I enjoyed the nice, hot, and subtle flavored vanilla latte I ordered, with a toasted bagel and a side cream cheese. The location is a nice quiet place to work, study, or read. I was up in Aurora with a friend this morning and she recommended we try Endiro and I was happy we did. Great spot on the corner right next to the water/bridge. You can sit inside or outside on the deck or even take your drink and walk along the water. Open seating and a server was quick to arrive. I wanted to try the cold brew but it wasn't available yet so I went with an iced Americano that was very smooth and didn't have a bite. I tried the Ugandan Rolex which basically felt like an omelette rolled into a tortilla. I enjoyed the tomato and onion along with the salsa verde. I want to come back when the cold brew is available. This place is great. Its right on the river across from the river boat. There is seating downstairs and outside on the patio in addition to the main floor. We had breakfast and coffee, of course. Both the food and service were outstanding. I had the Norteño Rolex. It's like a Mexican omelette, only wrapped in this delicious thin and flaky wrap. You could pick it up and eat it, but since it was piping hot, I opted to eat with a fork. It was very filling. My husband had the Mzungu (waffles and eggs). Also delicious! The coffee was really good. I had the pour over and my husband had the French press. I prefered the pour over taste, although you get about twice as much with the french press. In addition to specialty coffee drinks, they have a good selection of sandwiches (Cheesesteak to Chilaquiles) Smoothies, Milkshakes, fresh squeezed Juices and a few breakfast items including Ugandan Omelets. We ordered a couple of coffees. A Latte and had to try the Crème Brû-Latte. Not the biggest fan of the dessert but Endiro's coffee version was excellent! Service was attentive and friendly. This place used to be my go to spot in Aurora but over the years as gone down in quality and up in price. The steak sandwich was my favorite but the bread was changed to a hoggie from a French roll and now it just gets soggy. It is very rare that I change a 5 star review but the last 3 times I've been here the food has been very bad. They recently changed their menu and took off several good items. Each time we've eaten here they are out of items for purchase. I could understand if it was later in the day but we have been the first customers in each time. Had dropped by on October 4th around 4PM. After taking a seat to dine in, I was never attended nor even approached by any staff, despite checking in that they were open for regular business hours for the day. After having waited for nearly an hour, I ultimately decided on leaving. I recently discovered this cafe at the start of August of 2023 and thoroughly enjoyed coming through whenever passing through town. However, this instance left an overall sour taste and left me hesitant on returning back. The food has always been good along with the coffee. There's the house blend and 3-4 other blends to choose your ordinary cup of Joe which is so very refreshing. There is the expected list of interesting espresso combinations and they have oat, soy and almond milk. I chided them for not having Agave but now I'm being petty, sugar in the raw suffices. Now about the food. Clearly presentation is not their forté. Garnish and adornments will not be making an appearance... service although pleasant was clumsy... had to ask them to remove dirty glasses from previous diners, had to ask for utensils, had to ask for too much! I ordered skirt steak and eggs... skirt steak a bit too chewey, soft scrambled egg... very tiny portion, toast appeared without butter. The bacon jam is good. My lunch companion had the Caprese sandwich which was grilled... it looked okay if not a bit skimpy and naked on the plate. Now about the ambience... the place tries to look shabby, retro, divey, kitschy and it really comes off just plain dirty. Ripped seat cushions and mis matched furniture and FOOD do not mix well. In addition the sugar in the raw was in the dirtiest container... I'm not so squeamish I didn't use it but it still seemed grimy... definitely lost a star on ambience. It has some great tasting coffee, and food as well. Has a few issues with communication and running out of countless items. The prices aren't bad for most stuff. Checked it out for the third time recently at lunch. It was the first time I actually got any coffee or food though. The first time no one ever took my order so I left without trying anything and considered never coming again, but I would. On the second visit they were out of avocados. This virtually eliminated every vegan option so I couldn't eat then. It looked like third time was the charm. Kind of. I had the Aeropress. It's $3.95 a cup. This is a process that forces hot water through precisely measured coffee, however that works. It was good. This would have been even better with sugar. I asked for it. Then I never got it, fuck me. I had the Avocado And Black Bean Torta to eat. It's $7.95 for a kind of Mexican sandwich. This has avocados and mole spiced black beans topped with green leaf lettuce, red onions, and tomatoes. It comes with a side. The one I got was the Hot Cassava Wedges. Basically these were like fries. They were good. Would have been even better with ketchup. Again I asked. Then once again I never got, fuck me twice. Great tasting coffee and food. If the service would improve it would be incredible. They need better training for the waitstaff. read more

We were glad we stopped by Endiro Coffee last weekend! It is in a prime location right off the river and easy parking right off the street. The inside space is a bit tight when you walk in on the main floor. We were also confused on how to order but then were directed to the sign that said their menus were available online via the QR code. We mentioned we wanted to sit outside and a few minutes later an associate came up to us telling us we can just order at our table out there. Ok cool, outside we go. The tables up top were taken so we ventured downstairs to their other seating. Unfortunately no one came to grab our order after waiting awhile so ended up coming back up to the top level and taking a table that opened up there. Someone came and greeted us with minutes up there and we finally got to order- woo hoo for food! We both got the sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwiches. The bread was fantastic. It was fluffy and cooked perfectly as well as the eggs and sausage. It was nothing fancy but exactly what we were looking for. Our server accidentally over charged us but I caught it before we left. It seemed like a genuine mistake. Their mission is incredible and I really liked the chill lounge space downstairs. It opens up right to the lower level patio space and is unique. #1 brunch in Montgomery/ Aurora. They offer a Ugandan omelette (called a Rolex); there're several variants that come wrapped in a chapati (flatbread, thinner and lighter than naan). Other notable cool items: sun-brewed tea, african coffee with masala, croque madame, cassava wedges, portabello roll - I could go on forever! I tried the layered sticky bun latte (cinnamon and hazelnut) along with the black tie (blackberry, lavender and white chocolate): they were as beautiful as they were delicious! The African coffee comes as a pot that is big enough to share. For the entree I went with the Mzungu - gluten free chia waffles, Wisconsin syrup with eggs and bacon. In general they have a ton of GF items and I would highly recommend Endiro if you have an allergy/ need accommodations. Friendly service, unique offerings, cool ambiance with close proximity to the water/canoe chute. Endiro is hands down my new go-to when visiting Aurora. read more

This was an Aurora gem and easily walk-able for a brunch spot near the Holiday Inn. It seemed like everyone in my group enjoyed their coffee/drinks/breakfast/lunch items. What initially caught my eye on the menu was the Ugandan Rolex. I was like, whoa, what the heck is that? Then I looked at the menu again and saw a description of the rolex defining it as an omelette rolled in chapati, a type of flatbread - hence "roll-egg". Cool, I'll try that. The rolex was essentially a breakfast burrito with a different version of tortilla, but that is not to say that it was not delicious. My therapist Charles P. Thompson once said that breakfast burritos come in all shapes, sizes, and types of bread, and I certainly enjoy them in any form. I asked for some hot sauce expecting a standard tabasco or tapatillo and was surprised when they brought out some habanero sauce that I hadn't heard of. I do not remember what it was called and I forgot to take a picture but I definitely enjoyed the hot sauce. I also enjoyed the mango jungle smoothie which I opted for instead of coffee. It would be a unique set of circumstances for me to ever visit Aurora again, but I would stop here again in that event. read more

It was our 1 year old's birthday, so we decided to celebrate by taking our little family out to dinner. Since the tot doesn't have much to say, we chose Endiro for him since it had been awhile since we were there last. They have a nice variety of options for everyone. The menu is a good size, plenty of options but not so many it is overwhelming. In the past my go to is the Bang Bang Chicken, but unfortunately they were out of that. (#COVIDproblems) I ordered the Pearl Club with a side of samosas. It did not disappoint. The bacon was the perfect amount of crispy, and the mango salad jazzed up the sandwich. I can't say enough about the samosas. They were delicious!! The pastry was perfectly golden and crispy, and the filling was seasoned nicely and a bit spicy, as expected. My 7 year old ordered a grilled cheese, which he really liked as evidenced by the clean plate afterward. We also shared a chocolate lovers milkshake for dessert. And by shared I mean I had about 2-3 sips, and he had the rest! It was amazing, so I can't blame him! My husband had the patty melt with a side of fruit. He didn't rave about it, but no complaints either. He doesn't typically get excited about too much. For dessert he ordered the Sticky Bun Latte. I have had this before, and it tastes exactly as described! If you like coffee and cinnamon buns, this is your drink. Finally, the birthday boy celebrated his first 12 months Earthside with a Nanonutter sandwich, which is peanut butter, Nutella, and banana slices on wheat bread. He was having an experience, to say the least. He also appreciated a few sips of a chocolate lovers shake. All in all, a great experience. A low key dinner out in an eclectic coffee shop.
