I would recommend this place more for their coffee than their food. I had the grilled caprese. I wasn't very happy with it. They have very unique sides though - veggie samosas, chips, and chille. But I would definitely recommend this restaurant for its coffee. They have some unique flavors - we got their Flava in da Caramel Latte and the Laid Back Vanilla Mocha. The caramel latte was more bitter than expected but the mocha tasted just as I thought; very sweet. They bring you your coffee pre-mixed, so the milk, espresso, and other flavoring is divided and you mix it all together yourself - pretty unique! Would return for their coffee! read more

Endiro Coffee is the kind of place my heart always longs for when I'm thinking about losing myself in a good book. It's open space, but somehow cozy. It's friendly staff are never overbearing. It's just perfect for a latte on an easy day. My husband and I found ourself at EC while looking for a local coffee roaster. We wanted to pick up a bag of grounds for a Christmas present, but we ended up staying for a drink. They also sell food, but we had just eaten so we didn't partake. Upstairs is a little more work friendly, but downstairs we found couches and communal seating. The whole place has a traditional meets urban feel. So if you're with a group, make your way downstairs. And our waitress had no issue delivering or drinks downstairs and she actually did come and check on us before we cashed out which I didn't expect at all. I ordered a latte and I really appreciated that I was asked if I wanted a dark, medium, or light roast. I went with a medium and my latte was perfect. Just enough pick me up, not too sweet, and a smooth taste. I would absolutely come back to EC for drinks or a nice, leisurely lunch. This is a coffee shop my son likes and he suggested we give it a try on the Saturday I visited. Located in downtown Aurora next to the bridge on New York St., the location offered quite a lot of appeal for me. The facility itself had a pleasant vintage feel. We had no trouble parking but I could see where that could be an issue at times. It was relatively busy when we walked in though we were able to sit down and be served very quickly. In general, I thought the service was polite and efficient. There were several options on the menu, including some food items that sounded as though they might be good. But we were there for the java. I tried an Americano while my son had a Woodneck pour-over. We were both happy with our selections and with the ambiance this place offered. The latter is just as important for a coffee shop as the former. The prices were a tad on the expensive side but, for what it was, I thought the cost was worth it. Me and my group of 5 friends road our bikes from Lombard on the Prairie Path to Aurora just to have coffee and eat at Endiro Coffee. I ordered a hot chocolate and a BLT French Toast sandwich. The sandwich came with two slices of French toast topped with bacon, arugula, oven-dried tomatoes and I got the eggs scrambled. The presentation of the food was perfect and the BLT French Toast sandwich was delicious, even my friends were jealous. This has absolutely been the worst service I've gone to in a breakfast place. I'm a regular customer that got into the restaurant at 10:45 because I moved my car from the parking lot out of the Pride Parade. I placed my order at 11 AM. I ordered a BLT French Toast and a smoothie. The smoothie came at 11:10 and was virtually ignored for more than 65 minutes while I watch 5 cops behind me get their order and left, a couple that sat next to me at the bar that had the most complex order eat and leave and another set of customers that sat where the cops were at and got their order after 45 minutes Parade or not, I'm a regular customer who normally waits 30 minutes for my food on Sundays I've come for lunch. Endiro Coffee is by far my favorite thing about downtown Aurora. Everything about this coffee shop is five star worthy... customer service, crafted coffee beverages, quality food, the atmosphere, the glassware... I love it all. My favorite thing about Endiro is that I can comfortably post up here with my lap top to get some work done, but also have a quality breakfast, lunch, or hell - even dinner! They open early and close late, offer free wifi, and even have servers that wait on you. It's so refreshing to be able to come to a welcoming space where you can hang out and enjoy quality food/drink while also not feeling like you have overstayed your welcome with your computer. My favorite drink to get here is their Black Tie Special (either hot or iced). This bevy is made up of espresso, milk, blackberry, lavender, and white chocolate. The last time I had it it was served in an adorable mason jar glass with a straw and a spoon and a little snickerdoodle cookie. Adorable! #instagramworthy #belongsonyelp I was feeling a little under the weather today, and since I already enjoyed a coffee and was still hanging out at Endiro a couple hours later, I opted for their (caffeine free) peppermint tea. It came with a nice hot tea kettle and a sand timer with three vials clocking the time for mild, medium, and strong taste! So cool. The best part? Free refills. The great reviews here convinced me to choose Endiro for breakfast, especially because my husband loves coffee. While the food and coffee didn't arrive hot, I think that's more due to the (3rd party) delivery service and not the restaurant. The food was still good, but the Aeropress coffee was pretty tepid, so my husband didn't finish it. We all agreed that if everything had been delivered a little more promptly or maybe if it wasn't a colder day out, it would have been perfect! So, I've decided to review based on that. I'm only mentioning it so others won't be disappointed if they have the same experience. As a general note, everything was packaged well, arrived in good shape, and is very fairly priced. The portions are reasonable, too - everyone was able to finish their food and feel satiated. If you're a big eater, you may want to order more - which shouldn't be a problem since the prices are so reasonable! My daughter absolutely loves the juice (I forget what it was called - it's the apple, orange, and watermelon one), and enjoyed The Mzungu: waffles, scrambled eggs, and bacon. The bacon was her favorite part, and she said the waffles could have been crisper but were still tasty. I ended up finishing what she couldn't, and really enjoyed it. The eggs in particular seemed very fresh. My husband wolfed down his meal - the Ugandan Rolex and 2 over easy eggs with toast. Overall, the food seems to be high quality, fresh, and is fairly priced. I think it's probably best to visit this place in person to really enjoy everything as it should be enjoyed, BUT it's still worth trying delivery - just be prepared if you're picky about coffee temperature. read more

We waited about 15 minutes before our waitress came to our table and took our drink order. We then ordered some food and my husband wanted the Aurora Cheese steake, which they were out of.. Mind you, I've been here 2x before and they're ALWAYS out of something.. If it's not available, take it out of the menu!! Anyway, she put in my order and said she would come back once my husband chose something else to eat. She comes back, "takes his order" and our pastry order and then MY food comes out 20 minutes later.. My husband's food never came, nor did the pastries we ordered. She never came back to our table, the staff was behind the kitchen playing around with each other, not acting professional either... they were being childish! I ask the worker that's close by what's taking so long for the orders? I told him about the situation and he says "Let me check if your husband's order was put in." He comes back and says it wasn't. So I paid for my food and left. The pastries are literally right there too so I don't know why she never gave them to us either. Another customer left as well saying "Nice service!" Sarcastically. We loved this cute little coffee shop! Their chicken and waffles are delicious! Best anywhere, seriously! We hit this restaurant after we finished riding the 18ish mike trail nearby. We were definitely ready to refuel, and boy were we happy we stopped here. We started with some drinks, which they serve with a yummy cookie. The chixken and waffles came out soon after. This is a really cool coffee shop in an old building on the Fox River---think exposed brick, high ceilings, lots of light. And they have labeled vegan items. In the past you'd have to go 40 miles east to Chicago to get something like this. Best of all, they don't just serve simple coffee; they serve Ugandan coffee with three different types of filter methods, from the rustic to the high-tech. I got the Hario Woodneck coffee ($3.50) which they make with a cotton cloth filter and serve in a glass decanter. It's an unusual preparation, with rare beans, and great taste---earthy, aromatic. The avocado toast ($5) is normally served only until 11 a.m. but on weekends they might serve it longer. It's a small portion, on crispy bread with an ultra-thin sun-dried tomato spread, and tastes all right. The veggie samosas ($3.50) are also vegan (but this isn't indicated on the menu) and quite tasty. Endiro also has quality loose-leaf teas, including a Ugandan variety that tasted great ($3.50). The service was really friendly, helpful and attentive. I'd give Endiro an extra star if they had vegan baked goods and a couple more vegan food items (how about a tofu or seitan sandwich?). Great place to get coffee! And if you have 2 hours to spare and wait for your food even better! Love the atmosphere and the coffee, however the service and food experience was terrible... the table next to us came in about 10min after us ordering the same food as us and 30min later they got their food first before my husband and I... we didn't think much of it since I have benefit of the doubt, I'm a first time customer and didn't know what to expect.. While waiting for my food there was also a coffee rush from the Pride Parade happening... very disappointed to see the baristas call the to go customers stupid while making their coffee... overall, professionalism and proper server zoning needs to be better I will not be coming back sadly read more
