System Pavers in San Diego had done a large project for us and we were ready to show it off to our friends. Unfortunately, a problem with the lighting occurred. The San Diego project leader came over and said that he would temporarily fix it for our party that weekend. Apparently, he was unable to get support from his SD office, but was resourceful enough to get Alex Paez from their Santa Ana office. Alex was wonderful and did a perfect job. He is clean-cut, friendly, respectful, efficient and thorough. I would be glad have him work on our home anytime. read more

Would I recommended System Pavers? Absolutely! Their primary goal was customer satisfaction from the initial sales contact through job completion. During the design phase our Sales Manager, Eric Magpali, recommended some changes that my wife and I hadn't thought of. His recommendations made a significant visual impact along with other visual paving stone cues that stand out. The design exceeded our expectations. There never was any pressure for upselling but Eric worked within our budget and presented different options for us to consider. The total job was completed in 6 days. The crew and project manager, Adrian Munoz, were phenomenal. This crew worked incredibly hard and each step of the project they worked and consulted with us to make sure details were to our satisfaction as the project progressed. Adrian stopped by every day to make sure the job was meeting or exceeding our expectations. As the job progressed my wife wanted some minor changes and Adrian and crew were very accommodating. The crew was always on-time, courteous, and cleaned up the job site each day. The whole experience from sales, design, demolition, installation was a pleasant customer experience. If you are in the Inland Empire, request Adrian Munoz and one of his crews. The total job from expanded driveway, borders, porch and artificial turf exceeded our expectations. Due to water restrictions here in L.A county the grass in our front yard had dried up and became an eye sore. So we decided it's time to have it replace. My wife checked out several companies and she came up with Systems Pavers as the best. She did not made a mistake bec. at a moments noticed they returned our call and set up an inspection date for us. We met Oscar Bonilla a professional looking guy and we became at ease right away with him. The only reason they are getting a 1 is because I can not give them a 0. Randy came out to my home on 2-7-2017 for an estimate on a job. I liked what he had to say and the price, I was required to give him a deposit that day. He told me someone would be out in a few days with samples and would do a chalk outline so I could visually see the project. A month went by and every time someone was scheduled to come out the appointment was cancelled. By the time the last appointment was cancelled on 3-3-2017, I called to cancel my job with System Pavers. At this point they sent Wade out...... who informed me the job would be $2800 over the already quoted price of around $7000. At this point, and after waiting over a month I cancelled the job. To date 3-16-2017 I am still trying to get my deposit back...the one they required on day one.... and was told today it would be another 7 to 10 days. I don't know if System Pavers treats all their customers like this or only single women. Be careful. read more

Ugh!!!! Where do I start? The customer service in this company stinks!!!! I had a designer come out January 6-it is now February 22. Did I ever get a quote ? no !!! The guy who came out said he was going into training & to contract him when I was ready to meet to get my quote - I said I was ready within a week to meet again to get a quote. Insult to injury he was refusing to meet with me without my husband I told him my husband put it all in my hands,as I am an adult. I'm getting three quotes & will show them to my husband and tell him which company I would like to use. I hate when companies are so condescending that they will not deal with the wife only . He said I would have a quote shortly. Never heard back from him I literally called the company 800## 3 times...nothing! I wasted an hour of my workday to meet with the guy, go over the plans to redo my whole backyard , to never get a quote. Are you kidding me ???? that's time I can't get back !The amount of money system pavers pays on mailing advertising mailers to my mailbox, sending out daily emails, and calling me etc. they could use that money to actually getting sales people and sales managers who can follow up and give somebody a quote! On top of this, the company called me three times to ask me if I was happy with their service and three times I told them I never got any service!!! By the way I had a gentleman from Western Concrete come out, give me a quote within two days, show me respect as an adult & meet with me without my husband... his quote was thorough, detailed and affordable! Totally waste of time. It has been 1.5 months since Noel Salinas came over and showed us fancy presentation and did the measurements of our yard but till today no design has been shared with us. Noel booked an appointment on a Saturday before Easter to meet us at the showroom but when we went there it felt like show room was closed. Finally had someone open the door for us. Noel did a last minute cancellation and indicated that we should be able to go visit and take pictures at the showroom of what we like so he can incorporate that in the design. Once we went inside the showroom entire experience was unwelcoming. Doors were locked and they were almost reluctant to open the doors since Noel wasn't there. Once we were in as instructed by Noel my wife was about to take a pictures and a designer came and told her/us not to take any pictures. I showed him text from Noel that one of their own employees told us to take the pictures and designer indicated people take pictures and get ideas of their design. I didn't tell him there but the power point presentation which Noel shared with us had same picture on their Yelp reviews. Anyways we spend about 10 minutes after that and left. I reached out to Noel few times after that and he indicated they were backed up with their design because of Easter. Till today after almost 1.5 months we have not heard anything back from Noel or their designers. Noel has broken promises multiple times with zero follow ups via phone calls or text messages. When I brought this up to Noel one of the times he told me he will speak with his manager and offer discount. That was really odd since we never received any quote or anything and discount was offered. I highly suggest that you stay away from this company. Even though it looks like they are professional and have been in business for a while and have big show room their customer support, follow ups, and operation is extremely poor. Chances are even if they do your design and landscaping once they some how finish the project good luck with everything since you will never hear back from them. read more

This is the second time I have used System Pavers. The first time, great product and they were all over solving any issues. This time around the product looks great, but getting them to fix issues has been problematic. The lighting went out in late May and it took to early July to send someone out. This person did not fix the problem and promised to have the person who installed the lighting system out within 2 weeks. It is now more than 3 weeks later and emails are being ignored. We love the pavers but the fireplace and outdoor lighting have been nothing but trouble. We have had constant issues and have a non-working fireplace and lights. Be careful with the "great" systems pavers warranty- doesn't cover these other items. They totally misrepresented the warranty and have been very difficult to work with. The first thing I want to say is that I cannot believe any of the people who put up the negative reviews for System Pavers. I had several other paver companies come out and either they did no show up or were late for their appointments. This is the second time I have used System Pavers and both times were great. System Pavers did a FABULOUS job on my driveway! The old concrete driveway was starting to lift up, which is a serious trip hazard. I had put off too long fixing my driveway because I wasn't sure how to deal with the tree roots that had caused the damage in the first place. System Pavers put in root barriers that will direct the tree roots down rather than have them lift up my new driveway in the coming years. The work that was done is aesthetically very attractive and much nicer than any other driveway that I have seen. The job was done on time (finished in just 4 days!) by an extremely hard-working and professional crew. The price was also quite reasonable, especially in view of the beautiful results! read more

Don't get your pavers here! BUYER BEWARE!! We signed on with SP a few years ago and the project from start to finish took more than a year for a standard backyard. It's nothing massive. Standard 5k lot in a newer subdivision. We went with SP because the sales team was good and the radio commercials implied they were trustworthy. That's not the case. They promised us the best pavers in the world, but everyone gets their pavers from the same manufacturers, which we know now. They kept stringing along the start date and then when they started they took forever to finish. Then they half finished and promised to come back, but we had to keep calling to get it all done. When it was finally done, the stones started turning white, so we called them back. They said seal it, which they never mentioned before, but ok, we spent more money on sealing. After a few rains, the stones went back to turning white. We call them back and they redirect us between Jeff and Ryan and the gm and this person and that person. Finally, in the spring of this year (2018) they sent some guy in a tie to come and take a look and he blames the discoloration and patches of white on our drainage and was very condescending doing so. Change your sprinklers they said, or turn them off. Ok, so we turned them off. Our grass died and our backyard looks like something out of a horror movie and the pavers are STILL DISCOLORED!! They're discolored where the sprinklers would have hit and they're discolored on the driveway where water doesn't get near. We have called repeatedly and this last conversation ended with them asking us to change our entire landscaping so they can fix the discoloration. Uhhh what?? We've already spent $30k with them plus all the softscaping and now we have to replace the dead softscape BECAUSE THEY TOLD US TO STOP WATERING so no, I'm not changing my entire backyard to suit them. They are liars and thieves and I promise everyone looking for pavers that you can get a better deal and better service ANYWHERE else. Skip systems pavers. They were very professional, and cleaned the area thoroughly when they were finished. Lawn is beautiful and neighbors are amazed that it looks and feels so real. Our backyard is amazing now!!! Everyone at system pavers was amazing! We wanted to have our backyard done and tried contacting numerous contractors to come out and give us a bid. After a number of no shows, no bids or no calls we decided to give system pavers a try due to a commercial we saw on tv and a pin on Pinterest. We just wanted to see how much we were talking about to get an idea. System Pavers called, sent a text and sent an email to remind of us our appointment the day before. Then the morning of our appointment they sent an email with a photo of the person that would be coming to our house. Scot Birrelll showed up exactly on time. He was so nice! He measured, made suggestions and talked to us about what we could do within our budget. We decided to go with them! Nestor the protect manager was awesome. He helped us in every way he could. Whenever I had any questions or issues I would text or call and he would get back to me. All the guys that worked the project were very nice and professional. We were first introduced to System Pavers by a neighbor. I had heard their radio ads from time to time also. We had our initial meeting with Byron Schley. He went into great detail about the kinds of pavers they used, their installation techniques, and their attention to detail. He also had a great portfolio of previous work they had done from which we were able to get some ideas from. Byron had an initial design in mind and he was able to mock up some sample images that gave us an idea of what to expect. Over the next couple of weeks we discussed a few additional details (like moving sprinklers, adding additional drainage, adding gutter downspout drains, etc). Byron was also instrumental in giving us some additional ideas that we hadn't considered. Granted, some did come at an additional cost, but some did not. When we had finalized our design and ready to proceed, we were introduced to our project manager, Juan Garcia. Juan was a very results-oriented kind of guy, which I greatly appreciated. He always told us to call him if any questions came up or we had any concerns. He was also very helpful in giving us additional ideas, such as running conduit under the walkways so we could add our own low voltage landscape lighting in the future. Its not impossible to add after-the-fact, but I really appreciated Juan stepping up and making the suggestion before the pavers were laid. His crew was very diligent and worked almost every day to complete the job as soon as possible. They were also very tidy and clean. They cleaned up every day before they left. I didnt think they would do that since they planned to finish so quickly. So I appreciate that his crew took time at the end of the day to do it before they went home after a whole day working. I also appreciate that they left us a few spare pavers in case we needed to replace any down the road. Once the project was complete, Byron and Juan both spoke to us extensively to point out areas and things we should watch out for and be aware of (efflorescence anyone?). Their attention to customer service and pride in their work was plainly evident in their actions and constant reference to System Pavers' warranty. I read some of the other less-than-stellar reviews and having worked with a number of contractors in the past, I have to say, working with Byron and Juan was a much better experience. Although we didnt have all of the "fine details" laid out on the plan, Byron and Juan made many concessions and additions that we did not add to the cost of the project. We did add some additional pavers (along the edge of the driveway, effectively widening our driveway a bit) that did cost extra, but it was definitely something I wanted to do, but it didnt cross my mind to do it with pavers. So I'm happy Byron suggested it. If you're thinking about even talking to System Pavers, be sure to ask for Byron. And if you end up working with them, be sure to ask for Juan as your project manager. You won't be sorry. read more

This is long over due, my project was finished late last year but I'm glad my project manager Sam Salcedo recently called me to check in. Sam was always very attentive and recently contacted me to see how everything was going. I absolutely love my new driveway and the lights we put up along the sidewalk. Everybody at System Pavers is a joy to work with, starting from our initial contact with Steve which lead to our design consultation and eventually a beautiful driveway managed by Sam. Our Project Manager, Cory, was the greatest (Damon told me I would like him). Cory made sure that Rob (mason), Alex, John (electric) and our plumbers all coordinated their efforts. We called System Pavers to get a quote and Chris Linden, Design Consultant, came to our home in Anaheim to give us a quote. He listened to what we wanted and didn't try to talk us out of anything nor did he upcharge anything. He did measurements and gave us some different ideas to think about. We ended up with an alumawood pergola and pavers for the patio and walkway. The quote came in $10,000 less than other quotes and we couldn't get alumawood with other quotes. Chris said work would be completed in 2 weeks and it was! Our project manager, Ryan Mainwaring, came out to house before construction and talked with us to make sure we were getting what we wanted. On day 1 of construction, Ryan was there first thing and made sure the crew knew exactly what we wanted. He came by everyday and always checked in with us. Jose, the crew manager made sure to communicate with us to clarify any questions they had. He made sure we took pictures along the way. Everyone was extremely nice, hard working, professional and always available to talk to either in person, by phone, text or email. Highly recommend them for any job you need to have done. read more
