Sweet lemon was the perfect treat at our wedding. Leading up to our wedding, they were very easy to work with with our changing schedule due to covid. They were in constant communication with updates throughout the process. Our tasting session prior to the wedding was SO much fun. They were very generous with all the multiple flavors we could try. Additionally they offered to place our personal stickers on their cup for our wedding day as well. So happy we had them on our special day to celebrate us. We visited Sweet Lemon on several occasions in our search for our favorite Brown Sugar Milk tea closer to home. They have a decent alternative called Tiger Sugar which is not terrible. We recently ordered food from here, and were thankful that the portions are quite large. I was shocked to see that they sell elote which is definitely a must. We dined on: - Vegan Pho - Meatless Pho (for a kid) - French fries - Elote with cheetos and without cheetos In the future, I might just stick to the elote and the boba. If you don't have a large order you can be in and out quick, but we had to wait for over 20 minutes to get our food. The store front is carefully decorated and I could see how it can be a popular hang out in a post covid world. We will definitely be back, unless we find our preferred flavor profile somewhere else closer to home. read more

This place has been on my list for a while now and finally got around to checking it out. The place is super cute and "instagrammable" with enough seating available and games for guest to play. I went on a Monday around 2pm so it wasn't too busy but service was slow considering there were only two people in front of me. My order came out quickly but just ordering took a while. The guy in the front seemed to be new so that's probably why. I ordered the mermaid lemonade and spring rolls. The mermaid lemonade was okay, tastes good but has a grape taste which I'm not the biggest fan of and the spring rolls were GREAT! The store itself looks really nice, you can hang out and play board games and also take pictures. The food is alright. i bought their brisket Pho, which was alright. But i dont understand why i could only order the larrge size for a to go order (which doesnt make sense at all). They have a wide selection of bobas, and they are good tasting. I'm finally back from the last time few times. Last few visits: they didn't have their dining area open and wouldn't open the bathrooms for me and told me to go to Cici's or somewhere else (and I drive 45 mins all around for work and always need a pee stop-where I will buy food, drinks, etc..)...so I stopped coming back and visited other restaurants and cafes around the area. This is the only boba place in the area so if food and service stays great then I'll be coming back on a weekly basis. Or just rotate them into my usual stops when in the area: Ahi Poke, Freebirds, Panarea & Sycamore Cafe stops... the vermicelli is decent here (they don't put in bean sprouts! I don't like sprouts.) the noodles are on the thicker side than other vermicellis I normally have. They're a good option food & boba wise if you want this type of food in the area. It's not as flavorful as other bowls I have at other places, but I'd still come back and it's good enough to eat. Better than what I could make...oh wait...I don't cook Vietnamese food. I just know how to eat them. Only thing I know how to make is spaghetti, steak, and maybe caldo del res...and that's on special occasions only. read more

Tried this place last weekend and it was pretty good. First time here so some things on the menu sounded a bit odd like the salted cheese drinks. Apparently it is some sort of cream cheese, so just in case you were worried about that like I was. I ended up getting a boba milk tea with cream, can't tell you what type of cream. It was sweet but it also tasted pretty good. The boba was okay, I hold my boba expectations very high. The oreo bubble waffle was also very delicious and oh so light. It was just a good snack to have with my boba. The line never went down on a Saturday night, I can see why. Parking is horrible here though so either get lucky to park in the tiny parking lot or drive around a find street parking. read more

Great spot in Pasadena! Looks sketchy from the outside but it's a different vibe when you go inside. It's spacious with lots of seating. They have board games available as well. Plenty of items to order from the menu which is nice. My brother and sister-in-law ordered their mango smoothie and milk tea (they liked it). They also ordered spicy popcorn chicken which was SO good! Right amount of spices flavored with each chicken and the dipping sauce was the perfect pair.
