I left 15% and honestly felt that was generous for what I received. At these prices, the food needs to be executed properly and the service needs to match. The chowder alone isn't enough to carry a $60+ meal. Would I come back? Maybe for a cup of chowder at the bar. Not for the full experience.

Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. So glad we found Sweet Violette for our wedding cakes! The BEST tasting red velvet and lemon cakes that I have ever had! Violette worked with us to make 3 different flavored mini cakes and a large red velvet and all at a VERY reasonable price! Other bakeries wanted to charge us triple just for the large cake itself. Violette is so nice and easy to work with too. We loved our wedding cakes so much that we also got a birthday cake for my mother-in-law.
