Fast, friendly, healthy. I was able to find a "bespoke" salad on their menu that worked with the eating program I'm on these days - Guacamole Greens. No actual guac on it, but there was a fresh half of an avocado and some hot sauce and that's close enough. The salad was tasty and filling. Not cheap, but good. Free wifi and power outlets, you could probably chill here for a bit if it's not too busy. I did see some folks with their laptops. Their signs for the choices in front of each section were not all there, and the print was quite small on the dressings. Liked where they had calories content. Would eat here again if in area. The atmosphere is clean, inviting and inspiring. I prefer this location because it is most convenient for me, but. They have several locations around the area. The staff are amazing. They are knowledgeable, passionate and seem to care about the mission of Sweet Green. TONS of gluten free GF and dairy free DF options, just ask any staff member!! They are really attentive if you have dietary allergies. NOTE: if you see that a meal on the menu is served with kale you can switch it out with any green or simply get it without greens. You are not bound to any of the contents listed on the meal contents. You can always adjust the contents of your meal when you order both in person or online. If you don't know how ask a staff member or call if you are ordering online on how to adjust it in the app. This is an awesome spot for many casual occasions. Enjoyed my meal at sweet green! It was very busy when I went after a workout around 7pm during the week. The employees were working hard to keep the line moving and most of them were really nice but there was one who seemed slightly more aggressive and "in their own world". I didnt interact with them which was good, but it would've been more comfortable if everyone was just doing their part and acting normal. Apart from that, I had a great experience. I would recommend though, to add an extra topping to the Fish Taco bowl because it mostly just had greens (arugula, cabbage, cliantro), tortilla crisps, salmon, 2 sauces. You quickly learn that it's smarter to order online through the app to avoid the serious rush hours during lunch and dinner. I get food here about once every 3-4 weeks. Sometimes just for me, sometimes for several people. I always order via the app and usually modify/customize the bowls/salads. We find the food to be fresh and delicious. A few years ago we had two orders that were incorrect and each time, we let them know and were given free future meals. In the past two years, our orders have been correct and ready on time. It can get crowded in the store, but ordering with the app is so easy and convenient. No contact pick up, so easy and safe! This place is clearly overwhelmed or something. Went to pick up food we ordered ahead online and there was a huge line almost out the door. My husband and I drove all the way home with our food to discover completely dry, plain food with no sauce. Had to drive all the way back because they messed up our order we didn't want to eat completely plain food. Drinks are overpriced in store--$3 for a regular can of Spindrift and $5 for Health-Ade kombucha. Nothing like the sweet greens in chestnut hill. When I visited, they said they ran out of kale. Seriously? I didn't quite believe it since that's in like all of their salads. I substituted but then while I was still in line, I saw that they refilled the kale tray. Terribly slow. They were rotating salad preppers down the line all the way to the cashier and then the prepper was taking your payment too. It took over 10 minutes start to finish even though I was first in line. The staff here doesn't seem to really care about doing a good job. I ordered a blue cheese and squash and they didn't put any squash in it. Squash is in the name of the salad! Come on... also for a salad place the food should be fresh. At this location the staleness of everything was hard to stomach. This place is a shining example of either a franchise gone wrong or a lack of corporate oversight. If I didn't know other locations were better I would think this whole brand is a joke from the experience at this location. If you're like me and thought wow, now I don't need to drive to chestnut hill, you will be sorely disappointed and will still have to drive to chestnut hill. read more
