Tried a new coffee shop and I'm so glad I did. From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly and genuinely welcoming. The menu is simple and easy to navigate, which I actually appreciate -- no overwhelming options, just solid choices done well. The space is on the smaller side, but it still feels open and comfortable. It definitely seems like a great spot to work remotely or knock out some homework. The food was really good, and the coffee delivered too. I ordered my food to go, so I didn't get to fully soak in the ambiance, but the overall vibe was inviting. A heads up: the maple aioli has a little kick to it, but not overpowering. My picture do not do the food justice. I'd absolutely come back, especially to stay and enjoy it next time. read more

This is the second Krema Coffee location I have visited and was slightly disappointed. The North Aurora location is located off of Randall Rd on the street level of an apartment building. It's a little bit tucked away but they did have plenty of parking. The inside had three areas of seating with tables & chairs and some lounge chairs. I asked the staff member what flavor lattes they offered as the menu was a bit confusing. I had previewed a menu online and didn't see half those flavors listed on the menu board nor by the register. I ended up ordering a 12oz hot honey lavender latte. The coffee beans itself tasted a bit burnt to me which altered the whole flavor of the drink. I also ordered the Bacon, Egg, & Cheese Bagel as they serve Jake's Bagels here. The sandwich was good but could have used a sauce. I also didn't get much of the cheese flavor. My entire order was just over $16 which also felt a bit high for what I ordered. I think this location is cute but could make some improvements to better compete in the area. read more

What a find! Good coffee and exceptional food! We were randomly in the area for a family thing and just googled for a local place. It exceeded our expectations. What a cute spot hidden in North Aurora! This coffee shop is nestled next to the My Place and off of Randall Road. When walking in the space is spacious and bright. They have a sizable menu with beverages and food options which was great. I opted for the Krema Klub Salad which was light but packed a nice flavor mainly due to the bacon. For my coffee I went the route of a cold brew with a vanilla coconut cold foam and it was delicious. Something about vanilla and coconut combo always tells summer to me. The coffee shop has ample seating so you also don't feel like you're on top of other people which is nice. To finish off I got a Jake's Bagel in cinnamon raisin with vanilla cream cheese, and it's just a nice sweet treat without being too sweet. read more

Just noticed my previous review was for another location. This Krema in North Aurora has been a welcome addition to my coffee spot rotation since I started stopping in this past summer. Back then it was the iced vanilla mojito latte or the chromatica cold brew (that funfetti cold foam was so good) that got me through the hot days and now it's a warm lumberjack or mocha to help face the dropping temps. I always seem to notice a fair amount of people hanging out or working when I stop in but never get the feeling it's too busy or loud probably thanks to the interior design doing a good job of compartmentalizing the space. The staff are friendly and helpful and the happy hour pricing for certain drinks is always a plus when looking for an afternoon pick me up. read more

Vanilla Mojito Latte made my day! Fantastically bouncy collection of Hawaiian beach vibes, bright zesty notes, and cool vanilla bean made ripe with the espresso. I was sad again these greater Chicago area coffee spots do not have bigger sizes. We dined in, found good wifi here, a quiet corner of this pond edge with enough parking. Staff was helpful and polite to point out their in house crafted syrups which always point right to above average standards for java and overall brew. It shows well and makes an obvious caffeine drip drop in. read more

The location was easy to find and right off Randall road. The parking was a little confusing since many of the signs stated it was for residents only. There were about 4 spots up front that were for the coffee shop. Krema was bright, open and very clean. The staff were friendly. I spent a few hours working here and I loved that there were many outlets. The music is slightly loud if you are looking for a quieter place. I arrived at about 9AM and there were only a few other individuals in the shop. There's a small back room which would be good for any small gatherings. I ordered a latte with oat-milk and breakfast sandwich. I was amazed on how great the latte tasted! The breakfast sandwich tasted great as well. I love that they offer Jake's bagels since they are the best ones in Aurora. Overall, I would return and continue working here when I'm able to! read more

This spot is a little hidden gem. I didn't realize it was there until my sister told us about it after watching our dog. The inside has always been noticeably clean and the staff are always friendly and quick to make your order. My go to order is the Maple Bacon Gouda egg sandwich. This sandwich is the perfect combination of spicy, smoky and sweet. The bun is perfectly crisp on the outside and soft and airy on the inside. It is just what I need after a late night out. I bounce around on the different featured coffee drinks and iced teas and have yet to be disappointed. The big COFFEE painted window calls my name every-time I drive by. Love this place! Was attracted by the big "coffee" sign as I passed on Randle...genius! I like buying the beans to make at home and have spent some time hanging in the shop reading all good experiences except...The mugs! So I would not mark them down for this but I'm particular about my coffee mug. See picture. The handle is so flippin small and the shape makes it nearly impossible to safely manipulate anything else with the other hand! So come here and enjoy the space, coffee, food, and service. Love that they serve Jake's bagels! The coffee was just ok and not very hot. The big turn off was how dirty the place was! Tables were not cleaned off and lots of crumbs on floor. The two young gals working were too busy talking to each other than cleaning up. Probably won't be back sadly! read more

Came here as they advertise $3 12 oz flavored lattes from 2-5pm. Ordered a 12 oz pistachio latte around 3:30pm and was charged something like $6.50. I guess the pistachio flavor costs an extra $3. I paid and still tipped because it's not the baristas fault, just poor advertising by the business. read more

Coffee is okay. Food is good, and they have a good variety on their menu. But they could improve their sanitary precautions. I got the WORST food poisoning of my life, wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy. Diarrhea and vomit non stop. I know it was from KREMA because everything else I ate that day my family had also eaten and they were perfectly fine. My recommendation is just go for the coffee and not the food, at least not til they take better precautions and wash their hands before going into work. One of the employees walked right in and jumped right behind the line, maybe not washing her hands did the job. Turf room has better coffee anyways.. read more
