Banh Mi BBQ beef was ok. Needs more flavor but it's ok. The rice, seafood veggie, and rice noodle dish was absolutely disgusting. The imitation crab tasted like it's already expired. Not going back. I had to dump it all out after 2 bites (and that was plenty). Paid $25 for the meal. Not worth it. read more

My husband and I just visited pho 21 to have lunch. The place is clean, and you can tell right away is family owned, so you know is gonna be good and authentic! We started with Bbq Pork spring rolls, they sent 3 big fat rolls, amazing! With peanut sauce and a sweet chili one, the flavor of the pork is fire, with fresh crunchy vegetables, definitely is a must try. Then we had the number 12 pho, with round beef, super tender meat, great noodles and amazing broth, this is by far one the most delicious broths I've tasted in a while. We also had the spicy beef broth pho, this was good too, the broth is delicious and the meat is tender too, also is not spicy at all, my favorite was the number 12. We'll be back soon! This location has fresh ingredients and the kindest staff. The restaurant is inviting, clean and spacious. The staff is attentive and very helpful with suggestions if you're new. I am a big fan of spring rolls, of which theirs are very tasty (and stuffed)! My go-to dish here is the Grilled Chicken and Rice - generous portion and a healthy option for lunch or dinner. I've ordered thru Grubhub several times from here and always had great meals...until tonight. My pork vermicelli bowl had several pieces of pork that were burned, alongside pieces that were very undercooked-too undercooked for pork to eat. This was the worst bun I've ever had. I'm really disappointed with Pho 21. Every other pho place I've been to will happily sell their broth separately, but Pho 21 refuses. Sometimes you just want to grab a container of broth to go whether you're sick, craving something light, or already have noodles at home and it's a super basic request. Instead, they act like it's some impossible task. The lack of flexibility and customer service here is frustrating, especially when so many other pho spots are willing to accommodate simple requests. With so many better options around that actually listen to their customers, I won't be coming back. It doesnt matter who we vote for, these days before the election has most people quite anxious and when you want to go out for a relaxing meal and quiet conversation Fox news is the last thing you want to listen to. When I walked in, it smelled like a dirty toilet or urinal cake. There were other customers, and the reviews weren't bad, so I thought I would give it a try. I should have left. I got the grilled chicken vermicelli with egg rolls special. The egg rolls were nasty, and tasted off. The vermicelli was clumpy and overcooked, the grilled chicken was ice cold, mostly fat and bone. I actually hurt my tooth on a bone. I spit out the meat and bone bit, paid my check and left. Don't bother trying this place unless you want to waste your money on terrible food, while sitting in a place that smells like a toilet. read more

My friend and I came here for lunch and we were the only ones there. Our server who is most likely the owner was okay nice, he seemed to not be in a good mood, but hey everybody goes through stuff. We decided to order some spring rolls & for our mains we got the bun Bo hue & mi bo kho. The spring rolls were solid but the peanut sauce was a little too thick for my liking. The mi bo kho was pretty good. The broth was salty and rich with good Unami flavor, this felt like a home cook meal. The bun Bo hue was just okay. I felt like the owner went to the back and just put something together to his liking because I wasn't digging his pallet. The broth was boring and lacked in any lemongrass flavor. There were some questionable cuts of meat that was put into the soup. Like there was several slices of pork that doesn't go in BBH but more so on a banh mi sandwich. Definitely wasn't my favorite. I will say that he hooked it up on the pork blood so I appreciate that. Overall, it was an alright experience. The place is not really clean and needs to be remodeled. Will I come back? So far I have visited twice and have been severely underwhelmed each time. The first time we had the vermicelli and it was decent, nice portion, but the egg roll tasted off... not quite rotten but about to spoil kinda taste... So that ruined my experience. Also, for it not being a super busy restaurant, don't expect to get refills on water or actual customer service, but it's a pho restaurant, so I'm used to that. Pretty sad though. On the second trip, I tried the bun ba hue, and man, was it disappointing. And once again, some of the meat tasted a lil off. Again sat there with no water for half my visit just to see if anyone cared. Luckily, I had the watered-down soup to drink. I'll try anything twice, but never again will I go back. Well, my wife and I both got sick from this place. It's been a rough 24 hours. She is Vietnamese and I studied in Vietnam, so we are familiar with the food. This place was not good at all. The guy who is likely the owner could be heard yelling (not talking...he did not have an indoor voice) an entire conversation for at least 20 minutes. My wife translated and he was just talking trash about the other customers. He was taking a lot of shots, so I sort of understand the extremely loud talking. They do not serve alcohol, but he was drinking with his friends. Overall, I would suggest going somewhere else for Vietnamese food.
