Avocado toast with the eggs. Amazing
    Heywood M.

Don't listen to BS from trolls like Stacey B (you're got 35 reviews and 27 are one star? YOU'RE A TROLL. And we can all guess what the "B" stands for ...) Haters be damned (like Stacey B****) !! Sam's is fun, great service, a massive menu, and even when you go "off menu" it's amazing. My latest eats favorite (and I've had everything on the menu) is the avocado toast with balsamic and over easy eggs. Heaven.

Busy sports bar environment with a very large selection of food/drink. We got the Spero's burrito (breakfast burrito with eggs, hashbrowns, cheddar under pork green chili), which was solid, very filling, and HUGE. Not the best green chili in the city but still tasty! Very friendly service.

Eating at Sam's feels like a rite of passage. I've been a few times, and the food is great with friendly, attentive servers. I especially like coming here for a late breakfast. The menu is huge, with plenty of options, so there's always something that sounds good. My regular order is the corned beef hash from scratch with a side of green chili.

We love sams!!! They have something for everyone on the menu. Cute little bar area with tvs to watch a game. We have become big fans of the hand held burrito and tots to go! It is a lot of food for the $!

My hotel recommended Sam's and I'm really glad they did. The Popeye omelette (with spinach) was great, as were the pancakes. Service was terrific... when you go, ask for "King Johnny!" I'm not surprised this place has been feeding people for 99 Years

So this establishment is getting a low star rating based on our experience. First of all we were down south and wanted to go to the Aurora location but to our disappointment we learned that one has been closed permanently. So we googled our next choice and this one was closest to where we were. Located in Glendale close to Cherry creek and I think Quebec but basically in the heart of Glendale. Nice restaurant, very busy. We had about a 30 minute wait but it wasn't terrible plenty of tv's and some good music playing overhead. When we sat down we were greeted and our drink order was taken by the bartender. We eventually were greeted by our server and we had plenty of time to decide what we wanted for our lunch. My wife opted for the chili cheese burger and I for the Mexican hamburger. My wife enjoyed her meal and I not so much . I had to ask for extra green chili as half of my Mexican hamburger was exposed and not truly smothered as it should be. And it was funny because we smelt something burning and my wife joked that it probably my hamburger and low and behold when I cut into my hamburger it tasted burnt and the outside was charred. And we were not at Burger King, lol. The green chili seemed to not have any seasoning or kick and tasted like it was out of a can Ala Stokes green chili. Which isn't terrible if your not of Hispanic culture or in college or don't know what green chili is supposed to taste like but I do and expected more from Sams as this isn't the first time we've dined at thier locations and its always been favorable. And as far as our service, it was subpar and terrible. Our waitress was pretty much non existent other than taking our orders. The bartender was more present than she was and even than I had to walk up to the bar and ask him for his help to order a shake and a to-go box. Even when we were ready to pay we had to go to the host stand and ask for our check to pay our bill and explain what we had in order for the host to find our check. So all in all it was a fair experience but we will probably go to the location downtown next time even though parking is at a premium im always looking for a reason to spend a little time in Denver. So would I recommend? Maybe ,maybe not. I just wouldn't order the Mexican hamburger again. So that is my opinion and if you go I wish you a better experience than we had.

Cool spot that seems to be a localish chain? The place is a quaint diner vibe. This location there were two instances where I almost crossed the employee only area trying to find the restroom. The service was good. The food was good, but definitely not earth shattering.

Again and again I come here solo for this homemade cinnmaon roll, believe me its the best in the city! I sit at the bar, sometimes a booth and the staff is warm friendly and VERY good at their jobs. I love this place and from what I hear the staff does too..you can feel that

The classic Eggs Benedict has always been my favorite and what I get just about every time. You can't go wrong! Strazza [strah-zuh, strazuh, sträzuh]…read more Noun 1. A concatenation of street and plaza "that connects pedestrians and cars in a safe and flexible environment". (Glendale Cherry Creek Chronicle, 9/13) 2. A creative developer's term for a surface parking lot ringed with restaurants and drinking establishments which happen to connect said developer's two hotels. Aren't new, made up words illuminating? I came across the completely made up word "strazza" in the 'Glendale Cherry Creek Chronicle' when reading about all the new restaurants that have been opening up in Glendale's City Set development. The word strazza sounds vaguely upscale. It's a word which may remind you of a stroll through the Piazza del Duomo while you are devouring biscotti, one after the other. Or perhaps it is a sensual word which, when spoken aloud by the likes of Sophia Loren, will unfurl your flag. Strazza. Where was I? Oh yeah, City Set. Yeah, none of the above dreamy notions will disrupt your visit to City Set. City Set is a very clever way of maximizing the real estate around the parking lot between the Hilton Garden Inn and the Residence Inn by Marriott. The line-up of restaurants and drinking establishments which surround the strazza is indeed impressive and a coup for Glendale: Jax Fish House, Cuba Cuba Sandwicheria, World or Beer, Udi's Cafe Pizza and Bar, and Big Smoke Burger are already bringing in the crowds. And still to open are The Kitchen Next Door and a Native Foods Café. That's a lot of variety which covers not only different tastes but different budgets as well. Smart, very smart. All the restaurants and their patios are adjacent to one other and overlook the parking lot so it kind of feels like you are dining on a public square of sorts, a 21st century commercial vision of an insipid street scene. I guess it's like a food court too, except instead of tables in the middle, one can park a car directly in front of their establishment of choice. If you can't find a parking spot directly on the surface lot, then there is underground parking too which I personally find more convenient than competing for a spot on the strazza. There is a shared valet service available too, but I haven't had the need for it. City Set is A-OK and I'm sure they are going to succeed because they seem to have the right tenant mix, the convenience of parking, are surrounded by the right demographics, and are adjacent to the busiest street in all of Colorado. For me, I'd rather have the real thing, as long as there is valet parking of course. Strazza.

City Set is the latest and greatest piece of the Glendale renaissance. There are two hotels, a…read moregreat mix of sit down and fast casual restaurants, and a Verizon store. Almost everything you need, really. During a recent visit, someone told me that pretty soon this place will be "the next Vegas". Certainly a bit of a stretch, but one day you will be able to stroll with your adult beverage around City Set and over to the Riverwalk that is scheduled to be completed in 2016, I believe. Pretty cool! So why not five stars? Parking. There just aren't enough spaces to accommodate both hotel guests and daily visitors. While complementary valet parking is available (currently the only way to use the parking garage), I'm not going to valet the car just to run in and grab a sandwich or a burger to go. I think even bike racks are limited but perhaps this will be addressed in the future. In any event, City Set is a big boost for Glendale and a fun place to hang out. I'm excited to see what the future holds for this development.

This place has that classic sports bar energy you hope for... TVs everywhere, a lively crowd, and the kind of atmosphere where you can kick back and enjoy a solid burger. If you're a burger fan, be warned--the menu is loaded. It actually took a minute to land on a decision because there are so many creative options. I went with the Burger in a Bowl and added blue cheese. Now let's talk about that... They don't do the "light sprinkle" thing here. They pile it on, and as someone who appreciates bold flavor, I was all in. The burger itself was cooked well and had great flavor throughout. It comes with steak fries, and I specifically asked for them well done... unfortunately, they didn't quite hit that crispy finish I was hoping for. Not a deal breaker, but worth noting. Service was okay--nothing negative, just not overly engaging or memorable. Kind of a "take your order and keep it moving" vibe. That said, the overall experience was strong. Between the atmosphere, the variety on the menu, and a really solid burger, this is absolutely a place I'd come back to if I lived nearby. Pro Tip: If you're a blue cheese fan, don't hesitate--they go big with it here. Final Verdict: Great spot for burgers and a laid-back sports bar experience. A little more attention to fries and service would push this into 5-star territory.

I couldn't hear my kid across the table. Our food came out after a lengthy wait, we did order after the kids, so we obviously didn't expect it to be ready at the same time, but it was quite lengthy on its own time table. My husband ordered a burger, and he doesn't like squishy bleedy burger meat. I eat steak rare and I don't eat burgers rare, it was too much for me. At first he did t want to say anything, and eat it because our food had taken soooo long. He did end up saying something, and of course the waitstaff felt terrible even though it wasn't their fault, and took the raw burger away. Next thing you know, some "chef" Amanda came out and boasted about herself to the table next to us. This chef boasted about prior places she's worked and yadda yadda, meanwhile the medium well burger my husband ordered was bleeding all over the place after he bit into it. Yeah? Fancy shmancy chef can't even cook a burger. You know who can cook a hamburger patty? My 11 year old. For real. Evidently the owner was there tonight. So, IDK. We will not be back.
