Greasy spoon... yes please! Real diner with real diner prices. Nothing fancy. Everything is good! I'm committed - 2 steaks, potatoes, eggs w/a side of green chili around $22 monies. Only open till 2pm The weekends are very busy. I come here pretty frequently and never disappointed.

I scanned the bad reviews before trying this place, and unfortunately many of those complaints hold true. The service was friendly, but disorganized. I sat there for quite awhile before they had a huddle to figure out who was supposed to be serving me. And yeah, the smell in this place is disgusting. They really need to get their plumbing situation figured out. I did use the restroom, and the smell emanates from there, with the doors just standing wide open. And the men's at least is an absolute horror show. Unspeakable. If I'd used it before ordering I'd have walked out. I got huevos rancheros since they seem to be known for their chili. It all seemed fresh enough. If Denver has one unique food item it's pork green chili stew, and this is a passable version. A solid B effort; a little watery but decent flavor. Beans weren't refried but whole and plain, which I didn't mind. Potatoes were a little on the pale side, but cooked through. I like the interior - classic 70s diner. But the smell alone will keep me from ever going back. I'd give the food like a 3.75, but the reek knocks it right down to a 2. Oh, and it was $14, no sides no drink and before tip, so not cheap, either.

Big breakfast combo - under $12. Included toast

oh no no no....we are on vacation and visited this place and quickly found only one server and a cook doing the best they could. We actually felt badly for the server and I almost jumped in to help her as customers were not yet served and more people coming in. I found the there was a women and 3 men not bothering or knowing how to help the waitress that was throwing defeated signs all over the restaurant. 2 men showed up with what appeared to be some kind of authority and we thought Finally our waitress was going to get some much needed help. Nope they only walked around the back of the counter and then sat down and watch the entire process fail with no intervention. We are staying in downtown Denver only minutes away and we will not ever try venturing in here ever again. Food was just ok, I order Faye special based on yelp pics looks good. Steak was not seasoned and eating my shoe would have been easier. eggs and potatoes were not very well seasoned at all. My wife orders Mexican Omelet that had a green chili sauce that was very good so much in so I added her green chili to my entire plate because it lacked flavor. Oh forgot !!!!! They had to close the restaurant down (10 am Sunday) due to only one server ...smh

Classic local breakfast place in Santa Fe neighborhood. Food and service was excellent. A real throwback will definitely be back when in town. Make your own Denver McGriddle!

I wanted a burger he wanted to sit down meal and we ended up at the Moonlight Diner. Walking into the diner is like a step back in time. The decor is 1950s memorabilia with chrome touches and leather wrapped seating. It's everything you would think a diner would be but the food is so much more. They have a full bar as well as dairy treats, including shakes and malts. They also have breakfast all day and love their pancakes. They also serve barbecue. But I went for the patty melt. And my other half went for breakfast. His breakfast was the mountain man breakfast and was full of meats, eggs hashbrowns, and Ken with pancakes, but he opted for English buffet instead. It also came with a side of toast. It was a very ample breakfast. My patty melt sure did hit the spot. It was a perfectly medium cooked hamburger on rye with cheddar, and Swiss melted with grilled onions and thousand island dressing. Instead of fries, I went for the mashed potatoes and gravy. It was comfort food to the max. My date also got the peanut butter shake. He slurped that down in a hot minute. He said it was wonderful. He offered me a taste at least twice before I noticed it was gone. There's also meatloaf on the menu as well as a pulled pork barbecue Frito pie and they have a Frito pie burger. They also serve meatloaf. They have several classics and several twists. I recommend going there. There's something for everyone.

Stopped by and we were seated right away and place was clean and the diner was pretty simple than the other ones ive been too so far :). Menu offered a whole variety of breakfast classics as well as burgers/handhelds and milkshakes which ive still yet to tried. Decaf coffee was good, I could drink it multiple times, will definetely order next time. Sweet Potato fries were really delicious and the steak flavor was okay, but atleast it was still tender/cooked perfectly, just wished it punch more but not bad. Mash potato was pretty disappointing. Patty melt was perfect and fries that came with it were perfect. HUGE PORTION TOO!! Ive also ordered a side of Mac which was also reallyyyy good. Service was fast and we were checked on plenty of times and the lady was nice. .. Pretty simple, nothing really over the top, but otherwise satisfied belly and will come back if craving more

We headed down to a crowded restaurant around 11 AM. It was pretty packed because it was opening day for the Colorado Rockies, and everyone was getting pre-game food. We checked in, to find that it was only about a 15-20 minute wait, a perfect amount of time to get mimosas at the bar. It actually turned out that we had a nice little area to drink our mimosas near the hostess stand, where we got to chat with other patrons. The restaurant itself is an upscale and modern diner, with modern diner food. It had a bight aesthetic. Once we were seated, we got to look over the menu. We decided to share the Maple Deviled Eggs and OG Hash with soyrizo. I was glad we shared so we could try both dishes. Also, the portions were rather large. Anyway, we enjoyed the food. It was creative and flavorful. There were lots of menu items the sounded good, so it was difficult to decide. It was also fun to try a couple of breakfast cocktails, for something different than a mimosa. All in all, we had a great brunch at The Original, and it was a great way to start our day.

I love having the option of breakfast for dinner and at Rosie's, they serve breakfast all day. Nom nom! Mom and I came here on a busy Sunday afternoon (post church crowd) and we were told to expect a 15min wait. We put ourselves on the waitlist and once we sat down outside, the totally amazing technology took over. We were able to watch the waitlist on the Yelp app and we received our "table is ready" text on our mobile as well as thru the app. Pretty sweet! The cakes here are definitely a safe go to. Slightly sweet and fluffy and taste good with syrup, jam or alone. The restrooms could use a little attention. The floors were wet and the towel dispenser not working properly. Nothing a little makeover couldn't help.
