We enjoy the drinks and coffee without a doubt! Service is great and exceptionally fast. I have had some weird service experiences in the past but usually they get corrected quickly. I prefer a local spot to the coffee chains. I love the vibe inside ...Industrial Chic if that's a thing. I ordered drip coffee- it was nice and strong. My only complaint would be that I like to drink my coffee out of a mug - not paper cups. I know how that sounds - nice and pretentious! I ordered the breakfast burrito and it was jam packed with avocado, egg, bacon, and hash browns (but I couldn't taste them- maybe add more of a crisp and seasoning for these to shine more). coffee sucks and the "baristas" almost always seem clueless when you make a request. who does not not know how to make a cortado with ice. It's just less proportion of milk compared to a latte. They all need some training. Their customer service and attitude also sucks. It's my second time coming here and it's been the same experience. read more

I've been driving past Daily Project Coffee Bar for years and honestly can't believe it took me this long to stop in what a home run of a place . The coffee selections are both unique and abundant I got a nitro brew, which came in a generous-sized cup and was absolutely delicious. The food was equally impressive; my pesto chicken sandwich was flavorful and fresh, and the dessert options looked great too . Prices are very reasonable for the quality you get, and the atmosphere has that perfect "get work done" vibe lots of people on laptops, calm energy, and clean modern decor. Service was good Nd to the point. I'll definitely be stopping by again whenever I'm in the area. If you're looking for a spot to work, relax, or just enjoy a really good cup of coffee, this place deserves a visit. read more

Big fan of locally owned coffee shops and this place did it for me! I was pleasantly surprised to see how large this cafe is. There's about 50, if not more, seats inside. I was here during the fall so I'm not sure if they put tables and chairs outdoors during the spring/summer time. There are outlets pretty much everywhere if you are planning to huddle up with a laptop. I will say that sitting at the bench against the wall was somewhat of a 'challenge' for me. I couldn't reach my laptop while sitting against the wall so I didn't have support on my back. I think adding pillows to the bench area would be a much appreciated plus. For short people like me at least, haha. I ordered via their front counter and the staff was friendly and quick. Once drinks were made you're asked to grab it at the counter. If you order food and are dining in they give you a number and bring it to you once it's ready. I tried a hot pumpkin pie matcha latte and loved it. I could taste both the matcha and pumpkin and neither were competing with each other. This was a well balanced drink that set the tone of having a cozy and relaxing stay. For food I ordered the breakfast sandwich with turkey bacon. This was a pretty standard sandwich for me, nothing special, but I'm glad they offer it! read more

Daily Projects is a great coffee shop in the Algonquin area. Located in a strip mall on Randall Rd, it's an easy location to get to and is near a lot! The inside is large with a central ordering counter with seating on each side. There are outlets along the front of the banquet benches for people to work with ease. The staff were extremely friendly and fast to turn around food/drinks. I ordered a hot Lavender Latte and Breakfast Sandwich with crispy bacon. The latte was served in a to-go cup even though we said we were dining in. The flavor was good but not strong. The foam art on top was a nice touch. My breakfast sandwich came out exactly how I ordered it but definitely needed more sauce. I would certainly stop back for a coffee when in the area but wouldn't go out of my way. While it had some working benefits, the seating was not comfortable enough to accommodate long stays. The pricing was very fair, in my opinion, but I have had better lavender lattes. read more

Way too expensive for the quality of the drinks and food. They use Meijer milk and creamer (which probably isn't the best idea to readily showcase when prices are as high as they are. I ordered the $8.50 avocado toast and an iced matcha latte. The toast was a thick piece of Texas toast which really clashed with the avocado, and was really just a bland mess of a breakfast. The matcha was fine. Not worth the time. Also no street access and no drive thru. read more

Daily Projects is a great place for quality coffee if you feel like stepping away from the chains. It kind of gives a homely, inviting environment, comfortable enough to hang out all day, and I think some people do lol. I'm usually a fan of the basics and they have solid black brews. Every once in a while I'll get a latte and they are delish. They used to make great cortado, not sure if they completely stopped or if they were seasonal. Speaking of seasonal, make sure to try them because they're unique, delicious, and because I said so. This is one of our favorite places to stop on a Saturday or Sunday while out running errands. We've never had a drink (or snack) that we didn't like. It's nice to see a local cafe with dairy free and vegan options with a nice interior and plenty of seats along the busy Randall Road. We had been wanting to stop by here many times, and finally was able to. This cafe is along the very busy Randall Road but we were able to find parking just outside. I was glad to see dairy free milk options and even vegan cheese to add to meals - for those of us who are lactose intolerance. I was surprised by their good sized menu of drinks and food. We chose to eat in and had an early lunch on a weekday. We enjoyed the food and the drinks and the total for two people with drinks, a side, and 2 sandwiches was about $40. read more

This the first visit for me and probably the last. The coffee was fine. My disappointment is mainly due to the overall cleanliness. The rugs at the front of the store looked like they haven't been vacuumed in a month. One appeared to be covered in brown animal hair? The coffee cart that holds the napkins and lids was absolutely filthy. It had streaks of whatever was spilled on it or knocked over. It was covered in crumbs and spilt, dried on condiments. Some of the coffee machines/blenders are visible to customers from the counter, and those looked like they haven't been wiped down/cleaned at any time during the morning. The dining room is not much better. I couldn't find a table to sit at that was clean. All of the tables were littered with crumbs, old spills, dried smears of who knows what crumpled straw wrappers. The floor again looked like it hadn't been swept in weeks. The metal busing carts and the bus tubs left out in the dining area were covered in dried up smears and drips. I counted 5 employees behind the counter, all were working, but I would think one or two of them would be responsible for keeping the dining room in order, clean, and maybe even sanitary. During my 30 minutes in the dining area I didn't see a single employee walk into it, let alone anyone with something to clean with. This is such a shame. I always prefer local businesses over chains, but this one has a lot of work to get where it needs to be. read more

I came here to get some work done and ordered three drinks and a sandwich in under two hours. The tea was so bitter it was undrinkable. When I asked for hot water to dilute it they poured an inch and when I asked for a bit more, I was told I'd have to pay for it. When I asked to speak to someone, they responded with attitude, lied and refused to share information. Having worked in the hospitality industry for a long time, I know poor management when I see it and this was exactly that. New owners plus Covid and everything is very different. Sure they make the same coffee and the dining area is still great for meeting friends or working/homework. That's where the good part ends. Came with my friend to try their seasonal lattes. Friend ordered avocado toast. They charged her $9 for a slice of Texas toast that was almost burnt with half an avocado sliced and topped with a sprig of greens. What?!! Where's the fancy bread and arugula salad with sliced radishes? Shame! My butterscotch latte is in a real mug again. Real mugs make hot coffee and lattes taste so much better than drinking them out of plastic or paper cups. read more

This is a very enjoyable coffee shop. The drinks are good and the employees are always kind to me. I love how much seating there is and how many outlets there are. The only negative is that the tables are bolted down into the ground. Because of this you will not be able to sit back to do your work due to being unable to adjust the distance from seat to table (if in booth). I have lower back problems and so if I do my work here then I know I only have a small amount of time until I'll need to stop so I can sit back. read more

It's been some time since I ordered the avocado toast: 2 slices of perfectly toasted bread with mashed seasoned avocado, pickled onion and radish slices with a perfectly dressed side of micro greens. I ordered and received a lackluster version of crappy bread, sliced avocado, an overdone egg and what I'm assuming is the microgreen side salad sprinkled on top. I also order a side of bacon wich lists at 2 pieces for $3.75 on delivery and I received a piece of burned hard bacon folded in half. It's truly a pathetic version of the amazing dish they used to serve. Save yourself the disappointment and don't spend $13.00 on the garbage I received. Always on the lookout for a new coffee shop. I tried the lavender vanilla latte and it was rich and creamy. The shop has handful or high boy tables and also seats by a counter. It faces the window, which offers some natural light. Service was good, but nothing special. The staff seemed to get along well and were engaged in conversation the entire time I was there.
