They also let you build your own combinations, and a recent banana brown sugar iced latte I dreamed up was exactly as good as it sounds. The food punches above typical coffee shop fare. The Beyond sandwich with its sweet heat chipotle aioli is a genuine win, vegan or not. The brown sugar bacon gouda is a household favorite for my family. The baked treats are decent but honestly priced a touch above what they deliver. They are the only coffee shop in the area so the pricing reflects that reality more than the competition. The space is your standard coffee shop Joanna Gaines-esque rustic, warm and comfortable. They feature local art on the walls which I love, though I wish they rotated it more frequently. Easy way to keep things fresh and support the local creative community more actively. Staff is kind, genuinely engaging, and this is a queer safe space, which matters and is always worth naming out loud.

I was worried that it would end up being super bitter but they honestly nailed it! The banana syrup (I think most or all of their syrups are made in house?) and the banana cream top were great! They also had a bunch of baked goods behind the glass which I think are also made in house. I kinda sorta wanted to get one of everything but eventually settled on the sticky date cake which was delicious.
