First off, HATS OFF to Moe. He's the true reason why I decided to go with System Pavers for my backyard renovation. Despite my expedited timeline, I was assured that the job would be completed and I would have nothing to worry about. Moe always made himself available to answer any questions, and his wealth of knowledge, made me confident in my decision to push forward with System Pavers - I just knew I couldn't go wrong with my decision. Then comes Oscar, the "Project Manager" Initially, Oscar made me feel equally as confident as Moe did in my decision to contract System Pavers for my project. He too seemed to come with a wealth of knowledge which I felt would be ideal for the work I wanted completed. After doing a site walkthrough with both Moe and Oscar, not only did I decide to move forward with the backyard, but also expanded my project to my front walkway, driveway, and lighting. At this time, I did not know who I would contract for my new sprinkler systems that would be required, but Oscar had a recommendation. Oscar referred me to his guy Luis, and spoke to how seamless this would be since they were already doing the pavers. The pavers were installed seamlessly. As a matter of fact, I was rather impressed at how quickly they finished the job given the inclement weather. They worked on and off through the different rain storms we were hit with, and they did a great job at covering the areas when they were unable to work due to the weather. Up to this point, everything had been going smoothly with the project. I soon noticed that there was flooding in both the front and back yards (primarily in the back). The flooding was due to the drains not being installed in the correct location in the backyard. After returning on 3 different occasions System Pavers was finally able to get the drains in the correct location to prevent the flooding from occurring. While I appreciate that this was rectified, Oscar as the project Manager should have checked the placement of the drains upon completion to assure, they were installed correctly the first time. Furthermore, after cleaning out my garage (a month after the BBQ Unit was installed), I was shocked to find the cooktop for my brand new Traeger Timberline XL was never installed at all. Again, this is a complete oversight and lack of Quality Assurance on Oscar's part. How on earth do you forget to install a cooktop on a $4K BBQ unit when well over $65K was spent on the job in total? Again, the follow through and lack of attention to detail are getting worse and worse. After informing Moe of the mishap...again, it was Moe to the rescue! He instantly spoke with Oscar and the two returned to my home yet again, where they evaluated the situation and got someone to cut out the island and install the cooktop. It was inconvenient and not very acceptable that they completely forgot the stovetop, but it was fixed nonetheless. To circle back to this sprinkler system and the Luis recommendation that was provided by Oscar. The main reason I went with Oscar's recommendation is because he said that Luis would give a good rate on the work given that I was already over budget with System Pavers. In addition to the sprinkler installation, I also wanted to relocate the system to my garage. The initial installation of the sprinkler system was just as seamless as the work System Pavers did, but that's where things take another turn. My sprinkler system is not functioning correctly at all! This system is cycling back-back every hour when it is only supposed to run one time per day. Not only is this additional wear on my brand new system, but also this is a HUGE amount of wasted water. Living in draught-ridden California, this is a HUGE additional expense. I have attempted to install the app, so I can check the settings on my cellphone, but since I was never provided any paperwork or serial number for my Hunter sprinkler system, I can't even use the app. I made contact with Oscar several times regarding the issue with no movement to get this resolved. At this point he has completely stopped responding to my calls and text messages. I truly wish there was a way to divide the rating! Moe and System Pavers generally did a great job and worked efficiently. I would give them 4 STARS. To be honest I loved Moe and what they did. Oscar on the other hand dropped the ball every time it was handed to him. From the misplaced drains, to the forgotten cooktop, to the botched sprinkler functioning, Oscar as the project manager did NOT do a good job. You should expect with Oscar on the job as "Project Manager" you will have 3-5 oversights minimum and should anticipate them coming out multiple times to fix the same issues repeatedly, and also make sure you have a backup contact in the event that Oscar stops responding because he is tired of hearing about the numerous fumbles/errors that WILL be had. System Pavers gets a job well done, while Oscar gets a blaring DO BETTER! read more

This company is one of the most professional contractors I have ever dealt with in my entire life. They will bend over backwards to make sure everything regarding your project is done to perfection. Just amazing work!! Make sure you ask for Nestor as your Project Manager! His professionalism and attention to detail as my Project Manager was beyond comprehension. Lennin, who also worked on the project went above and beyond as well. I could not be happier with the results thanks to Nestor, Lennin, and his crew! read more

System Pavers installed a full double driveway and stairway at my home in 2019. We've been happy with the work and look - the pavers really pop. We also had some sidewalk lighting put in and that has been very disappointing. we've had one light after another go out. Frankly, being LED's - they should last many years trouble-free. I called System Pavers and they sent Oscar Gallardo out to take a look. He found a defect in the lighting and fixed it - I'm very grateful. He had such a great helpful attitude and didn't want me disappointed with the workmanship of the lighting or with System Pavers. Oscar took it upon himself to go above and beyond what he probably needed to do and found a solution. System Pavers, you'll want to give this guy a raise! Oscar, thank you for everything you did - you really made my day and fixed my lighting. read more

System pavers renovated one of my dads rental properties. They did pavers in the front yard and backyard. The job turned out amazing. Real professional, and top-tier customer service and superb workmanship. I'm about to close escrow on my first home in 15 days. I'm definitely going to have System Pavers start with my backyard. I have contacted Jose Muniz as he is the one who took care of my father and went above and beyond to makes things happen. read more

Our Project Manager, Nestor, and his crew did a beautiful job on our patio pavers. They completed the installation ahead of schedule which we greatly appreciated. The System Pavers team has done an outstanding job - both in quality of workmanship / service requested and in keeping ahead of the project timeline. Our Project Manager, Nestor, has been extremely helpful, easy to work with, and accommodating of our needs. He has been involved each step of the way and has kept an eye on quality performance and cleanliness of the job site as well. Our new driveway and decking have really helped beautify our home. This is the second time we've utilized System Pavers and would do it again. read more

I would absolutely recommend working with System Pavers! I worked a Michael Skilliter. He did the consultation and design and paperwork portion of our project, and then another individual was the Project Manager . Michael and System Pavers made the HOA process very easy. Michael was informative and responsive. Also System Pavers has a website where you can log on to your account to see the progress / payment breakdown and progression of your project. Overall the quality of the work was top notch. They were quick, efficient and clean. And they have a guarantee on their work, which thus far they have been very responsive. There were not the cheapest of the quotes I received, but overall it was the most worth it because of their professionalism, quality, and guarantee. Overall I am very happy with the service provided, and would without a doubt recommend them to friends and family! read more

Horrible company. told us if we signed the day of the estimate we would get a discount and since we were getting additional bids they would allow us up to 3 days to cancel and get a full refund. We slept on it on realized the price was way out of line so we cancelled in less than 24 hours. 2 weeks later they still have not refunded our down payment of over $5000. We call, we text and they give us lies and excuses. System pavers is extremely dishonorable and cannot be trusted. They are liars through and through. read more

Wow! My yard was transformed from a patio of red bricks done 40 years ago settling over the years to a fabulous patio. I took 4 bids from paving companies the salesmen came out without any samples of product only books with pictures. I told each one exactly what I wanted, and they tried to measure using tapes to get measurements and each one of the 3 others said they would get back to me in a couple days. When Cody (salesmen) came out he was the only one to bring samples. He had the latest technology for measuring exactly what was needed and gave me the bid on the spot. He was the only one to mention drains. Sam (foreman) and his crew worked every day till dusk working together like a well-oiled machine and the finished patio was Mind blowing different. My patio is a showpiece now! System Pavers do an exceptional job. Nestor and his crew do excellent work! Demolition of the old concrete to completion with the pavers (which look like wood) took only about two weeks! My turf looks the nicest in my neighborhood. It has remained looking like the day it was installed. I referred System Pavers to one of my neighbors, but he didn't want to spend the money so he went with the less expensive company and there are weeds growing throughout his new turf. I have yet to see any major weeds coming through my turf. The installation was perfect. Granted I spent way more than I had planned and I went with an upgraded turf but I am so glad I did. When I walk my dogs throughout my neighborhood I look at everyone's turf. I made the right choice going with System Pavers. Josh was my sales guy and Clayton was the Project Manager. While there are no large-scale construction projects without hiccups, System Pavers did an excellent job with our project from start to finish, design to completion. We just received final sign-off from our HOA on the completed project. The price is comparable to other quotes we received - definitely not cheap, but you do get what you pay for. Shout out to our designer, Moe, and PM, Clayton, for keeping us in the loop, getting us the service and final outcome we were hoping for. Thank you!! read more

We got pavers from System several years ago. The pavers look nice however several have bleached out badly from hot tub cleaners. We didn't think that would happen. They built 3 sets of stairs that are TERRIBLE. They build stairs around piles of sand! When the sand leaks out, the pavers become loose. I complained about that being unstable and a stupid way to build stairs at the time and they blew me off. I should have thrown them off my property. Now we're trying to fix and re-glue the stair pavers every time we turn around. The fit and trim of the stairs where they join the house is also very sloppy. I'm trying to figure out what I can use to hide those uneven joints. I'll have to paint, glue and make some miter cuts in wood or metal trim pieces to try to give it a finished look. Adrian Munoz came out the day after this was posted. He is a very polite, intelligent, articulate young man. He said it looked like the previous crew had worked with thin set that was too dry and he found the work unacceptable. He had a meeting the next day with the bosses and he would see what he could convince the bosses to approve. He met with me yesterday and had a crew out today. I agreed to pay for material. They now carry a bull nose for step edged that they didn't have when my job was originally done. I was happy to pay for the bull nose pavers. The crew has completed demolishing the edges of the old steps and have started installing the bull nose. Just beautiful so far. I should have called them sooner. They have bent over backwards to make me satisfied. The part that is finished is just gorgeous! Can't wait to have them do my 2 driveways. They finished the steps today! The mitered corners are Beautiful. The bull nosed bricks give all 3 sets of steps such a great finished look. We chose a mocha color that gives a nice defined highlight that really gives that extra touch. The guys will be coming back out to pressure wash the older work and apply a wet look sealer. Can't wait for the kids to come for a visit and see the new work. Great!! read more

We just had a job at our house completed where System Pavers replaced a rotting wood retaining wall with a new concrete cinder block wall. The team who helped us included Roger Page (Designer), Michael Silva (Project Manager), and Marvin and team (actual labor). The entire crew from start to finish was excellent and we are really satisfied with the work System Pavers has done for us. The wall is state-of-the-art (french drain, etc.) and looks solid. Aside from the actual wall, itself, the team was professional, clean, efficient, and communicated with us well throughout the entire process. Met deadlines, didn't exceed cost, etc. Overall this was a very good experience for us and we would recommend System Pavers and this team to anyone looking for a new retaining wall. read more

It was a rocky start working with Systems Pavers due to a disagreement about project specs. It happens. But a good sales manager (Steve), a super TERRIFIC project manager (Nestor) and an awesome crew (Salvador & Team) completely turned things around for us. Our door step and pavers are beautiful and we are likely hiring them again when we do the rest of our yard. Thanks to Steve for finding a resolution to our initial disagreement over project specs. We couldn't have gone forward without him stepping in. HUGE thanks to Nestor for building a warm relationship of trust with us as customers, for assigning a great crew and for his overall expert oversight of the project. He explained every step to us and critically checked progress along the way. He was meticulous and particular about every little detail, and did not hesitate to have the crew make course corrections if needed. We truly felt like he oversaw and genuinely cared about our project as if it were his own home. We could not ask for more. The crew was a hardworking, efficient team that started on time everyday and cleaned up throughout and at the end of each day. You can trust they know what they're doing and will do it well. Special mention also to Erin for efficiently supporting our project; and to Frank, for assigning Nestor and his crew to us. After our initial disagreement, we did not anticipate leaving this ringing endorsement of System Pavers, and here we are doing just that. What a turnaround! Kudos much deserved. read more

Awesome job System Pavers!!! I searched the internet for local a pavement company that also had great customer service and quality products. Thank you Byron S. Thank you Wade C (Project Manager)- You came onsite to finalize the install and was also onsite everyday. Thank you Kim M. (office representative)- You followed up with me several time to keep the ball rolling and confirm a final install date. Thank you "install team"- Your work was exceptional and you asked question when necessary. Thanks again for practicing safe " Covid-19 social distancing protocols" while onsite.. We enjoyed working with Bill on our first backyard project as new home owners. Dan Burnham, our project manager and his team were equally efficient. I was really worried when I saw I had a leak under my pavers. It has been 2 years since they finished the work. I contacted them and they were very helpful. No problem. They gave me the number of the person in charge of my area. I called him, he called me back. Made an appointment to come over and see the issue. No problem, quick and easy, definitely under warranty. Yay! I thought they would just move the pavers and find the leak and make me get a plumber to fix it. Nope, they found the problem, pulled out supplies and fixed it right up. Put everything back where it was before, added some joint sand all over the place. Then they looked over the patio and fixed some other small things. They were in and out in an hour. I was afraid for no reason. I should have called them sooner. read more

This is our third time working with System Pavers. There's a reason why it's more than one. Courtious Sales people (Chris Fiacco) and the on-sight management (Nester). Very easy to work with while they listened to what we had in mind. They gave suggestions but never attempted to override us. Always stopped by to oversee the work accomplished and always asked if were were happy with how things were turning out. The men that came to do the job worked their tails off. Questionable business practice. Before hiring this company, or any paver company, do your own thorough measurements and find out how much sq. ft. of material come per pallet even if it means calling their supplier directly. After my project was complete I was left with two unused pallets of paver stones, untouched and still shrink wrapped. I know paver companies will order more material then the measurements call for which IS a good idea. But two full pallets worth? After the job was completed I inquired about the unused material and was told by 3 different people associated with the company that the additional pallets were sent in error. It seemed a little too coordinated and dubious. I think (no proof) that excessive material was ordered on purpose for which I was charged for, returned to the supplier after the job was completed and the refund ended up in their pocket minus the restocking fee. The job itself was fine but I felt like I had to twist their arm to do it how I wanted it. It was a small sitting wall I had built along the back/side fence that I share with my neighbors. They initially wanted to build it 3-4 inches away from the fence. They must of sensed that I was on the verge of pulling the plug on the entire project because they put their thinking caps on and did the job how I wanted it. I will neither refer, recommend, or use this company again. Two stars because the wall looks good for which I credit the guys doing the actual work. read more

Such a waste of time. Some dudes were going door to door. Ok, we scheduled an appointment to estimate our front yard. We asked them if they do the design for estimates, and they said we do. A week later a guy comes in and starts selling us absolutely different things. In the end, we agreed that he will send us visuals for our front yard. One week after. This company is legitimately the best in its class. We had 3 bids to remodel our backyard approx 1000 sq feet that had 30 yo cracked concrete that had been painted over. Alec Hunsberger, our design consultant, arrived on time to assess our project and goals. He was communicative and very helpful in understanding our needs. His proposal arrived via Zoom and the presentation was impressive. The estimated cost was in line with what we were expecting but the added discounts and credits were a big plus. The online System Pavers' portal made it very visualize our project timeline. We signed contract mid February and started project mid April. Alec was honest that the pandemic had created some issue with suppliers and a backlog resulted. Our project manager, Roger Torres, was meticulous and easy to communicate and discuss certain things that can pop up during any remodel. He had great insight and solutions for all of our questions during the process. The first day was demo and the crew, especially Jorge Calles, was amazingly organized and impressive. These guys worked hard and safely. I provided fresh cold water, drinks, lunch and snack for them daily because I wanted to and they appreciated it. Our project took about 3 weeks and came in under 50K. We are extremely happy with this company and their services. I highly recommend and anyone who is serious about pavers, can contact me to visit our home in Tustin to personally see their work. The warranty alone is worth every penny. There were some great financing options available at 0% interest but we decided to pay by credit card which did not create a 3% surcharge.
