I love Brunch Cafe and I do frequent another location but the Huntley one just always seems so disorganized to me. The atmosphere is chaotic, the service is slow and it's always busy. I know that's a great problem to have but in the morning the last thing I want is chaos. Sadly, I feel like the food here is just mid. I was with a few people and everyone ordered different items. Yes there was more food than we could eat and it was served hot but just ok on the tastiness scale. read more

They have a nice selection of food. Unfortunately it ordered the "Stuffed Potato Pancakes", the outside pancakes were almost burnt. I had to scrape the potato pancakes off and only eat the middle part. Disappointed that No. 1, the cook would be okay to serve there dish, No. 2, the waitress should have questioned the quality of this dish. read more

We came on a Wednesday for Brunch and we're seated as soon as we got in. We had to wait a little to order, and get our food, but the food itself was good. I had a burger and it was cooked just how I asked, but we had to wait a while for a refill of our drinks. Even when our waitress came around we had to ask even though there were 3 empty glasses on the table. The ambiance was fine. Overall it could have been a lot quicker and a little better with the service. read more

Variety menu and excellent service. Clean, fresh and noisy. Best to go early morning or an hour before closing for a quieter mealtime. read more

I was in town visiting my grandchildren from Florida and had the pleasure of being served by Jaimee (hope I spelled her name correctly). She was excellent--very attentive and friendly. The food was great, just as I remembered from when I lived in Illinois and frequently visited all the Brunch Cafe locations. I needed to make some changes to my order, and Jaimee was very obliging, ensuring my meal was a wonderful experience. With my grandkids at the booth, who can be a handful, she was fantastic. Once again, the food lived up to my memories. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town! read more

Disappointed in French Toast Trio for $15. Three pieces and fake whipped cream. Skip this. The skillets and sandwiches look more worth the money. read more

The food is always excellent and the service is very good. I only have one complaint; the noise level.

So I say the amount that I go in to the restaurant and deliver from the restaurant are pretty equal so I have a good handle on the quality of food given to me by each service. Consistently when I order for delivery the food is wrong, missing items, sloppily put together, or just gross. The same items are not like that when I go into the restaurant. I'm really starting to believe that the time and Care put into the food for inside patrons is not given to those who order delivery. Today I ordered the stuffed waffle. It cost me $18. What I received was a waffle riddled with black specks. And maybe two tablespoons of brunch cream. Definitely not worth the price. I don't know what their beef is with people who want delivery. read more

The Brunch Cafe serves up breakfast in the Huntley area. For a Saturday morning around noon, the inside was lively and full. There wasn't a wait and service was quick. The interior was clean and didn't look or smell run down. The menu is extensive and offers plenty of options, so it would be hard to not find something you wanted. I went with nachos and blueberry crepes. I didn't care for my breakfast. I will say this was my first time having sweet crepes instead of savory. I don't think I'm a fan of sweet crepes and will stick to pancakes, french toast, or waffles. I was disappointed in the breakfast nachos. First, everything was cooked together which led to moist and soft chips. Second, the chicken was processed, bland, and of low quality. Third, the nachos lacked seasoning like chile powder, cumin, cilantro, and garlic to bring some basic mexican flavors to the dish. The breakfast potatoes were not bad. I tasted the signature french toast and it was different from standard french toast being that it was soaked in a custard. It was desert level sweet but also wet which was something to adjust to. I will say the serving sizes were generous, butI will be fine passing over another breakfast here. read more

Background: We've been going here a few times a year for approximately 8 years now. Review: The food is mid and is on par with any other breakfast spot around. Nothing stands out. They do have a churro waffle which I don't think any other local places offer. They have a mimosa flight which is okay but there's definitely better ones around (see Maple & Hash right down the road in Pingree Grove). Ambiance: during the week the crowd is definitely more senior focused with Del Webb being so close. The weekends bring about more families & the occasional wait to be seated. read more

Always great food and service. Amazed that we were able to be seated immediately on Easter. Our order was precise, served hot (a huge deal for me) and drinks were refilled frequently. read more

Once again - excellent customer service coupled with hot and delicious food. The CYO Omelette was perfectly prepared as was the CYO Skillet. Nick and the other front desk reps make ordering from here easy. This is our go to place for breakfast and lunch - consistently excellent food. read more

Best place for breakfast. I am addicted to Sweet Potato. skillet but everything is great.

Always good food. Staff are so nice. A bit on the pricey side but it's close by and if you go before 10 there is usually no wait

After YEARS of frequenting this restaurant for breakfast we are on the search for another. Porrtions have diminished along with quality. Burnt potatoes, cold egg, burnt toast - coffee (ridiculous price) should leave a smaill pot on the table - always need to flag down the server for more. No Senior discount on the weekends, along with the higher prices. As they say "if its not broke don't fix it" - !! Please Fix It !! read more

The food is usually good, service usually good, not always perfect, bit pricey. I do like it and go relatively often. The only reason I temper my review is that in Huntley IL it really has no competition so they just kinda win. read more

Food is AMAZING. Went in to pick up a take out order and the cashier worker was rude and not even talking when asking for things. She was giving mean look and staring me up and down. Not really the right way to treat a customer especially when asking for something and not getting a response back besides getting stared down. read more

Had breakfast at Brunch Café, and it was fantastic. The food was great, but the service made it unforgettable. Our waitress, Brooke, was amazing--super friendly, attentive, and just one of those people who makes your day better. She seemed to know everyone by name, which was impressive, and she was absolutely beautiful inside and out. I had the biscuits and gravy and strawberry French toast--both were delicious. My coffee was always hot and refilled without asking. Also, shoutout to Yanny, the busboy--loquacious and full of energy. The whole place just had a great vibe. Definitely coming back! read more

Great breakfast for the area. The food is really really tasty. You will leave satisfied on that front. BUT they have room to grow on service. Also, I went here during COVID and sat outside and there was no music. It made for a lame ambiance. I got a skillet and it was so good but I was really wishing I got the avocado toast because it was AMAZING. Hot tip: you can get biscuits and gravy as a side instead of toast/pancakes. read more

Well original I was considering a friend's restaurant in downtown Huntley but saw this restaurant and decide to give it a try it's actually pretty good despite having a particular server who seemed a bit uptight other than that the food was actually pretty good I should have ordered the lox breakfast like my friend next I come otherwise the traditional breakfast was very good and they gave generous portions if you're into the Hardy breakfast and the eggs look pretty fresh. With the newer restaurants around Huntley this was a better choice than my friends it's not a grease spoon I'm not going to name names but do give this place a try read more

Wow what an amazing restaurant experience we had today at Brunch Cafe in Huntley. I recently moved to the area. And have seen this place up close. When I cruise by in my wheelchair I've read great reviews. Went there today first time with my daughter and her fiancé visiting from Atlanta They were extremely accommodating for our party the food was fantastic. I had a skillet which was great awesome pancakes too Great OJ too We will be back. They were on point in every way. Can't wait to go back. Awesome Job at Brunch Cafe read more
