Eggplant Tapas was ok didn't like the texture but very pretty

Food was so tasty and colorful presentation was beautiful on all the dishes. Atmosphere was really nice until we were seated in a fairly good size room with two other tables each with four people. Could not hear my dinner partner when we tried to talk because of the loud chatter. We thought to ask for another table by we thought that maybe they would quiet down a bit and then we were already being served to eat. So the service was great and food also but beware where you are seated. I would go back but will ask to be reseated and hopefully they can get some noise control in their rooms.

Wow! The flavors. The presentation. Creative and Delicious. The restaurant is beautiful. We went late for Sudbury on Saturday night, 8:15. It's great that they are open later than most in the area. There were 3 of us and we did tapas: squash fritters, chicken wings, steak bites(came with fries), falafel and a hummus board. Plenty of food. Prices were reasonable for the experience except we did splurge on two cocktails-$18 each but they were AMAZING- pistachio martini! Looking forward to trying brunch.

Great to see a new restaurant in Sudbury especially a Tapas restaurant. Zayith has a vibrant atmosphere and was easy to get a reservation. Still fairly new so I would recommend booking on a Friday or Saturday. The drinks menu was good and worth a try. Mostly ate Tapas although the Mussels in Garlic and Chablis sauce were very good. The Tapas menu had some interesting dishes so we picked 4 different dishes to share. Although the combinations were intriguing they didnt quite live up to expectations. Considering the food is Spanish or Mediterranean I was disappointed by the lack of spices. The lack of spice and in some cases lack of spiciness left an overall "good but not great" feeling. Disappointed by our waiter, he started off very well but then went completely AWOL after the initial orders were submitted so no water top ups and would have been great to try the deserts but hard to do so when your waiter goes all Houdini on you. I understand it takes a while for a restaurant to get into its groove so I will give it a couple of months before I return. Overall, could be a great restaurant but need to tune a few areas if you want to maintain the new restaurant momentum.

The best Food ,great Place Amazing Service Parking is bit tight and lucky to enter without Reservation. Making a reservation for next will be a great idea, see you soon folks thanks for a Great Meal

My girlfriends and I went for brunch and we plan on coming back for more meals esp. dinner. The Zayith Hash was phenomenal and is in the photo- with the Shashuka and Beet salad. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu honestly and we enjoyed trying out new drinks. The black sesame latte was very yummy! Owner and servers were exceptional with service and were very accommodating.

The ambiance was cozy and inviting, though our table was in the middle of the aisle which felt a bit cramped. Unfortunately, the service itself was inconsistent. We had to ask for bread three times. When we ordered two brownies and one coffee, we were brought one brownie and two coffees. At the end of the meal, we asked for both my meal and my son's meal to be wrapped to go. My son's plate was accidentally thrown away because other plates were stacked on top of it. When I asked about it, the server explained what happened but did not offer to remake it, remove it from the bill, or apologize, which was disappointing. That said, it was a busy Friday during Restaurant Week, so I would consider coming back and hope the service is smoother next time. While writing this review, I actually received a text from the restaurant letting me know we left our son's plate behind, which was thoughtful and appreciated. If Yelp allowed half stars, I would give 3.5.

Thank goodness for takeout boxes. My favorite plate was the QUESO DE CABRA CON MIEL (goat cheese with honey) served with crusty bread. We paired it with the CHORIZO LEÓN HERRADURA. It was just perfect together. Dessert was worth mentioning. The warm double chocolate brownie with ice cream is a definite yes please. So rich, so gooey, so worth the calories. Bocado is a tapas restaurant, but I found these small plates quite generous. Roll me home I'm done!

They really are fried to perfection. Frituras de Maiz: (10/10): Wow, these fritters are also amazing. They come with such a rich sauce. The fritters are exploding with flavor. Cazuela de Coliflor Asada (9/10): Insanely good dish. The cauliflower has perfect texture, complemented by the pistachios. The sauce is SO good. The cauliflower soaks it up so well. Chicharrones (9/10): Melt in your mouth pork belly. The pork skin crust was perfect. The sauces really make most of the dishes here. This dish is no different - I loved the sauce. Ropa Vieja (9/10): Perfectly slow cooked meat. One thing that really stood out to me was actually the white rice. The rice was VERY high quality, and I appreciated it so much. It's rare to come by rice this good. It had the perfect texture, chew, and fragrance. Ropa Vieja de Hongos (9/10): Pretty much the same as Ropa Vieja above. The mushrooms are delicious, and the dish is just as good whether your order the mushroom or steak version. Empanada del Carne (9/10): Oh man, the crusts are so good. This is pretty on par with the ones I just had in Puerto Rico. Chuletas de Cordero (8/10): The seasoning is heavenly. I was licking the lamb chops clean. Croquetas (8/10): Very solid croquetas. Camarones a la Plancha (6.5/10): Solid dish, but I enjoyed some other ones even more. Ensalada de Aguacate y Pina (6/10): The salad was a bit too sour, and that sourness overpowered the dish. It was a great blend of ingredients, though. *** and one dessert *** Churros con Chocolate (8.5/10): Big crunchy fluffy churros!! The chocolate sauce is amazing (not really spicy at all). Nothing on the menu or from the server mentioned that, which was disappointing right away. When I told the server I didn't like it and wanted something else, he literally tilted his head and said, "ummm what do I tell the bartender?" That honestly rubbed me the wrong way -- just felt unprofessional and awkward. Jenny got a tequila cosmo, which was fine, nothing special. Food-wise, everything was just average. The bao buns were overcooked and the bun fell apart, though the flavor was decent. The pineapple fried rice was probably the best thing we had, but even that was just okay. We also had dumplings -- Jenny liked them, but I thought they were just alright. Dessert was the biggest miss. The blueberry cobbler was not good at all -- maybe a 3/10 at best. One thing that really didn't sit right was when we asked to split the tasting menu and were told no. That doesn't make much sense -- if people want to share, especially for a tasting menu, it should be allowed.
