Between that and the occasional random craving, I probably end up here 1-3 times a month, so I've gotten a pretty good feel for the place. The smoothies are obviously the main attraction and have always been consistently good, but their food is surprisingly solid too. The Thai Chicken Wrap is easily my favorite; fresh, flavorful, with a nice mix of textures, and substantial enough to make a meal out of it. Pair it with a smoothie and it makes for a pretty satisfying lunch without feeling like typical fast food. There's plenty of variety with the smoothies too, so while I have my favorites, I tend to bounce around the menu depending on what sounds good that day. Service is probably the weakest part of the experience, though I wouldn't call it bad. The staff tends to be more efficient than personable; you're not always getting the warmest interaction, but they work quickly enough and, most importantly, after plenty of visits they've been consistently accurate with my orders. The cafe itself is bright, casual, and generally clean, with a relaxed atmosphere that works whether you're grabbing something to go or sitting down for a quick lunch. After this many visits, Tropical Smoothie has proven to be a reliable stop. Good smoothies, surprisingly solid food, quick service, and that Thai Chicken Wrap keeps me coming back. I had placed an order for a pickup time at 8:50am, but I happened to get there 15 minutes early, based on past experience, I had thought that my order would've been completed. Unfortunately, such wasn't the case. The associate who is working this morning informed me that my order wasn't in their system, despite my receiving of a confirmation email. The associate then told me that I would have to come back & mentioned something about 10am. Why in the world would I go home just to return 2 1/2 hours later just for a smoothie?! I wound up cancelling my order, because I wasn't going to deal with the drama or the continued letdown from the associate working. I will return to have my smoothies, but I'm not going to order through the app if the orders aren't going to go through the system & the associate give me horrible customer experience.
