to lower the price than the other brands such as Duralast or Die Hard to get more market share. read more

Don't waste your time. I purchased an X2 Power AGM battery from this Batteries Plus location less than six months ago. Recently my truck began struggling to start in mild weather and eventually would not start at all without a jump. I had the battery independently tested with a professional load tester, which showed the battery delivering roughly 540 CCA against its rated 840 CCA and failing the test. The alternator was verified to be charging correctly at 14.2 V, so the issue was clearly the battery. When I brought the battery back for warranty support, I was told I would need to leave it with the store for up to three days for their internal diagnosis. The store does not offer loaner batteries or any interim solution. I explained that my vehicle is street parked and subject to street cleaning restrictions, meaning leaving it disabled was not a practical option. I was told I would simply have to wait. I understand that businesses have internal testing policies, but for a six-month-old AGM starting battery that has already failed a professional load test and left a vehicle unable to start, this felt like poor customer support. Being asked to leave a car disabled on the street for multiple days with no accommodation is not reasonable. I ended up having to purchase an interim battery elsewhere just to keep my vehicle operational while waiting on their process. The battery itself may be a quality product, but the warranty experience at this location was disappointing and inflexible. read more

Very happy with my experience here. I made the appointment late the night before and was able to get a spot first thing at 9am. Mo was friendly and knowledgeable. They had the part in stock to fix my phone and completed it quickly in under an hour (estimated 2 hour and previously I went to another store estimating 3 hours). Plenty of parking. I waited next door at the coffee shop with wifi. He even recommended coffee options and walked over to me to let me know my phone was done, then helped me test it out to ensure the display was calibrated correctly. What does store offers, among other things, is a really vast selection of batteries. This is a great business to find that unique battery that you're not gonna find at any other location. We all know that there's all these weird sized batteries out there, for various things, but we never think about them until we actually need one. This is the reason why I visited this business. The way I did it was, I looked at their website and check to see if the battery I needed was in stock. This was all very easy. It was, so what I did was purchased the battery online and pick it up the next day. Again, all very easy. The people who work at the store are all very nice, and they know their jobs very well. STAY AWAY! Go to Auto Zone! I just had a bad experience exactly A.G. shared his feedback below. Eric was unprofessional and rude cursing F word to me. I asked him a new battery for my VW Tiguan. He said he has it and will install it for me. He was trying to figure it out how remove to the old battery, seems like he did not what he's doing. He installed the new battery without secure the bracket and the battery was tilt and loose. I asked him to secure the bracket correctly. He said "You don't need the bracket. If you want to put the bracket on, you do it. It is your car" I told him "if you didn't know how to do it, you need to tell me first so I can go to the other place, I did ask you if you can do it or not. I had my right arm surgery. I couldn't carry or move anything that is heavy ". He said "I did change the batter for you". I told him "you did it incorrectly and incomplete!" Then come the worse part. I asked him if you don't secure the bracket and you refuse to do so. You need to put my old battery back. Guess what. He refused to do it and walked back to the store!! I followed him and told him you need to do it. Or gave me your manager phone number. He said "I am not going to do it and my manager is not here. I am not giving his phone number". After about 5 mins of argument. He went back to my car to put the old batter back. But he didn't secure the bracket! The battery was tilted and loose! I decided to drive my car to Auto Zone in El Monte. The guy at Auto Zone was very helpful, professional and friendly. He did everything correctly in less time at lower price. While this incident happened. There was another customer watching. He was shaking his head and agreed that this is a worse business ever! read more

I attended the store during the grand opening and was surprised with all the variety of specialty batteries available. From the small coin batteries to car batteries, they have it all. Having a local battery store is convenient because sometimes batteries need to be replaced now and you don't have the luxury of waiting for 2 day shipping. The store also offers a ton of other services. I was able to quickly check the battery of my car key fob on their device which seemed accurate. I spoke with Jason (the owner) and learned they even offer phone repairs and battery replacements services (iPhone, Samsung, etc.). I live in Maryland and my daughter is a student in Pasadena, CA. While trying to help her prepare for the approaching hurricane, I was calling all the stores I could think of to locate an emergency radio and lantern. Most hardware or big box stores I called did not pick up the phone to answer any questions and those that did were not willing to look up inventory or hold items for pick up - even if I paid for them. I was so anxious and it was terrible being so far away and trying to make sure my daughter was safe. I was so happy when I reached Jason at Batteries Plus. Not only did he help me find what was available and give me options, but he also held the order and even delivered when I explained that my daughter doesn't have a car and would need to take a Lyft to get to the store. He arranged to drop the items off at her apartment when he was in the area delivering another order. He kept in constant contact with me and actually called me back when he said he would! And when he was out for delivery, he confirmed he was at the correct location and that he was leaving it at the security desk for her to pick up. He even texted me a picture of the delivery at the front desk! The supplies are just perfect and I was also pleased that he didn't just recommend the most expensive solution. He made sure she had serviceable, quality equipment that she can use for any emergency - hurricane, earthquake, fire, or power outage - and even camping! I am extremely disappointed with this establishment. I really wanted to support this new business. Unfortunately, I will never do business here again. Reading the reviews, it seems like the bate and switch that they did to me is becoming a pattern. I came in initially and spoke to Jason, the owner, about ordering a new key fob. He took his time to assist me and originally thought I just needed a new battery for my key fob. I let him know that I needed a new key fob as mine was not working even though I had just put in a new battery. He understood and then let me know it would be a little over $130 and even gave me a coupon for 10% off. I was happy. Fast forward to about a week ago. I go in to order my key fob and pay for everything up front. So I thought. Mind you they had me pay an additional $10 for shipping which Jason didn't say anything about originally. Fine. I pay and am told I would get a call Monday to let me know that the key fob was ordered and when I should come in to get the key programmed. Nobody called me. I finally call Thursday. Was told the key was in and set a day for me to go in. Apparently only the manager can program the key and he was only in certain hours. Fine. I call Saturday morning to let the manager, Jesus, know I was going in. He says nothing about any additional charge until my key fob is programmed and proceeds to tell me I owe an additional $69.99. Really? If this isn't a classic bate and switch idk what is. The owner didn't tell me about additional charges. When I went in to pay I wasn't told about additional charges and when I called to let them know I was on my way I wasn't told about additional charges. And the smug jerk of a manager tells me, "well if we just hand you the key when we get it, it wont work because it's not programmed." Yeah NS Sherlock. But how about you mention the charge when I inquire about needing a key fob in the first place. I have paid $150 for a new programmed key fob before. So the fact that they want to charge over $200 is ridiculous. Never coming back to this dishonest shady business And here I am 10 days later and my key fob is not working properly. Despite having this price approved by the owner and annotated on my account, it was not honored and I was charged an extra 60$ for my total repair. The female store clerk initially tried to trick me into paying more than I did before I asked her to review the price. I was ultimately refunded $40 instead of $100. I had a very negative experience with this place, to say the least. Called to ask whether they carry a 12V battery for my Toyota Prius. They said they did and would install it at no charge. I went there the same day. When Eric, began trying to take out my old battery so he could install the new one, I could tell right off the bat he did not know what he was doing. He kept fumbling around, dropping screws everywhere, but finally managed to remove the old battery after 15 or so minutes. However, when he tried to put the new one in, IT DID NOT FIT! This was quite annoying and disappointing. After all, Eric told me over that phone that they carried a battery that fit my car. At this point, I told Eric to put my old battery back so I could go look for it elsewhere. Here's where things began to go even more downhill. Putting the battery back in was even more of struggle and I had to step in and help. At which point, Eric said: "Well this is your car, you should know how to do it." I said: "Yes, this is my car, but you are supposed to be a professional." Eric said: "Well let me do it then! I don't know what you're getting mad at. Fuck!" This little twerp had the audacity to swear at me. A customer. I thought to myself: What kind of a business is this and what the hell did I get myself into? Long story short. Eric installed my battery back in heavily relying on my help after losing several screws and stripping one. When the batter was connected, my car did not start. At this point, he said: "Well, you had a bad battery, that's why you came here isn't it?" I replied: "Yes, but I came here. In my car. It was working." After a while of fussing with the car, trying to start it with a battery back, Alex (the manager) showed up. He was way more helpful and ended up taking me to a Toyota dealership to buy a battery. After coming back to the Battery Plus store, we Installed it (mostly me). BUYER BE AWARE !!! total ripe off brought phone in because it was not charging they told me it would be the charging port $88 to replace ..I agreed and then they said it might be the battery which will be $103 I was reluctant since I can get a new phone for that price but the guy said it's probably not that so you'll only pay for the charging port... I came back to pick up my phone since they said it was ready come to find out my phone is not working they tell me it's not either of those things but I have to pay the total anyways ...
