Food was bland. Chicken marsala had no marsala, it tasted like boiled chicken with mushrooms floating in butter sauce. The place looks nice and service is good but the food is lacking flavor.

Great! Again! Mom likes Italian. Who would've thought!? Made reservations in advance for Mother's Day. Seated right away. Service with Juliana was impeccable, I will say. She was great! Food with delectable delight, amongst a backdrop of elegance, we eat by candlelight. All right!

I want to begin by saying I run a successful business that is well known in the Boston area. I was…read morenominated as the Boston Celtics' "Small Business of the Game" and my whole career has been based on "customer service." I also worked at the front desk of a hotel for two years while I attended Wellesley College and after that I worked as a paralegal at prominent firms in Boston before starting my business. I *deeply* understand customer service, professionalism, and the weight of negative Yelp reviews which is why I have quite literally never written one. I originally wrote a negative review (and it was the first negative review I have ever written on Yelp) because I had a negative experience with one of the front desk agents at first. But one of the things I also understand working in customer service is that if you give a business the feedback they need to make changes and to "make things right" and they are receptive to that feedback, a business should not be judged because of a one off experience. I was able to communicate my issues and I am updating my review to reflect that the hotel handled my feedback professionally and for that I am very grateful.

You still get the quality, comfort, and reliability of Hilton while also getting a hotel that actually has personality and charm that reflects the area instead of feeling like a generic chain. The decor is incredible. So much cool nostalgic artwork, bright pops of color, music references, and fun themed touches like old-school phone booths and a vintage motorcycle display. It feels lively, stylish, and upbeat while still being relaxed and comfortable. The music, lighting, and overall atmosphere instantly put you in a good mood. I got one of the newly renovated rooms which was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The bed was great and I slept really well. The gym is simple but completely serviceable. Staff was friendly and welcoming. The location is also excellent. It is very easy to access from the freeway and it is close to great food, shopping, and anything else you might need. Overall this is a hotel that is actually enjoyable to stay in. Clean, comfortable, full of character, and just fun to be in. I loved it and would absolutely stay here again.

First of all, everything is way overpriced for what you could get at a fast food restaurant (not suprising from a movie theater I know). But also, they are constantly understaffed and the servers end up with multiple theaters to wait on at the same time. The poor service is understandable with the stress of having to take orders, run drinks, run food, and making sure checks are dropped off and paid for before guests get mad and leave. What is REALLY aggravating is the fact that the management is severely lacking in their commitment to properly perform their job obligations! They are rude to customers and treat their employees extremely poorly. All of the servers seem to be stressed out and I have never seen a manager help to run food or drop off checks to help them out. As someone with lots of experience in restaurant service and management, I can honestly say that this place is being very poorly run. If a server is overwhelmed with guests and there is no other servers to help, it is the job of a Manager to step in and ease the load by taking some tables themselves until things calm down. Obviously, a large company like AMC is not concerned with customer satisfaction regarding their new Dine In. They make enough money on the movies to care about that.

We walked into a space that is comfortable and notably quiet for its size, which made it a good option for larger parties or anyone who wants to actually have a conversation without competing with the room. Live music downstairs adds a different dimension to evening visits, and the kitchen stays open until midnight, which makes it a reliable option when other spots have already closed. The nachos are the standout order and the dish most worth building your visit around. They came out loaded and well constructed without collapsing into the pile of soggy chips that ruins most nacho plates. The smash tacos are worth ordering across a few different fillings to get a sense of what the kitchen does well, and the birria tacos in particular have built a following for the depth of flavor in the braised meat and the accompanying consommé for dipping. We tried a few of the other taco options, and they landed on the milder side in terms of seasoning, which was a bit of a letdown compared to the birria. The portion size relative to price also felt a little small on some plates. The ceviche was decent but benefited from some additional flavor, so adjusting expectations on that particular order makes sense. Service was attentive and the pacing of the meal matched the relaxed atmosphere of the room. The staff knew the menu well and offered thoughtful recommendations without being pushy. For a Latin restaurant in Boston that delivers on atmosphere, late hours, and a few standout dishes like the nachos and birria tacos, Lockheart is a solid option worth keeping in mind for a group dinner or a late night meal.

This was our first time going since it had opened as the Fireside Tavern. It is fair to say we were underwhelmed. My wife ordered a Dirty Martini and it had a lot of vermouth in it which is not the correct way to prepare it. For an appetizer we got the Calamari which was very good. Crispy and tender with delicious hot peppers added in as well. For the main courses we got the Chicken Piccata severed over Gnocchi which was good but nothing special. Gnocchi were a bit denser than we like. Our other main was the Seafood Paella. On the plus side it had a lot of seafood in it, mussels, Shrimp, Scallops and a white fish. All of the sish was cooked well and was tender and juicy. However it did not appear to be cooked in a Paella pan so you didn't get some of those bites of crispy rice and the seasoning was off it had no saffron or tomatoes like I am used to. It was more like a plain rice that they added peas, carrots, and red pepper. Just didn't taste like any form of the paella that I have eaten previously. Jenna our server was awesome and attentive but not overbearing. She was fantastic and made for an enjoyable evening.

Rolling through the parking lot, there were plenty of spots but they were chock full on a Friday night. Upon entering though, there were plenty of seats. We were definitely swayed by the $6 margarita specials, and the bright pink drinks arrived quickly, alongside the chips and salsa. On the other hand, we had to wait a very long time for the food, even the appetizer. We ordered the street corn (off the cob), and while it was tasty, it was much, much smaller than I would've expected for the price. I would have liked to think that it'd be the equivalent of 2 to 3 cobs of corn, and I can't imagine that was the case. The rest of the meal came a bit after that. I ordered the grilled baja tacos on the recommendation of the waitress, and our party also got the Mexican flag enchiladas. I was glad to see a decent-sized chunk of fish in each taco, since I had seen reviews of the fish tacos (possibly a separate option) with only a half-piece per taco. I enjoyed the other toppings as well, but each taco was too dry - I want the sauce to be dripping off the taco, or at least to be soaked up by all the ingredients and the tortilla. These just didn't get there for me. It helped slightly to top a taco off with a bit of guacamole (borrowed from another entree). I taste-tested some bites from the Mexican flag dish, but the comments came back pretty negative (especially so when considering they were from someone generally not picky with their food!). The enchiladas were marketed as cheese stuffed with steak and chicken, but there wasn't any meat to be found (or tasted). One of our biggest complaints was probably the service. A member of our party was out of water and had to go out of their way to ask for a refill, and the server literally brought a new glass of water for that person only - ignoring all of the other empty water glasses on the table. Similarly, after we asked for a to-go box for leftovers, she brought a container but waited until we specifically asked for the bill. Given the size of the restaurant, it took a lot longer than we would have liked. It was hard to view much of anything at Margaritas as "authentic" - I would compare it to an Olive Garden for Mexican cuisine. But they go far beyond the other chain in terms of trying to "rep" the culture through the extensive décor on the walls, the music, etc. Yet there weren't many (if any) Mexican or Latino staff working in service-facing roles.

Server was nice but you could tell they were understaffed that night and sat too many tables at once. Once we sat done down and given water it took a while before our server appeared. The pacing was off and there were long periods between our order and apps, entree, and dessert. - bread service: kind of expensive ($13) for 5 pieces of bread and a dollop of each dipping sauce. Try just bread and butter for $6 - cornbread: delicious but small portion for $14. Also not a fan of the cutting board presentation - kids Mac and cheese: very cheesy ($12) - tiger shrimp risotto: ($34) good flavor but risotto was underdone - fried chicken: ($30) so crispy and cooked perfectly but had an odd spice in there like cinnamon? The star was the fried green tomatoes and the buttermilk ranch! Perfectly fried and crunchy while the tomatoes stayed firm and a very tasty ranch dressing! - dessert: warm cow sugar cookies were nice and warm sitting in butterscotch pudding, very cute! - the toffee in the butterscotch pudding ($11) was super crunchy, wish there were more cubes mixed in - warm chocolate brownie ($15) was missing the creme anglaise?
