We were looking for a local coffee and donut shop before visiting my girlfriend's grandma and stumbled across this place tucked between Little Pop's Pizza and New China. It was bright, clean, and busy on an early Saturday morning, with a friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. We ordered a box of four donuts along with a Triple Mocha and a Caramel Latte. The total came to $30.92 after tax... ouch. Our coffees couldn't have been more different. The Triple Mocha was smooth, rich, and full of chocolate flavor without being overly sweet. The Caramel Latte, however, tasted oddly synthetic with a slightly burnt finish. If I'd tried them blind, I wouldn't have guessed they came from the same shop. I was happy; she was disappointed. The donuts were fresh, dense, and clearly made with quality ingredients. They were good (not great) cake donuts, but not quite memorable enough to justify the premium price tag. Overall, we enjoyed the experience more than we didn't, and Grandma loved the coffee cake donuts we brought her. The atmosphere, service, and Triple Mocha stood out, while the inconsistent coffee and steep pricing held it back a bit. We'd come back to try their brunch or a few different donuts, though based on this first visit, I don't expect our overall impression to change much. 3.5/5 read more

Came in to grab some ice cream, so glad we did. The shop is adorable, very clean & spacious. Their ube honeycomb was a beautiful vibrant purple color with a delicious taste & the sesame peanut butter flavor I got was unreal. I am not a huge sweets lover, so when I get a craving for something sweet, I am always happy when it tastes amazing. The caramel iced latte tastes like dulce de leche , the owner was so friendly and said they make the caramel in house. amazing. Loved this local spot! read more

One of my favorite donut spots in the area! They can sell out quickly, so I definitely recommend placing an order ahead of time when you can. I love their B.E.C. sandwich, and the mango matcha is always a go-to for me. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful, and the overall vibe makes it one of my favorite regular spots. Just be prepared for a bit of a wait during busy times , it's popular for a reason! The owner is fantastic!! read more

Stopped at Petit Three's stand at the Naperville Farmer's Market. The strawberry matcha was delicious! Everyone working was very friendly and it seemed like such a family atmosphere. I also ordered a strawberry donut, but felt it tasted more like lemon. I will be stopping by (or in) again to try their Samoa donut that looks amazing! read more

I stopped by Petit Three in need of a bite to eat and was invited in by their cheerful and spacious dining area. I appreciated their helpful and friendly baristas, which explained to me that the morning deal they offer is only for hot lattes. Their food menu is quite impressive, with very unique and delicious spins on classics like avocado toast and breakfast sandwiches. I ordered the B.E.C. and iced horchata latte (16oz). The bacon, aioli, caramelized onions, all of it, wow, best I've ever had. I think breakfast sandwiches have been ruined for me everywhere. The coffee was tasty, not nearly as memorable. The prices did strike me as outrageously high, which will likely limit how much I'd return here, however, I do not think I can live out my life not coming back a few more times to try their other food items. read more

Here on a Saturday so of course it is busy. Not many donuts available but hey that's good for them right? Someone's order was missing so now there are 4 of them working on an order for two people. I'm only here because I have a birthday coupon that expires today. Someone else's order is finally ready but it's supposed to be to go but they made it for here. There's only one person who knows how to do the coffee and no one is manning the register. It's been about 20 minute waiting for 2 donuts. Sigh. Donuts are good but don't come on a weekend! read more

High quality ingredients here! Petit three is a small and locally owned spot with handmade donuts. A group of 3 of us came in on a Saturday morning and it was packed! I was not expecting it to be so busy given that we went bright and early. It was great to see this business doing so well. Even with it being crowded, the staff members were able to keep up with the influx of orders and everything came out in a timely manner. I love how light and bright the inside is. Im a big fan of whites and blues and thought it was designed well. It's beautiful! For my drink I tried the masala chai and I didn't love it. It tasted artificial and was too sweet for my liking. That's okay! I may stick to drip coffee next time. Now the donuts?! Delicious!!! I had the strawberry shortbread and a Nutella espresso. Between the 2 cake donuts I preferred the Nutella espresso. The flavors for both are rich and strong but I think the strawberry 1 was TOO potent for me. My 1 tip lol to the biz - I really hope they bring back the Matcha donut bc I am missing it! read more

First time having their coffee and breakfast sandwich this morning. Unfortunately, they were out of the black sesame which is what I came for. I ordered an iced vanilla latte instead. You can tell they make their own syrup. It looks like there are vanilla flecks in my latte. It is very balanced and good! I also love how they have all the milk options - regular, almond, oat, coconut and soy! I ordered the SEC sausage breakfast sandwich and it was delicious. The bread was so good and fluffy. Though delicious, I'm typically more of a classic breakfast sandwich person and it was a little heavy for me. I look forward to trying a basic sandwich next time - just sausage, egg and cheese which I'm sure they can make even though it's not on the menu. Can't wait to go and try more! read more

It's a nice little find hidden in a strip malls next to Mariano's in Aurora. They sell doughnuts individually or you can buy boxes of four, six, or a dozen. When I stopped in, they happened to have four unadorned donuts remaining thus I was able to choose my flavors, and went with strawberry shortbread, burnt & salty, and Samoa. I didn't taste the Samoa but I had some of the others. My favorite was probably the burnt & salty, and it had a delicious flavor that had some notes of maple in it. The strawberry did taste of berry but not sickly sweet or artificial, and it had some added texture with the crumbs on part of it. I have to be honest that the donut isn't really my type of donut--it's much more dense than what I like if I'm going to have a donut (which isn't my favorite pastry, either). But the flavors they have are really creative and they do it well. They also have coffees and tea on their menu, and some savory stuff as well--the toasts sounded really good. I was told that it was ideal to leave the box open if not eating them immediately, so that the glazes could solidify a bit more quickly. I'll bet they're delicious when the glaze is warm! Service was really friendly, and the place was immaculately clean. Since it's the suburbs it probably goes without saying that parking is easy, but I'll say it anyway. read more

This place is next-level delicious serving far more than just donuts! Yes, the donuts are insanely fresh with creative, rotating flavors, but what really blew us away were the breakfast sandwiches - easily some of the best we've had anywhere. Gourmet, thoughtfully crafted, and made with many organic or local ingredients, whether it's the food, coffee, or teas. The vibes here just as impressive - stylish, cozy, and welcoming, with comfy chairs and charming decor that makes you want to stay awhile. To top it all off, the staff are warm, attentive, and clearly care about creating a great experience. Truly a gem of a spot. 6/5 stars, no question. read more

Ice cream is my favorite ever! Have yet to try the donuts. Very friendly staff and good atmosphere. Love this place!

My boyfriend and I are visiting from LA and didn't expect too much in terms of food/coffee, but we were so pleasantly surprised! The sausage and egg sandwich was INCREDIBLE and the avocado toasts were delicious as well, and I am very picky about my avocado toast! I also enjoyed the donuts and coffee. Petit Three Doughnuts is easily the best gourmet doughnut shop in the area and my go to for a little sweet treat. The doughnut flavors rotate, and each one is creative and delicious. My personal favorite is the burnt & salty (honorable mention to dreamy matcha, love you girl), but you really can't go wrong picking a flavor. The beverages are great as well - clean espresso flavor, strong, and sweet. I highly recommend the caramel or horchata latte. The atmosphere of the shop is warm and inviting while also feeling elevated. The people working in the shop are very kind and knowledgeable about the menu. For a place known to be Petit, this doughnutery sure knows how to make donuts with GRANDIOSE flavor! My sister and I gave Petit Three Doughnuts a visit after I saw a video on TikTok of the donuts they had. Although we stopped by towards the end of the day and not many donut flavors were remaining, we were delightfully satisfied nonetheless! Firstly, what a cute space! It is well-lit, has ample seating, a minimalist aesthetic, and would be a great place to work remotely or hang out with friends. The staff were friendly, attentive, and had our order prepped in great time. We ordered a half dozen donuts, which included the following, ranked from my most-favored to my least-favored (all were delicious!): Coming in at #1: The Salted Cookie Butter Donut - this was SOOO yummy! By the time we had it, the pretzels atop had softened, but I imagine that if we'd come in the morning, the crunch would've been sensational. You can never go wrong with cookie butter in donut form... #2: The Samoa Donut - a perfectly balanced combination of coconut, chocolate, and glaze. This was delightful and I would absolutely order again! #3: The Cinnamon Coffee Cake Donut - truly coffee cake encapsulated in donut-form. This is an absolute HIT with a cup of coffee or black tea! #4: Black Sesame Lavender - I'm a big fan of black sesame in form of treats and drinks! I enjoyed this donut, but would enjoy it more-so without the lavender. #5: Burnt & Salty - a unique combination of flavors! I enjoyed this donut and initially thought it was going to be my favorite one. I think if there was a bit more miso flavor (umami and saltiness) it would've ranked higher in my list. #6: Blueberry Basil - Although it doesn't rank at the top of my list, I loved the unique combination of blueberry and basil. I definitely picked up on both flavors! I also enjoyed a hot cup of the Stay Awhile latte. I loved the medley of ingredients and how tasty it was. I added a bit more sweetener and it was a PERFECT cup of cozy. Overall, my experience at Petit Three Doughnuts was wonderful and I highly recommend this spot to all foodies and donut-lovers that are in the area! read more

My sister took me to Petit Three Doughnuts because she is a huge fan! They were sadly out of many of the donuts, but we got there after 4pm so that's to be expected. This is a great doughnut shop if you love cake doughnuts. From a business standpoint, it's genius. Every doughnut is a vanilla cake so it's really streamlined, but they're topped with several different options. The Coffee Cake doughnut was my favorite. It reminded me of those packaged coffee cakes from my childhood, but those were dry. These were really fantastic. I really liked the Samoa doughnut, but the almond extract was just slightly overpowering for me. Still really good and I'd recommend though. The Burnt & Salty is quite good if you love brown butter. Which you should. Everyone should love "beurre noisette" as the French call it. The Blueberry Basil hits you with both flavors. Loved the fresh basil. -It packed a bit of an unexpected punch. Strawberry Shortcake and Cacao were both good, but kinda forgettable. Same with the Maple Bacon. If these doughnuts were yeasted (raised), I'd be here every Sat and I'd weigh 200 lbs. (Don't forget to grab a coffee. While the horchata latte was expectedly sweet, it was quite good.) read more

"I'm so happy right now!" Is what I said after a few bites of this avocado toast- it's SO good! The bread is perfect- crunchy on the edge, chewy and soft and holds up well to the healthy amount of perfectly ripe avocado with tomatoes, cotija cheese, arugula, pickled onion, and bacon jam (add on). You can also add on a jammy egg, I'll have to try that next time. I had this for lunch and it was a meal! The vanilla latte is delicious and very fairly priced! My friend brought us a bunch of donuts to try and they were also dreamy- I especially liked the Burnt and Salty (brown butter glaze infused with wildflower honey and miso) and the strawberry one. read more

We had the opportunity to try Petit a few weeks ago at the Naperville farmers market. Their breakfast sandwiches, made on the spot, and donuts, were amazing. We happened to be driving through Aurora and decided to make a pit stop at their cafe. The location is tucked just behind Mariano's which made parking easy. We ordered online for pickup and they were finishing up just as we arrived (we were early). We ordered the HEC and ricotta toasts, both of which were fantastic. We also gave the blueberry basil, vanilla and Nutella donuts a try. Very glad we stopped in today! We didn't grab photos of the food as we devoured it before we had the chance. read more

The S.E.C is INCREDIBLE. it's fluffy and sweet and buttery and just so delicious. They make it right on the spot, so you might need to wait a bit, but I promise it's worth it. Premium donut shops have really stepped up their game in the Chicago Suburbs, probably because the city game keeps getting better as well now with another strong addition of Voodoo doughnuts near the loop. With lots of mochi donut and other fun options opening up, petit three manages to stand out in a crowded market with a more unique offering. The shop itself is quite upscale looking and the service is quick and friendly. If there's not too many doughnuts available to be picked up immediately, it is because they make the product very fresh here and this is reflected by the moist yet dense bounciness of the cake itself. The flavors here are quite different from what you'll see elsewhere like blueberry basil, orange burst, dreamy matcha, and olive pistachio. Even with the more common sounding flavors, there are unexpected ingredients like smoked bacon, miso, vermont maple, and cacao nibs. These ingredients are quite distinct and you'll definitely notice the quality with each bite. Same with the drinks, made from the finest ingredients as well. The presentation is also premium, evidenced by the careful construction of each donut or drink. Overall, worth it for a premium experience to treat yourself. It's delicious and different from other doughnut shops around. read more

Whoever is coming up with this menu is unreal. I always love a place with some aspect of experimentation or deviation from the norm on the menu (although they make obvious hits too - like strawberry shortcake), and they pair it here with incredible execution. I had a miso and wildflower honey donut that kind of broke my brain. On top of an amazing ability to pair flavors, they have the execution. The texture of their items are mind blowing. Nothing dry and gritty. Had a sandwich with the softest English muffin I've ever had. So, totally recommend this place. Only thing I wish is that they had more of a specialty coffee type setup to pair with food on this level. read more

Way overpriced for the quality. $11 for an OK muffin (unless you want avocado, of course, then it's $13) and $32 a dozen for a mildly unpleasant doughnut. Don't forget to tip. The $11 for the pre-avocado muffin doesn't include making it and handing it to you. To their credit, the muffin is better than McDonalds, just not 3x better to justify the price. I don't think the doughnut was supposed to be bitter, so maybe your doughnut will be better. I was here several months ago and was happier. Maybe just an off day. But for $18 after tip for a muffin and doughnut you really can't have off days. read more

This is a super cute cafe. The atmosphere is very warm and inviting. Today was my first time there and I have to say I really enjoyed my visit. I tried the caramel latte and it was superb.
