My only real complaint would be that the turkey gobbler sandwiches were on the small side and they were rather skimpy on the waffle fries. They served it on small plates to give the appearance of a full plate, had it been on a normal sized plate it would have been very noticeable. Upon walking into Syrup it was a good atmosphere, very clean and bright. Service was superb both times I went. The food came quick, fresh, hot, & had big portions. I was impressed with the mimosa, made with quality ingredients, generous serving size, & tasted really delish. The coffee was really good, not just mundane diner coffee. The also had specialty coffee drinks with a wide array of flavors. The mini waffle flight were the best waffles I've ever had, as was the corned beef hash. In town for business and wanted to have a more delicious breakfast than the complimentary one at the hotel. This was perfect. I was sat quickly and the food and drinks were delivered fast as well. Everything was super tasty and fresh. The poached eggs were perfect and the mozzarella on the Mediterranean Avocado toast was delicious. The tables are spaced nicely to comply with social distancing guidelines and all staff wore masks. I heard all about their limeades and thought it would be like your typical fast food drive through drink but these are incredible! My favorite was the blueberry basil and my husband LOVED the mango habanero. (Just a tad spicy for me). We decided to order a bunch of food and share and there wasn't one thing we tried we didn't like. The Cluck Cluck skillet is huge and the gravy was perfectly paired with the chicken. I am not a huge breakfast lover but this was really an excellent meal. I shared the waffle flight with my two dining companions and it was a fun (yummy!) experience to try four different and interesting waffles. The house syrup is sooooo delicious! I ordered the half order of chicken and waffles, still a generous portion and the chicken was just amazing...the breading/coating was so crispy and fresh and flavorful, and the chicken breast itself was juicy and not dry at all and had great flavor as well. For the chicken and waffle deluxe, there was two fried chicken breast sandwiched between waffles, with maple syrup, cinnamon butter, bacon, and chipotle aïoli. The chicken was crispy and well-made. For the home sweet home, I ordered it without the goat cheese, with two over easy eggs. The bowl is simple but delicious, especially the sweet potato portion. The billion dollar bacon however was the best part of the meal, made with brown sugar and tasted like a combination of chipotle, Cajun spices. I had the Chicken Apricot Panini. It was crispy, gooey, and delicious. My mom had a salad. She said it was good. I didnt have a chance to try it. The service was solid. Servers were polite, always wore masks, and there was ample distance between tables and guests. This restaurant is also very clean.
