Great food, generous portions. Service was good and fast, especially considering how busy it was. If going with a group, you'll want to call ahead. read more

Solid local breakfast spot with great coffee, plenty of food choices, and fast service. Portion sizes were reasonable. Server was friendly and attentive. *Went on a weekday morning and they weren't busy. I'd guess only around 15-20% of capacity. Would dine there again. Honestly, didn't even look at the prices. Is what it is. read more

I was in Aurora, IL and needed some substance for a working lunch. This place had all my feels! And they didn't disappoint. The food was spot on! I just wish they were open longer. I'd love to see what they do with dinner. A smart and skillful chef works here. Pay it a visit. read more

Wow! Wow! Wow! Hands down the best place for a proper breakfast I've ever been. The extensive menu, fresh juices, adult beverages were quite a welcome change from the sticky table pancake houses that are everywhere. My wife and I each had a version of their eggs Benedict and both were amazing! Don't think twice about where to go for breakfast even if you have to drive a distance to get there it's well worth the effort. We'll definitely be back. read more

First time patron and won't be back. Staff were attentive and polite. Overall wasn't impressed with the Benedicts and the potatoes were gross. The toffee chipped pancakes were enough to send a teenager into a diabetic coma. I did finish those off tbh. read more

I usually don't rave about breakfast/brunch spots, but I love it here!! I recently tried Syrup for the first time this past week with a friend, and it was so good that I went back the very next day with my family. I couldn't stop talking about how good the food & service was, as well as how cute it is inside! Both times I went, we didn't have to wait long to be seated, and the food came out pretty fast. If there is anything on the menu I'd highly recommend, it would be their Cinnamon Swirl pancakes. Best pancakes I've ever had, and I'm not even big on pancakes. I ordered the syrup/glaze for them on the side though so I could adjust to my liking. read more

Had the KQ breakfast bowl and it was plain. It needed seasoning and a sauce or dressing for the kale. The Smoreo pancakes were also bland with burned tasting Oreos. The crepes & billion dollar bacon were phenomenal, but extremely small portions for the cost. Overall, it wasn't worth it for the 30min drive there and back. read more

The food here is exceptional. Always delicious. Service can be hit or miss because sometimes they are super busy. A wonderful place to have brunch. The specialty bacon is absolutely amazing. read more

My sisters and I tried this place for brunch and we loved it! They have so much seating inside, and we only waited about 20 minutes to be seated (early Saturday morning). My sister had a Limosa and I had a Limeade, both were great! To eat, I ordered the Nova Benedict, which comes with seasoned potatoes. My sister had the Mini Waffle Flight, and my other sister had a Ream's Burger, which comes with waffle fries. We also shared a side of Ham off-the-bone. Everything was fantastic and our server was so friendly! Service was fast and food was great! The decor was super modern and basic, and as basic bitches, we adored it! Thank you!! read more

Syrup locations in Aurora & St Charles. Is nice airy spacious clean always busy. Wait time can be a little long. But I can understand because they're always crowded. Both locations seem to be pretty good at and being fair and balanced with good customer service to. It's a little pricey for breakfast & brunch. There is a good side to that. You do get a large quantity of food. I've taken friends a couple times and they really love Syrup. I think it has something to do with them being individuals with more than one sweet tooth. read more

This was suppose to be a quick stop for breakfast, as we were heading towards a farm nearby. We walked in and the way it was about 45 minutes on a Sunday morning, so we decided to sit at the bar. Luckily there were two chairs open and we were able to get seated immediately and order our meals. We started with coffee and strawberry orange juice and ordered Mediterranean omelette and the legendary breakfast. I didn't get a chance to take more pictures as we started to devour the food. Their portions were large and we definitely couldn't finish our food, so I'd suggest you split couple if possible. read more

This place is so good that we came here for breakfast both mornings we were in Chicago! Omer was our waiter the first morning and Tara waited on us the second, both were extremely nice and helpful. The food was amazing!! We shared the salmon Benedict and the Maui French toast day one and the second day we had the cluck cluck skillet and Maui French toast again. Personally, I think the salmon Benedict and the French toast are to die for! We even got another order of the French toast to go. Their drinks are really tasty as well. The strawberry smash and fields forever were our cocktails of choice and the vanilla cold brew and vanilla latte were our coffees of choice. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu here!! read more

I'd give this place 3.5/5 stars. It's pretty decent when it comes to prices and sizes. I do feel like this place is just an ordinary breakfast place and the food options are pretty basic. Both my friend and I's order weren't nothing crazy and something we could make at home. I would come back though and try more what's on their menu. Would love to see more spontaneous food options on their menu! read more

We have been wanting to go here for a while and finally came. Portion sizes were a medium to large. I got the Nashville Hot chicken sandwich. It was the same chicken they used for all other entrees but smothered with buffalo sauce. Soft bun and really juicy chicken. Waffle fries were seasoned well. I would get it again. My fiance got the chicken and waffles. He didn't like the breading on the chicken but I had the same chicken breast and loved it. Waffles had the perfect texture but he said the only reason we should give a 4 and not a 5 is because it comes with a small little container of syrup and you shouldn't have to keep asking for more syrup in a restaurant called Syrup. Lol. Great service and the wait was only a little more than 10 minutes on a busy Sunday morning. Was a little pricey.... $60 for 3 people. read more

The food was so delicious. Everything was perfectly cooked. We didn't have to wait a very long time. We will definitely be back.

Expensive, small portions, rude service. Will not go back. Ordered twice for take out (thinking we'd give them another chance & the first order was just a fluke) but, no. It was awful both times. read more

I'm new to the leaving reviews type of thing but I love this ! I like the food, but there's a few things I have to complain about .. i don't like the hours they barley let you have time to order and actually sit and enjoy your food. They do have a lot of good breakfast choices. The atmosphere is great and the service is as well. read more

On our visit Sunday 8/7 The food was good, service ok. The restrooms continue to be bad. The permanent soap dispenser was empty and the store bought soap dispenser was empty to the point where patrons took it apart to scavenge the remaining soap from it and left it on the lavatory. The garbage can was full to the point where used paper towels had spilled out on to the floor. The past three times my family and I have dined at Syrup the restrooms were out of both hand soap and paper towels. read more

I was actually the first guest in their door this morning on opening day. They had a friends and family soft opening yesterday. They did a beautiful job on the remodel of the former Colonial Cafe. A bit of sticker shock but the food is high quality. A little hiccup this morning, my eggs, potatoes and sausage patties were served at room temperature. The portions are huge, so I was able to bring half home. Pillowy biscuits and mighty tasty sausage gravy for the win. Look forward to bringing the family here. read more

We are so excited that Syrup is in Aurora. We have visited the one in St.Charles and loved it!!! We ate at Syrup Aurora yesterday for a late lunch. The staff was very friendly. We started with strawberry mint limeade, vanilla frappe and billion dollar bacon (the bacon is amazing!) All the good was tasty! The Maui French Toast is a must and the California Benedict with loaded potatoes hit the spot. The Grownup Grilled Cheese was a neat combination with Truffle Waffle Fries! Jimmi was our waitress and she was professional, efficient and extremely personable . My husband and I had the delicious Legendary Breakfasts with their very crispy home fried potatoes. The fluffy, buttermilk pancakes came with my meal, while my husband had toast. Our guest had the smoked salmon bagel and said it was plentiful and delicious- good bagel, too. We added an order of plain French toast for the table-enough for the three of us to have a piece. Great, extremely fresh OJ, worth the $5 price- nice portion. My friend raved about the white, cream cheese syrup. They told us there was a 25 minute wait at 9 am on a Sunday, summer day, but it was only 10 minutes (plus it was nicely air conditioned with plenty of chairs in the waiting area). Plenty of parking. The total was $75 plus tip for three (plenty of potatoes in our doggy box). No issue receiving free ice tea refills and nice, steaming hot drip coffee (took a bit of time to get refills). We came from downtown Chicago since we picked up our friend at her house in Aurora and it was so good, we probably would come again without her when we feel like a nice, scenic drive. Clean ladies room-always a good sign. read more

I had a fantastic brunch with friends at Syrup. Can I just tell you, this is a new restaurant in Aurora and it really wowed me! There is nothing like this place anywhere nearby. The food and atmosphere were both on point and a huge home run! I ordered a Crabby Cake Benedict and it was amazing! You can definitely taste the quality of the ingredients in this dish. It was accompanied by loaded hash browns which were also very tasty. I had to share! To drink, I had a Strawberry-Mint Limeade which blew my mind. I'm not kidding, you have to order one while they are still on the menu. Service was polite and very accommodating. I will definitely be back to this location when I'm in the area. read more

Amazing breakfast lunch spot with so many options to choose from! We tried the carnivore skillet and it was so large that I took half home with me. It was really good! We also had the Funkey monkey French toast and the Cali eggs Benedict. One of my favorites was the billion dollar bacon and the wide drink selection. You must try it for yourself! Great spot! A very clean and modern looking decor, great service and food was really good. The million dollar bacon does justice to its name; order it, thank me later.
