    Matcha latte

This place was cute and had ample seating-- though nearly every seating option was leather and they've got lots of animal fur rugs. If that's your jam - you may like this place more than I did. I enjoyed the matcha latte and the latte art was gorgeous. Service was good, wifi connection was good; this place would be a nice remote work environment.

We've been coming to Society 57 almost bi weekly, the space is always super clean, and welcoming, with a modern and cozy atmosphere. We really like the coffee here, it's so flavorful, they also have a self-serve water station with glasses and cups, which is such a thoughtful touch and makes the experience even better. We've tried the croissants several times, but personally, I'm not the biggest fan of the consistency since they lean more toward a puff pastry style (which tends to flake apart into layers more than the traditional bread-like dough of a classic croissant). That's just my preference though, plenty of people might really enjoy that lighter, flakier texture. It would be to see a few more food options or a slightly larger bread/pastry menu though, but besides that, we highly recommend it!

Great coffee shop in downtown Aurora! Across from the library. Very spacious, good vibe, nice decor! Americano was excellent! AND their avocado toast was so awesome! I love avocado toast and try them at new coffee shops or restaurants. Not many places have such fresh avocado toasts but this shop offers very fresh avocado toast!!! I am so happy to find a great coffee shop! Anytime I visit Aurora, I have to be back.

Talk about AESTHETIC literally the perfect place to come & study, read a book, or just enjoy a light meal/snack & drink. I stumbled upon this on accident and definitely plan on returning. I wish they had longer hours but I'm grateful in the same breath... I don't think I'd ever leave! I do feel their small bites are a little overpriced, but they're definitely good so I can't say I wouldn't pay the price again. I also notice they seem to be very community-centered- there were a lot of other business' information, things to do around Aurora, etc. Would recommend any day!

This is such a beautiful coffee shop! Very spacious, lots of natural light and cozy seating. The employees were really nice and kind. Their food and pastries are delicious. Love that they have many seating options and the game of chess available to play. (: gorgeous plants as well !

This morning I tried a Latte and the Smoked Salmon Croissant. Let me tell you, the Croissant was fabulously flaky with the perfect amount of lemony smoked salmon. The service was quick and everyone greeted me with a smile. The ambiance was relaxing and laid back.

Honey Spice Latte on the right and Coconut Lavender latte(??)
    Cami K.

Ambiance (and price...) were very NYC style but coffee was VERY lackluster. The space was also quite small. I was under the impression it would be much bigger after carefully looking at the pictures and comparing this cafe with others in the area. I got the Honey Spice Latte and thought it would be perfect for my scratchy throat due to the sudden cold weather but it strangely didn't taste like honey... nor spice? My partner got the Coconut Lavender latte (really not sure don't remember) which was entirely too sweet. Very disappointed but not surprised given the theme/concept. Save your money on drinks but nice place to study with 1 other person.

This coffee house has it all! Aromatic coffee, flaky pastries, roomy and comfy seating, vibing music (not too loud!), and friendly staff. My favorites were the Vietnamese Coffee by Nguyen with condensed milk and the prosciutto manchego croissant. The coffee was strong without being bitter and the pastry was flaky with a nice saltiness from the prosciutto and toasted notes from the sesame topping. Come here to relax, work, catch up with friends! Do it all at the have it all coffee house!

Honey spice latte, Black Forest matcha and coconut chocolate almond croissant

I love this place! My husband and I are visiting family and wanted to grab a nice latte to sip on while doing errands. To our surprise, this place was so inviting , warm and cozy that we decided to drink our lattes there. We also ordered a coconut chocolate almond croissant. It honestly was the most delicious croissant I've ever had. They heated it up so it was gooey delicious. To drink, I ordered a honey spice latte and my husband got a Black Forest matcha latte. Both had unique tastes and beautiful latte art. I highly recommend and promise I'll be back to have more of this menu. The staff is so friendly and brings all the items you ordered to your seated area (which by the way is plentiful and nicely decorated). The place has a NYC loft vibe and I just love it. It's relaxing: quiet enough to study and work from if you need to. I highly recommend trying this spot, it is just wonderful!

The menu is simple and easy to navigate, which I actually appreciate -- no overwhelming options, just solid choices done well. The space is on the smaller side, but it still feels open and comfortable. It definitely seems like a great spot to work remotely or knock out some homework. The food was really good, and the coffee delivered too. I ordered my food to go, so I didn't get to fully soak in the ambiance, but the overall vibe was inviting. A heads up: the maple aioli has a little kick to it, but not overpowering. My picture do not do the food justice. I'd absolutely come back, especially to stay and enjoy it next time.

The inside had three areas of seating with tables & chairs and some lounge chairs. I asked the staff member what flavor lattes they offered as the menu was a bit confusing. I had previewed a menu online and didn't see half those flavors listed on the menu board nor by the register. I ended up ordering a 12oz hot honey lavender latte. The coffee beans itself tasted a bit burnt to me which altered the whole flavor of the drink. I also ordered the Bacon, Egg, & Cheese Bagel as they serve Jake's Bagels here. The sandwich was good but could have used a sauce. I also didn't get much of the cheese flavor. My entire order was just over $16 which also felt a bit high for what I ordered. I think this location is cute but could make some improvements to better compete in the area.

Today I took the initiative to actually give this place a try, instead of continuously passing it by. Moka is a cute and small coffee shop that has a pretty broad menu. I was actually surprised at all the menu options. My experience is strictly pertaining to the drive thru. Unlike a traditional drive thru an employee will come outside and take your order face to face. I always like when establishments do this because it makes the experience more personable- and I feel more comfortable asking about menu items. Today I got a medium iced caramel macchiato and the chorizo breakfast burrito. Both were really really good. The burrito comes with a side of hot sauce, and I feel the portion is super filling. My iced caramel macchiato was very tasty, not watered down, and I liked how I could actually taste the caramel. As far as prices go I paid $13.38, it's similar to what I would pay at Starbucks. It can get a bit pricey. Luckily for me- after doing a bit of research I found that Moka does have an app and a rewards program. I just think they should advertise it a little bit more. But other than that I truly enjoyed my first experience here. I'm glad I have another coffee shop to diversify where I get my coffee. Starbucks now officially has a little competition lol!

They can be super convenient, in my case because I don't have to struggle with a toddler and hot beverage at the same time. If I was not risk averse I'd consider it a business opportunity! It seems popular, as there was a steady stream of cars in line, probably at least five when I arrived. One of the employees came out to take our order whilst we were waiting in line a la Portillo's. It did mean that the drink I ordered was ready more quickly, but I wasn't able to study the menu as long. They don't have their full menu on the board, which is annoying. All the drinks are listed (with the exception of any specials they may have, which they may or may not have) and the menu board says to ask about the food they carry but the food isn't listed. There's a digital sandwich board that cycles through some of their items and specials, but you can't always catch everything as the images cycle through. The hot chocolate I ordered was really good. I also ordered a couple of sausage muffins and they were delicious. I haven't tasted something quite like it and I wish I knew where to get them for my own kitchen! They have sausage, cheese, egg (I think) and a bit of maple flavor to them. They don't say this on the description but I think they may be baked in a little bit of pancake mix because there seemed to be a dough that encased all the ingredients. I'm going to have to look for a recipe because I've made egg muffins before too but this is a good way to make sure that they retain their shape well and probably also reheat better. If I'm in the area I'll definitely come back to Moka.

One of Aurora's (Chicago Suburbs) Best Boba Tea Spots!…read more After traveling around the world and tasting boba from Taiwan to Singapore, I can confidently say that Vannie House in Aurora delivers some of the best tapioca pearls I've had in the U.S. The pearls are perfectly chewy, fresh, and absolutely on par with the quality I've experienced in top-tier Asian tea shops. One thing I really appreciate is the tapioca-to-drink ratio. Most boba shops either overload you with pearls or drown everything in too much liquid. Vannie House nails the balance, every sip and scoop feels intentional and well crafted. I tried several drinks on my visit: M9 (modified with Thai Tea) -- Smooth, flavorful, and extremely well blended. A3 Orange Peach with Black Tea -- Sweet, refreshing, and surprisingly layered in flavor. Hot Chai Tea -- Rich, warm, and incredibly smooth. Easily one of the best chai teas I've had at any boba shop. The interior decor is also a standout, clean, modern, cozy, and aesthetically designed. It's the kind of place you actually want to sit and enjoy your drink rather than rush out. Huge shoutout to Niko, whose recommendations were absolutely on point. Friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, exactly the kind of service that keeps you coming back. If you're in Aurora and looking for high-quality boba tea, Vannie House (my #47 Boba Tea Spot) is a must-try. I'll 100% be returning whenever I'm in the area.

The weird part was asking if i had a punch card and when i said no they didn't offer me one either? Either way, i got the taro strawberry smoothie and a hazelnut iced coffee. Neither of us enjoyed the drinks because they're very syrup heavy resulting in a drink that's wayyyyy too sweet. It just tastes like drinking concentrated syrup and powder blended/mixed with milk. Barely tasted any taro. Having some real ingredients like frozen strawberries with taro powder is what I'd expect at this price point. Not both ingredients being powdered and syrups. The tapioca itself was really good, soft and not too chewy. But there's just way too much of it, you're eating boba more than enjoying a drink. The brown sugar syrup that the boba sits in doesn't help with the additional sweetness in the drink. Wouldn't recommend for real drinks
