    Pistachio martinis and hummus platter

Wow! The flavors. The presentation. Creative and Delicious. The restaurant is beautiful. We went late for Sudbury on Saturday night, 8:15. It's great that they are open later than most in the area. There were 3 of us and we did tapas: squash fritters, chicken wings, steak bites(came with fries), falafel and a hummus board. Plenty of food. Prices were reasonable for the experience except we did splurge on two cocktails-$18 each but they were AMAZING- pistachio martini! Looking forward to trying brunch.

Great to see a new restaurant in Sudbury especially a Tapas restaurant. Zayith has a vibrant atmosphere and was easy to get a reservation. Still fairly new so I would recommend booking on a Friday or Saturday. The drinks menu was good and worth a try. Mostly ate Tapas although the Mussels in Garlic and Chablis sauce were very good. The Tapas menu had some interesting dishes so we picked 4 different dishes to share. Although the combinations were intriguing they didnt quite live up to expectations. Considering the food is Spanish or Mediterranean I was disappointed by the lack of spices. The lack of spice and in some cases lack of spiciness left an overall "good but not great" feeling. Disappointed by our waiter, he started off very well but then went completely AWOL after the initial orders were submitted so no water top ups and would have been great to try the deserts but hard to do so when your waiter goes all Houdini on you. I understand it takes a while for a restaurant to get into its groove so I will give it a couple of months before I return. Overall, could be a great restaurant but need to tune a few areas if you want to maintain the new restaurant momentum.

The best Food ,great Place Amazing Service Parking is bit tight and lucky to enter without Reservation. Making a reservation for next will be a great idea, see you soon folks thanks for a Great Meal

My girlfriends and I went for brunch and we plan on coming back for more meals esp. dinner. The Zayith Hash was phenomenal and is in the photo- with the Shashuka and Beet salad. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu honestly and we enjoyed trying out new drinks. The black sesame latte was very yummy! Owner and servers were exceptional with service and were very accommodating.

My favorite is the bacon wrapped dates, but everything is good, the lamb chops, the duck, octopus, chorizo. I wouldn't drink it anymore, but it's the first time I've seen Kalimoxo on any menu in the US... brings me back to when I was in high school in the Basque Country of Spain. I had a birthday party in the back room and that was a highlight, everyone who attended said we should all take turns hosting events there. The restaurant staff was very laid back about it in a good way, a few weeks in advance we just sort of asked if we could reserve it and then came up with a menu of things to bring out and drinks to have available and it worked out and was one of my best birthdays I can remember. We played our own music on a speaker we bright in, very chill and fun. Some nights they have live music and that has been fun as well. I'd recommend for a date night, girl's night, or a party like a birthday (adults only), office going away, small baby or bridal shower. Probably not the place for a business meeting. Great spot in Maynard, indoor or outdoor dining.

Despite this, we got sat at a pretty awkward table - very long and it made things difficult for sharing unfortunately. The menu had a good mix of dishes, all of which came out as soon as they were made. The paella came out last and took quite a long time - we were already pretty much full from our other dishes so just keep that in mind if you order it. Most of the dishes were lackluster - my favorite though was the eggplant, I enjoyed that the most. Everything else was small and not super flavorful. Paella was yummy, but pretty expensive for the portion. Overall, I probably wouldn't come back out of my own volition, but I didn't mind the food - I just don't think the price and quantity/quality of food matched.

Just so fascinating - their chefs can put out such tasty small plates so quickly, each packed with such fresh & exciting flavors, always cooked to perfection (never over or under cooked). The ambiance was cozy and inviting, though our table was in the middle of the aisle which felt a bit cramped. Unfortunately, the service itself was inconsistent. We had to ask for bread three times. When we ordered two brownies and one coffee, we were brought one brownie and two coffees. At the end of the meal, we asked for both my meal and my son's meal to be wrapped to go. My son's plate was accidentally thrown away because other plates were stacked on top of it. When I asked about it, the server explained what happened but did not offer to remake it, remove it from the bill, or apologize, which was disappointing. That said, it was a busy Friday during Restaurant Week, so I would consider coming back and hope the service is smoother next time. While writing this review, I actually received a text from the restaurant letting me know we left our son's plate behind, which was thoughtful and appreciated. If Yelp allowed half stars, I would give 3.5.

Food-wise, none of the dishes we got particularly wowed me (the sauces that came with each dish were better than the actual food) but I'd come back to try other things from the very extensive list. We got: 1. Patatas bravas: The best thing we got, though we should have eaten this when it was still hot and crispy. After sitting out for a while, it became a mushy mess with the sauce. 2. Spiced meatballs: Very small size for the meatball and not much spice (like less than a bite) but the sauce was excellent. 3. Jamon croquettes: Not bad but the filling was pretty gluey in texture. Definitely need to eat with the accompanying sauce. I ended up dunking it in the sauce that came with the meatballs. 4. Grilled peaches: Intrigued by this summer offering but I'd say skip. For $7, we got five very small slices of peach in an indistinguishable, vaguely sugary/burnt sauce. If you have a grill and a peach, you can definitely make a much better version of this for far cheaper. 5. Shrimp in garlic sauce: Fell flat. The shrimp were small and extremely overcooked. The only saving grace of this dish was the scallion/garlic oil that we used to dip the extra bread in. Food came out very fast and our waitress came by often to check on us and see if we needed. Lots of parking options nearby (including free 2-hour options one block over) so if you're debating which location of Barcelona to go to, the parking alone could weigh in favor of this one.

Nothing on the menu or from the server mentioned that, which was disappointing right away. When I told the server I didn't like it and wanted something else, he literally tilted his head and said, "ummm what do I tell the bartender?" That honestly rubbed me the wrong way -- just felt unprofessional and awkward. Jenny got a tequila cosmo, which was fine, nothing special. Food-wise, everything was just average. The bao buns were overcooked and the bun fell apart, though the flavor was decent. The pineapple fried rice was probably the best thing we had, but even that was just okay. We also had dumplings -- Jenny liked them, but I thought they were just alright. Dessert was the biggest miss. The blueberry cobbler was not good at all -- maybe a 3/10 at best. One thing that really didn't sit right was when we asked to split the tasting menu and were told no. That doesn't make much sense -- if people want to share, especially for a tasting menu, it should be allowed.
