The food has been consistently good. I've tried the pho, egg noodles, and several of the rice dishes, and everything is made fresh to order and comes out tasting great. We were looking for something light to beat this Houston heat! I feel that Vietnamese food hits that spot when you're tired of salads and sandwiches. Our order was done through DoorDash and was delivered to our office. It got delivered within 30 minutes of placing the order. The portions were pretty filling and average priced. We ordered the spring rolls , vermicelli dishes, and stir fried egg noodles. The ingredients were fresh and the noodles prepared perfectly. It's not your typical pho place because they have a variety of other items on their menu. Pho Vi-Vi has multiple locations. I've also been to the South Belt location on Beamer. This place use to be the spot, but then they started serving cold broth with frozen meats on their to go orders. Gonna have to go somewhere else now! Usually as soon as I get my to go order, I always touch the broth cup to insure its temperature, and it's been lukewarm-cold to the touch about the last 5 times. So by the time I make my bowl at home, everything is cold and unenjoyable. I understand it won't be steaming hot by the time I get home, but I eat here a lot. For my entree, I got the grilled chicken vermicelli....over cooked noodles (super soggy) and chicken didn't taste grilled at all; it was too soft and barely any flavor.
