It pains me to write this review because I prefer to workout problems with the company directly. I have given System Pavers, Santa Ana every chance to resolve the issues. What is sad is that I used their services 2 times for work - the first time was for my driveway and the second time for my backyard. The work was done well, my relationship with both designer and project manager went well during the work. I later found out that the work was outsourced and there were a couple of hiccups which were resolved. The contract that I have states that the work is guaranteed for 25 years. The pavers have a lot of erosion surrounding them and additionally some of the pavers have lifted, some have concaved. I understand that the pandemic has made it difficult for companies to have the labor and materials delivered. My request was made in October of 2020 and subsequently I have called to follow up multiple times. I get all the platitudes. I have had at the last count 3 project managers/salesperson to look at the work. The last one took a sample of the pavers and had a schedule time to resolve the issues. That was June 3rd of 2021. Consequently, I have called several times to get this resolved...More platitudes... System Pavers is no longer the company I would go to for this kind of improvement. The sad thing is I still have work that I would like to do but I can't rely on a company like System Pavers. My advice to any potential consumer - "Buyer Beware". I truly am sad of the outcome. read more

We had our backyard in our brand new house completed by System Pavers. From nothing in the backyard to pavers, pergola, planter, landscaping lighting, and side yard installations - everything is superior five years later. Adrian and AJ are super, and Tony Garcia just came by to help us with our landscape lighting time (user error). Super friendly and explained everything. We called on Friday and he was here on Monday! Highly recommended. We have the nicest backyard in a development full of boring concrete slab backyards! read more

In July 2019 System Pavers transformed my yard with 2 large patios, walls and stairs from the street. The whole process was well executed and met my needs for outdoor living space and yard appearance. The people who managed the design, the installation and financial arrangements were very clear and it was easy to understand. The workers who did the installation and project management were very well organized and hard-working. The job was completed on time. read more

Several years ago, we completely transformed the look of our home by having System Pavers installed on our driveway, walkways, and patio areas. The pavers are beautiful and we love them. Every now and then, a paver comes loose. System Pavers has been great about customer service and follow-up. Recently, Alex Paez came out to repair some loose pavers in our front walkway. Not only did he do an excellent job but checked the integrity of our seating walls and made some repairs we did not even know we needed. Outstanding service! read more

We had a design consultant Karen give us a consultation for our backyard of a rental triplex and told her we were waiting on the closing of a house for the funds. We were told this special deal was only available that day. The next day our house did not close escrow so we called to cancel, only to be offered more of a discount and that we could get part of the deposit back to hold this unheard of deal they were offering for us, but we did not feel comfortable and just wanted to get our deposit back and rethink the job at a later date. We are still waiting for the deposit to be returned, when I tried to contact a manager, they said I had to email to request a refund and go through my portal. Which we did not even know of a portal yet. We would have used them down the line but now have no desire to, they would rather keep a $3700 deposit than get a $37,000 job in the future. Does not make sense? read more

Unfortunately I did not have the best experience with System Pavers. My husband and I were so excited to have pavers put in our new home backyard. We learned about them at a home show in Ontario CA. The sales person was great and knowledgeable. Everything after that not so good. We spent $14k for backyard pavers and I just expected a little more for that price. Communication between the project manager Joe was not good. He seemed to busy to handle our project. Also after the pavers were done we noticed some of the pavers were cracked and didn't look like the pavers we saw at the home show. Where is the quality? Unless we mentioned something about it no one would have even come to replace them or see how the paver project turned out. Basically there was no follow up. But I am thankful System Pavers replaced the broken pavers. If you choose System Pavers hopefully your experience is better than ours. We were just disappointed at how the process went. We are now getting work done in our front yard by a different company. I am very happy with this experience. What a difference between the two. read more

We are very happy with our patio done by System Pavers. It was great to be able to go to the showroom and see the pavers in person. You just can't tell how it's going to look by looking at a picture in a brochure. We chose the travertine pavers and they are beautiful. I would recommend them to anyone. read more

QUALITY FROM START TO FINISH! We had a relatively small project (new construction left us with basically a dirt patio), but they treated us the same as if we were a major project. From the moment I contacted them, I couldn't have been happier. The design process was quick, easy, informative, and consultative. They worked closely with me to get the project off the ground and kept me informed the whole way. The on-site team was awesome and continued the consultative process by making suggestions and double checking all work. They even worked without builder to make sure any post-install damage was repaired properly. I really can't say enough about these guys, and I highly recommend them. read more

System Pavers does really good work. This past December 2018 they came back to the house for a second time to work on a front patio project, but almost didn't happen. System Pavers is pricey and most likely than not, you will not be getting the best price around. But, System Pavers are very professional and that can go a long way. The Salesperson Luke is what close the deal for me. Luke was straightforward and honest, and that's all I could ask. I already knew System Pavers can do quality work, but sometimes it seems like they want to charge you for the "good morning" and the "hello". Luckily, I was dealing with Luke, who was transparent about the pricing, the scheduling, the financing, everything!!! I feel that Luke listened to my concerns and needs and provided me with the information I needed to make an educated decision. System Pavers pricey, but professional!!! read more

From the designer, to the project manager and the workers everyone was great ! Totally recommend if you looking to improve your backyard or driveway . Super excited to show off my yard . read more

We used system pavers to install a large section of artificial turf in our back yard. The project had a few minor hiccups, but overall we were extremely pleased with the final product and the costumer service. Our initial, in home consultation, sold us on the company. The associate who came to our house was very personable and knowledgeable. She was able to answer all of our questions and she provided some suggestions for our project, which we loved and used. We were impressed with the overall presentation and felt immediately comfortable investing with this company. Their price was not the lowest estimate we received, but we felt system pavers provided a higher quality product worth paying more for. The time line for completion was not as advertised though and there were multiple days where work crews were supposed to show up, but never did. There was also an occasion where the work crew did show up, but the materials they needed to complete the job was never delivered. The crew ultimately wasted the day waiting on a delivery that never came. Although these made for some frustrating moments for us, we were pleased with the response we received from our assigned project manager. He was sincerely apologetic for the inconvenience and worked hard to fix the above problems as they occurred. The job was completed about a week behind schedule, but the end result was fantastic and we felt the turf (which they bordered with paver stones rather than bender board) looked fantastic. Several weeks after the job was completed we noticed a very small corner of the turf that wasn't completely fastened down. I'm not sure if it would have been a problem for most, but we have two very tenacious dogs who would undoubtedly find that corner, and use it to rip an entire section of the turf away. I called our project manager and asked him if he had any suggestions on how to fix the corner and he sent a crew out within a couple of days to fix it for me (free of charge). All in all, we were very happy with the customer service and the end result of our job. Aside from the above mentioned issues, the job went well and we would use system pavers again for future projects. read more

I'm blown away .. Jeff Ladner and his 15 year veteran project manager , Ryan M jumped on our job . Their amazing crew was clean , on time ,professional, very polite , and FAST.. Not only they under promised and over delivered , they also changed all the drain pipes etc JUST BECAUSE THEY CARE and ARE GOOD PEOPLE . Jeff and Ryan were both 100% Available and visited our house DAILY. I am EXTREMELY happy with the end results and WILL send people to Jeff Ladner & SystemPavers. read more

Well, the best for an attractive and LASTING driveway or patio would be pavers generally and SYSTEM Pavers specifically. Jeff Ladner came to my home and gave me a totally professional presentation, explained what is involved, the types/colors of pavers, and he measured the area to be done. Within moments he had a sketch of the driveway and then we discussed price. If you are trying to decide whether to do cement or pavers, before you make a decision, I really urge you to call System Pavers. There is a guarantee of 25 years and that is what mattered most to me. I learned, also, that a "lifetime" guarantee is really only 7 years. I can't say enough about the way System presented its work. I found them through KFI-640 radio. Lastly, I really appreciated that there was no high pressure or pushiness. read more

Another great experience with System Pavers! This is the third time we have used this company. Their reputation for quality, work ethic, and making the customer happy is priority. I've had problems with Contractors in the past, but System Pavers is an excellent company. System Pavers were professional and were genuinely concerned with doing a good job. James and Cory were responsive and a pleasure to work with. The crew was polite, worked hard, and did a great job. They were on time and cleaned up after each day's work. We are delighted with our new driveway and walkway. read more

We moved into our new home and then noticed when it rained that the backyard patio level was off, water was draining TOWARDS our house instead of away from the house, I had to place sandbags around the sliding doors to prevent water from coming in! So stressful! So I knew I had to get this fixed, might as well get a new backyard! I got about 9 different quotes for new paver stones and new drain system and in the end I decided to go with System Pavers. First off, they are not the cheapest, however, they have been in business for a while and they have the 25 year warranty that no other company was able to provide (others said 2-3 years). After discussing with my husband, we decided to go with System Pavers. Chris, our designer and Ryan, construction manager were both great. Chris took time to get to know my design style and I also gave him a modest budget that he was able to work with. Ryan came every morning to check out the progress and was always available through text. Ask for these two if you decide to go with System Pavers!!! Also the coordinator Erin was also super helpful as well; called me several times with updates before project began. They had originally said project was 3 weeks out (had to get the pavers I wanted special ordered) and job would take 10-14 days. I was happy to have the project start a week earlier than expected and the job completed in 7 days!!! So happy with the results! Also the construction crew was awesome, on time every morning and they brought their own porta potty! So far, my husband and I are very pleased with the way pavers came out! read more

System Pavers of Santa Ana is AWESOME! Jon Barlok - designer, Mary Mae - project coordinator and Ryan Mainwaring - project manager are professional, friendly and focused on customer service! I looked at several companies to replace our driveway. System Pavers was one of them. When I talked with the Design Consultant Damon, he was very informative, low pressure and very professional. He took to the time to explain everything to me in terms I understood. After selecting the design and colors the team at System Pavers go going, from scheduling to meeting with the construction manager, Cory. Everyone was very friendly and professional! I was told that the replacement would take 7-10 days, however was pleasantly surprised that when construction actually started, they were done in two days! Way to go Cory and team! I would highly recommend System Pavers to anyone that needs some work done. They may be a bit higher in cost, yet you can't argue with their quality. Best of all I no longer need to worry about my wife twisting her ankle on a uneven driveway when she gets home late at night. read more

We are very happy with our new driveway! Our salesman Brent made it easy to visualize the colors and design. Sam, the project manager checked on the job regularly (it took 3 1/2 days). We were very impressed with the two man crew headed by George and how much they accomplished each day. What hard workers! Our design included a custom center and George was quite the detail oriented craftsman. They were professional, courteous and left the job site very clean every day. I'd recommend this company to anyone looking for a nice driveway! read more

System Pavers - Masonry/Concrete Near Me - Orange, California

Been wanting to redo my driveway for years, but kept putting it off. But recently I was visiting my grandparents and their neighbors had used System Pavers to have their driveway and walkway replaced and I couldn't believe how amazing it looked. I immediately got their information and worked with Bradford to design a driveway and walkway to my house that perfectly matched the color of my house, plus, I also ended up working with him to re-do my yard as that was the next item on my list after redoing the driveway, so I killed two birds with one stone. BK was the project manager and one of the nicest guys I've had the pleasure of working with, especially having been a homeowner of almost 9 years now and several construction projects, including residing my house and adding stone veneer (hence making sure the color combo of the driveway matched the house colors). The project was slightly delayed due to rainy weather, which for obvious reasons you certainly can't fault System Pavers for, since installation can't be done in the rain. That being said, as soon as the weather cleared up, they were immediately on the job and the work was completed at an astounding rate. After the third day I was already parking on my new, amazing driveway. I've worked hard to make my house the best looking one on the block, and System Pavers certainly pushed that way over the edge. I still have a back yard I have to decide what I'm going to do with in the long run, but I have a feeling whatever I decide, System Pavers will be involved in that that project when the time comes. Thank you, Bradford and BK. You're the the best! read more

I am sad to see someone thinks Anthony was shady. We thought he was professional and listened to our needs for our backyard project. He was in constant communication and very polite. Although we are not able to move forward at this time (we need several projects done like wood stairs and a grey water system) I wanted to review our experience with the company. We even put a deposit down which SP refunded immediately when they knew we had too many other decisions to make prior to pavers. Definitely contact Anthony at SP if you are thinking about landscaping! read more

I just completed by backyard project deciding to go with System Pavers and found myself completely satisfied with all their work. From start to finish with Byron from sales to the PM Ryan and his crew I felt like they cared about my project and worked with me along the way to ensure my complete satisfaction through the whole process. Ryan communicated daily responding quickly to my calls and text messages when anything came up during the execution phase of the project. The crew working at my home treated my property with respect and helped out when I had requests or questions about the old concrete removal, the drains added, plants, lights, and the subsurface prep work and pavers installation. The total cost was higher then competitors but the quality and professionalism was well worth it to me and my family. read more

My experience with System Pavers has been all positive. They worked with my design for a back patio and made helpful suggestions. The installation crew was skilled, efficient and courteous. About four years later I noticed that hillside settling had created some low spots that prevented complete draining. I called for warranty service and a crew was sent out within days to level those areas. Last week at year eight, the patio needed a touch up and Cory James came out to access. A few days later the crew arrived and once again provided top notch service. I highly recommend this company and consider their beautiful paver work to be one of the best investments I've made in my home. read more

We agree with Heidi E., "System Pavers was amazing". Six years ago System Pavers designed and installed our driveway, walkway, and a sitting bench. They were dependable, punctual, and efficient. Since the time of installation, we have contacted them due to battery acid leaks on the pavers and a lighting issue. Both of these issues were expertly handled by Edward Campbell. He really follows through! They are the best! Robert and Sally LeClerc read more

System Pavers transformed our courtyard from an eyesore into a beautiful and tranquil outdoor entertaining area. Our project manager Joe Garlick was awesome!! Any problem we ran into he was always there to iron things out. We ordered a water feature for our courtyard that did not come with a cap for the top, which we were unaware of. Joe went above and beyond to make this right. And in the end we were very happy with his solution. I would highly recommend Joe and his crew. Not only was he on top of things, he was courteous, efficient and always responded to any questions or concerns we had. So if you ever need a landscape transformation I highly recommend System Pavers. read more

2nd update, after posting the last update I got a call from Nestor who is one of the project managers and he wanted to come out and look at the area and try to make things right. He was very nice, said he would have a crew come out and put in a drain and take the stain off the pavers. A crew did come out and within an hour they had put a new drain in and used new pavers that we had left over to replace some of the stained pavers. There is still a bit of staining left but I am just grateful they decided to make things right. If you want an awesome project manager ask for Nestor, he was terrific. read more

I recently had my driveway and backyard replaced with System Pavers. I received many estimates from several contractors. The cost was not lowest but was average compare to other contractors. I selected System Pavers because of their organization system which they responded to my entire question and also their 5 years finance with 0% interest which was awesome. We had a deal. We had Ryan and his crew for the pavers. Awesome team. Ryan was here at least every morning. He almost did more than what I expected. If there was any question, he was there with just a call. Rigo, the contractor was same. The project took about 2 weeks. I will defiantly recommend them because of many reasons. I also recommend asking for Ryan and his team since they are very professional and make customer happy. read more

I just purchased an RV and a month later my city outlawed parking it on the street. I wasn't happy I would have to fork out more money for the RV and now it would partially block the front of the house. After shopping around I found that System Pavers was one of the only companies who would guarantee the work with the heavy vehicle. They dig down extra deep (12" vs 4" for standard job) to guarantee driveway remains stable with the extra weight. This is a bit more expensive but worth it for the lifetime guarantee. I was originally only going to install a RV pad next to the house but decided to redo the driveway as well so it all matched. It looks amazing!!! I'm no longer pissed I had to put this in to make the city happy because it is so gorgeous. read more

These people are incompetent. And when I had an issue they would not let me speak with a supervisor.

Part 1 (wrote too much please read both!!) We are so happy to check this project off our list! Backstory: We bought a home about 4 years that had a gorgeous used brick pool deck. Everyone always commented on the how cool the deck was. But what they did not know is that the bricks were disintegrating, specifically the bricks serving as the pool coping. Our feet were getting torn up and the pool was covered in brick dust. Oh, and the company that manufactured the exact brick size went out of business like 25 years ago. So replacing the bricks was really not an option. We decided this year to heat our pool due to the stay-at-home orders mandated in March due to COVID-19. This was one of the best decisions we made to pass the time, lol! (More info: pool was replastered last Spring and transitioned to salt water, house was re-piped due to a slab leak last summer, and house was re-painted last Fall. Too many home projects = BROKE.) The increased use of the pool beginning in March accelerated the brick deterioration. We think also, the bricks were impacted due to the saltwater transition. Anyway, all of this to say, staring at our backyard all day, every day, we decided to redo the pool deck. We received a few estimates from independent contractors. Since we were doing this as a 'backward' project (pool had just been replastered, pool is surrounded by expensive artificial turf, detail work would be involved, etc) we decided to explore larger companies as well. We also received a mailer that highlighted a very good offer from System Pavers involving demolition and financing. And well, we had a lot of demolition (see pics) so this was a factor for us in making our decision. After a virtual estimate, and then a visit to the home, and a subsequent scheduled visit to the System Pavers showroom, we signed a contract with our designer Byron Schlay. Byron has great energy and really listened to what we were hoping to accomplish. He offered us good suggestions and kept the project within our stated budget. We appreciated his honesty and clear lack of "upselling" us, as that did not suit our lifestyle. Here's an example: with our other estimates we had considered a fancy built-in outdoor BBQ, sink, refrigerator island. Byron was clear to indicate requirements for measurements. Given our specific pool deck layout this would have caused a limit on play area for the kids and a precarious path of travel for when we have parties. The fact is that we maybe barbecue once a week, so we decided to save that cost and put our money in other parts of the backyard. Best decision. Speaking of other parts of the backyard, there was one area of our pool deck that was a real conundrum. Essentially, it was a pool wall attached to a planter and to the perimeter of our property wall, that had an elevation and a water feature. This planter had been filled and made into a raised deck of sorts so that the kids could propel themselves into the water. Problem: kids are now too big to do this and they can almost make it to the other side of the pool. This area needed to go and had to be redesigned. Due to the unknown of what this area could entail, it was excluded from our estimate until the company was able to chip away at the hardscape and develop options for us to proceed. We appreciated the care and attention to this corner of our backyard as it is a focal point. (see pre/post pics) Enter project manager, Ryan Mainwaring. Soft-spoken, very honest, and super kind, Ryan spent a significant amount of time reviewing the scope of the project listening to our ideas, and figuring out how the construction crew would protect a newly plastered pool, and the tile while demolishing all of the old brick. Ryan returned prior to the project scheduled start date with the crew foreman and again the scope of the project and the emphasis of protecting the pool was reviewed. There was a point where we thought they might back out of the project, lol. Fast forward: Pool remained essentially unscathed throughout the project. Lesson to be learned is that even if you protect a pool very carefully with plastic taped to the tile, dust somehow still settles in. It needs to be swept and vacuumed daily otherwise it calcifies. Our family wet sanded all of our seating areas of the pool to get rid of this. This was outside of the scope of what System Pavers had to do and we were fully aware that engaging in this project could result in some sort of damage to our pool. THANK YOU to System Pavers for covering and uncovering our pool (thick ml plastic cut and taped along the tile) probably 10 times during this project. No project is perfect.... There are very few projects that are completed without issues and hiccups along the way. The project was no different. What was anticipated to be less than a three-week project, turned into a 2+ month project. (Go on to Part 2!) read more

Travis from System Pavers was great, our yard was a bit complicated with footing of walls showing and different levels for the yard, and the foundation of the house showing, without the standard depth required for pavers, before signing and finalizing on price Travis double checked that the work was even possible. Next came Ryan our Project Manager, he came in before work started and verified the work to be performed, he also came day before the crew arrived to check what would happen with the floor level and knew exactly what the crew needed to do the next day. The crew themselves did an amazing job, they were quick and efficient, and the end results, we could not have imaged. I have already given Travis number to a neighbor, so hopefully she will be calling. read more
