Cava is awesome. I love Mediterranean flavors so this place was definitely one i was excited about. Also the portions are perfect. Most people would probably not be able to finish the bowl i received, but I'm a big eater. I was full after! I no longer take my business to Chipotle which has staff that doesn't care, dirty restaurants and the worst portion sizes Cava is my go to for fast (healthier) food. Went to Cava for the first time last night. My daughter had told me about it and said it was great. I will say I thought the food was very good. It's basically the same model as Chipotle but it is Mediterranean and Greek food. The thing that really bothered us was the management of the place. There were a lot of workers. I think I counted eight. But two of them were just standing in front of screens near the guy who was doing the checkout and the three of them were just chatting. There was a line to the door and there didn't seem to be any focus on the customers. Also, they were out of several of the add-iins which seems like poor planning. They were also out of one of the drinks and the trash was overflowing onto the floor. I recently tried CAVA for the first time, and it was a good experience! I like this Mediterranean version of chipotle that can be fully customized. All of the spreads I tried (red pepper hummus, the spicy one I forget the name of, and crazy feta) were yummy, and the pita went well with my custom bowl. Jasmine tea was a refreshing choice. I wish we had a location closer to us. I did not like that the line moved so slowly. The employees looked like they were playing overcooked with in person orders being delayed by delivery/pickup orders significantly. New to the area, I love the concept. Sort of like Chipotle but for Mediterranean food. The place gets busy but the line did move along. Limited indoor seating and two tables outside. Staff do not present a good look for the company. They sort of grunt a "what do you want?" And they come across super disinterested in the whole process. We seemed to be bothering them with our presence. Food was fresh and very good so I'll give them another try. Parking was good but busy lot. If I owned Cava and I picked up my order and experienced what I did, I would've fired everyone working in the restaurant on the spot. I am 37 years old and I am not lying when I articulate that this was the worst service I've ever received - from Dunkin Donuts to McDonalds to Legal Seafoods to high end restaurants. Hands down the worst service EVER! I placed an order for a pick up of one steak harissa bowl set for a 6:15pm pickup at the Cava in Framingham at 1 Worcester Road. I had to drop my daughter at her school at 6:00pm (9 minutes away from Cava) to get ready for her performance and be back at the school by 7:00pm for the show. We arrived at the pickup window at 6:17pm. There were two cars in front of us. We didn't get to the window until 6:23pm. Then, we waited at the window for someone to come over for approximately 5 minutes. When the young woman came to the window she opened the window and stared at us, so I said my name and "it's for one steak harissa bowl." She stared blankly back at me, so I asked "what information do you need?" She responded with a nasty tone and attitude, "your name." I responded, that is my name and repeated it again. She closed the window and never returned. We waited at the window for another 5+ minutes. Several individuals working inside passed by the window and looked at us, but didn't open the window to get our order. Finally, it was almost 6:35 and we had to get back to my daughter's school for her performance at 7pm, so my husband pulled up in front of the restaurant and walked in. When he went inside he said that the man at the counter was making someone's order, but was moving at a glacial pace. He described it like the sloth from Zootopia (if you haven't seen the movie it's fantastic and there is a sequel coming out soon). My husband asked the man if he could get his order as he had been waiting outside for a while and the order was prepared for pickup at 6:15pm so was likely ready. The man just stared at him and kept doing what he was doing. With multiple people working, no one could bother to help anyone at the drive through or with pick-up. Finally, after asking again, the man handed my husband the order. It took approximately 25 minutes from when we arrived at Cava to receive my pickup order. Needless to say we were almost late to the show and I didn't get to eat anything before going in. As a result of this poor service, I didn't get to eat my order, which was prepared for 6:15pm, until 8:59pm. I have photos that document all of this because I was just appalled by the lack of care and consideration for the customer. Despite the food still being okay almost 3 hours later, I was starving at that point. And, this is not how I think anyone should experience a food pickup. The purpose of a pickup time and drive through is fast service. This was slower than some sit down restaurants. I can't believe I paid for a meal that I waited 25+ minutes for and didn't get to eat until almost 3 hours after I picked it up. I especially wish I had known so I would've put the dressing on the side (wilted lettuce is less than ideal. I hope this is not indicative of the standard and expectations for customer service at Cava and believe that you should do something to ensure this never happens again. I was waiting to pickup my food, which was placed in the back instead of the pickup shelf and there was a long wait to speak to this one guy. The guy ignored us and proceeded to help others checking out instead. Whenever the line cleared up, the guy disappeared. During this whole situation, there was another man in the back with his underwear showing handling the drive thru lane and handling food. At some point, I saw this man pick at his underwear with gloved hands and then proceeded to handle food with those same gloves. At no point did he switch gloves. It looked very unsanitary and made it feel gross, that at that point I didn't want my takeout food anymore. He was wearing a belt, but had his underwear fully showing. I normally place takeout from this location, and now I don't feel comfortable doing so knowing these unsanitary conditions. This happened recently in April 2026. read more

Just visited cava after 8 long months. the old employees that were working front of house were absolutely terrible, unprofessional, inappropriate and uncalled for so I thought with new hires and a change of leadership that the remaining workers and employees would treat Customers better. I finally came and got my usual arugula half brown rice, half lentil, crazy feta tzatziki lamb meatballs with a little bit of juice, pickles, red onion, and garlic dressing. I went on a Thursday during lunch hour and saw a line like I'd never seen before in the place. Everyone in line near me was equally surprised but still in good spirits. People who'd ordered online seemed to have a bit of a wait too. Finally got up to the counter and the service was great, as usual. Very friendly staff, one lady said it was a typical Thursday crowd and everyone working seemed to handle it well even though she said someone had recently quit, so they were a bit short-staffed. The food was good of course and I have no complaints. Even parking worked out for me that visit. This was my first time trying CAVA, and I must say I am throughly impressed! The food was absolutely amazing! You can tell all of the ingredients are quality and fresh, and all of the sauces really brought the flavors together. I am a sucker for Mediterranean cuisine, so this was the perfect place to get my fix. The staff was super helpful in guiding through the menu in a fast-paced environment, and I did not feel rushed at all. Beware- this is a fairly small location, so there are only about 5 tables inside and 2 outside. Also only 2 bathrooms. It gets a little tight and you are sright next to the line. However, both the dining room and bathrooms are very clean, which makes for a pleasant dining experience. Here's an order I definitely recommend- basmati white rice, grilled chicken, tzatziki, hummus, tomato-cucumber, pickled onions, avocado, feta, and a lemon vinaigrette drizzle. CAVA in Framingham opened several days ago on the former site of TGI Friday's. My Metrowest gal pal raves about CAVA and she usually stops at the Woburn CAVA for quick Mediterranean bowls. On our recent road trip, she made me stop at the CAVA in Timonium, MD so she could eat a late lunch. I stopped in at the CAVA in Framingham for a late evening takeout meal. I ordered the Chicken RightRice Bowl, which was made to order with high-protein RightRice with grilled chicken, tzatziki, roasted eggplant (substituted for Hummus), feta, tomato, arugula, and Greek dressing. The manager who made my bowl was very friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed my tasty bowl which was just the right size for a satisfying quick dinner. My gal pal was right about CAVA being fresh and quick! She is pleased to have a CAVA much closer to her home now. Hopefully, CAVA will eventually opened up in NH soon! Cava is so delicious and healthy! The harissa dip and balsamic date vinaigrette are staples for me. It can be a little intimidating if you're ordering here for the first time because the names may be unfamiliar. You can download the Cava app and place an online order, but if you're ordering during peak times it may take long. I placed an order around 5:10pm today to be ready by 5:30 and didn't get my food until 5:50. I was so excited once I finally got my food that I didn't realize until I left that they didn't put my order of pita chips in the bag! The wait time and forgetting my pita chips is the reason for deducting 1 star. Anyway, the flavorful food makes up for it, and the drinks are so good as well! All the juices are made in-house and are delicious. I recommend Blueberry Lavender, Strawberry Citrus, or Cucumber Mint. If you're dining in, seating is limited (maybe 5 tables inside?), so I usually eat at home. Prices may be a bit steep (~$15 per bowl), but I think it's worth it, especially if you take advantage of the unlimited toppings. Also, if you're ordering a bowl don't forget to ask for your free side of pita bread! why did I waited so long for us to try CAVA?!!!!! my sister that lives in Virginia has been bugging me to go here because she swears it is the best thing and she is not wrong, she is 100% right. we went to the one in Brooklyn, Riverside around 6pm plenty of parking. Thankfully no one was behind us since I have no idea how does that work, its like Chipotle, you tell them your base and the your protein and whatever toppings you want. I got the bowl with rice and chicken as my protein, the lamb looked amazing but I was scared to try it but the gentleman was nice enough to let me try it and it was sooo good! My husband ended up getting the lamb and that will definitely be my next protein. as for toppings they have a lot of options: feta cheese, corn, tomato, olives and many more! their strawberry citrus was soooo good too! and dont forget to order the baked pita!!
