Working in the area today and looking for a quick lunch. Found this place in a local plaza and found it to be a great surprise. Sparkling clean and with Instagram worthy interior, this is a great place to relax though the music selection might benefit from a less profanity laced playlist. This could explain the lack of a crowd at noon. The food is fresh. Comes out quickly and is of large quantity and quality ingredients. I found it to be filling as were the strawberry lemon boba drink I ordered. Definitely will return.

Well I stumble upon this place while I was out and about in Pasadena. Thank you to the other on yelp for giving this place a 4.5 stars bc that's what made me want to try it out. We ordered passionfruit green tea and Vietnamese coffee. That Vietnamese coffee is just as strong as any other Vietnamese coffee out there. I really enjoyed it. And it kept me up til 3:30am! The banh mi had good flavor. We ordered the bbq pork banh mi. They do not toast their bread here which I prefer. But my hubby likes it how they prepared it. I had the bbq pork rice place. The flavors were there. It was just a bit on the light/ bland side. The fish sauce is also watered down. I think they need to turn up the seasoning from a 3 to a 6. Otherwise it's not bad for Pasadena but I don't think it's 4.5 stars either due to lack of flavor in the meat and fish sauce.

Sweet Lemon is a wonderful and memorable exception. Extremely friendly service and a very nice, chocolate tasting Viet coffee with hyper sweet Boba. Their drinks are only part of the attraction. They also have some of the best decor in Houston, lots of good Viet food options, and a big awesome menu with lots of drinks I want to try, and they offer something special and unique, especially for this part of town. Located in a busy and really cool part of Pasadena, full of life and energy. I will not forget my excellent experence here, and can't wait to come back with my much better looking partner. And I'd rather have a Sweet Lemon than a Jack Lemmon. Wouldn't you? It doesn't really Matthau anymore though. Barbi is my favourite thing to EAT She's perfect from her prissy mani to her famous FEET But when I'm in Pasadena and feeling BEAT The only Lemon I will get is a Lemon that's SWEET The taste is f***ing awesome and service is NEAT They're the nicest yogurt sellers you're likely to MEET They're fast and friendly and their toilet is DISCRETE So get your Pasadena Boba from the Lemon that's SWEET! Honestly, I did not expect much from a random boba place here in pasadena. At first, their boba drinks were really good. They make it real fast and you can adjust your sweetness level and ice level. I had to grab a quick dinner before driving out of town so i ordered a small combination pho. I did not expect it to be so good. At first I noticed there wasn't enough broth but later I realized it was because they put so much meat and noodles into the bowl! It tasted really good the only downfall...they had hella off branded sriracha. But i know that's not their fault...so i just put in the chili sauce. It very clean inside despite how things look from the outside. I'm glad I found this place I'll definitely be coming back a lot

The inside is still the same. It's nice and kinda homey. The service was great. They were pretty quick with bringing the food. What was not so great is the quality of the food. I've eaten here before. I've ordered take out and drinks and told all my coworkers how great the food is. Today I was very disappointed. I ordered a banh mi ga and the bread was so hard that I could knock on it and it sounded like wood. When I brought this to the attention of the employees they said the place is under new management and they are getting their bread from a different supplier. I definitely think this was not a good decision by the new owner. The fried rice was also different. The Pho was still good.

Sweet Lemon is hands down the best tapioca drink spot in Pasadena! It can even compete with other tap shops in Houston. Why did I not come here sooner? You can tell they use good quality tea, and I like that you can customize your drink however you like it. I always opt for less ice and 50% sweet on any drink that I order. Passion fruit green tea is usually my go to order, but they have a lot of options here so don't be afraid to try something new. We did appreciate how clean the store was. With covid and all, we felt comfortable here. Everyone was wearing masks, and the store is very spacious for proper social distancing. Just be sure to use their different walls and signs for photo ops and social media needs. We will definitely be back again soon whenever we're in the area. Next time, I'll even eat lunch here because their pho and banh mi look great!

Y'all this place is sooo good!!! I go here 24/7 their combination pho is soo delicious. For the small, they gave a pretty great portion of meat! I just recently started trying more stuff from the menu and the chicken fried rice is so good too! This is definitely my #1 spot

Came here earlier this week for the first time, trusting the reviews left behind. Got a grilled pork spring roll and a drink. The drink was DELICIOUS! I got the Princess Peach with rainbow Jelly, recommend it if you want something refreshing. Excited to try more drinks! The spring roll was a 1/10, & the peanut sauce wasn't good at all. Haven't tried other food in the menu yet. Because of Covid, they aren't allowing customers dine in, which i understand and respect, the place looks really clean and spacious. I'd say the service was okay, i went in the evening.

The Thai Tea is really really good. The perfect balance of tea to milk. Got the grilled chicken Bahn Mi with fish sauce on the side instead of peanut sauce. Went for the soft opening today and everything was delicious! I had the coconut milk tea and a bbq pork sandwich. I can say it was quality, fresh ingredients! My daughter had a order of spring rolls and the mermaid tea with rainbow jelly it was so good (thanks to the cashier for the recommendation) over all I am highly satisfied with the food/service. I am looking forward to the opening with the full menu! Also the interior decor is so nice and clean I love it beautiful color scheme! read more

Super cute place not too far from the industrial area I work in! Ordered a chicken banh mi, spring rolls and a mango iced tea tapioca. It was all so good! When I asked about their milk teas they only used whole milk which was a bummer. It would be nice to have almond milk as an option for those of us that can't have milk. Other than that it was a great place with friendly employees, will definitely return! read more

Yelp suggested this restaurant/cafe for me and I must say Yelp knows me pretty well. I moved from Chicago to Pasadena about 2 months ago and while Chicago is overflowing with these type of places, Pasadena/Houston they are few and far between. My husband and I decided to check it out after our workout and got in 30 minutes before it closed. They were super sweet about taking our order and helping us decide on what to get especially so close to closing. We just split a taro (my go to) smoothie and a BBQ chicken bahn mi sandwich and it hit the post workout spot. I have had bahn mi sandwiches when I was at Vietnam so I was pleasantly surprised that these met my expectations. The store is super cute, Instagram friendly, and it's in Pasadena. Sweet Lemon was great. It's a hot new concept that just opening up on the Southeast side of town, there is nothing really like it over here. Really Refreshing drinks I got that Lychee green tea and a bahn mi. 10/10 would recommend everyone trying it. Great atmosphere as well! read more

Cute new shop located right here on Spence next to cici pizza. Clean with nice employees. They serve Vietnamese sandwiches, tapioca tea, and also elote, Cheetos with cheese, popcorn chicken and edamame. They have e board games and WiFi. Will definitely be making this a new place to stop by for lunch. I got the grilled pork sandwich and taro milk tea and was excellent. read more

My family and I came here for their soft opening. We ordered Thai green tea, milk tea, honey green tea, taro coconut milk tea, and a chicken banh mi. Comparing my experiences with every other restaurant, I have never been pleased with their Vietnamese Coffee, but by the word of God , Sweet Lemon has the most phenomenal Vietnamese Coffee. I went there for the first time and had to wait for my smoothies almost 30 min and plus they didn't have Tapioca and honey boba. The lady behind the counter didn't even look like she wanted to work there. They also didn't even call out my number, I had to go there and get it myself. A person by the name "Tommy" checked me out at the cash register and he was very friendly and was able to describe the menu to me. We got the Vietnamese sandwich and it was very good. It wasn't as dry like other places would make it. The drinks were also well made and I enjoy this place overall. Would come again to try the other stuff on the menu. read more

Pho-nominal. Yep. I said it and I'm not ashamed. Whether you call it "Phah" or "Foe" or "Vietnamese soup"... it's the bomb. The vegan Pho has a ton of fresh veggies and is served piping hot. The bubble tea and the Vietnamese coffee are also top quality. Highly recommend this place and I have ate at bunch of Pho restaurants in town. read more

Great milk tea, the flavour is all there! Only thing is that it's on the pricier side, the prices aren't correlated with the area it's in. I pay less in Bellaire and Austin than I do here. But overall, it's a really cute place if you want to hang out with friends. read more

I love sweet lemon. I like that their smoothies and shakes are from actual fruit not the flavored powder crap some people use. Price is about the same as Zero Degrees. I've had their Vietnamese coffee, Thai tea, banana smoothie with boba. I haven't had their food though. But drinks are great! They also have board games so you can take the family and get a little dessert and play some games while waiting. read more

The coconut milk tea was pretty good but the strawberry popping boba did not go with it. The popcorn chicken had a good outside bite but once you got into it, the chicken felt to squishy to the bite. Overall it was a decent place. read more
