I ordered the Nobi dog, Nobi egg sandwich, and the bittersweet sundae. I was initially hesitant to order the Nobi dog, but my doubts were immediately quelled with the first bite. The Nobi dog was a standout item with the perfect balance of flavors and textures. The savory Kosher beef frank is complimented by the sweet and salty chargrilled pork, pickled carrots and daikon, and spicy sriracha mayo and jalapenos. The crunchy pickled vegetables and creamy mayo stand out against the tender pork and beef frank. I would definitely reorder the Nobi dog at a future visit. Unfortunately, the Nobi egg sandwich was only mediocre and left and impression no more than the simply the sum of its parts. The chargrilled pork was flavorful and egg had a pleasant fluffy texture, but the sandwich as a whole tasted rather boring and uninteresting, especially compared to the Nobi dog. The bittersweet sundae was a stout brownie with vanilla gelato, covered in whipped cream and was the lowest point of this meal, and I would recommend against ordering it. In my opinion, there was entirely too much whipped cream, which was foamy and runny and had a metallic off-note, perhaps from the can it likely came from. After digging through the mountain of whipped cream, I was further disappointed by the texture of the brownie, which had an unpleasant eggy taste and texture. The vanilla gelato was only okay, and did little to salvage this disappointing dessert. Despite its shortcomings, Nobi's service was excellent and attentive. Even on a crowded Tuesday dinner, our waiter frequently checked in on our party. The restaurant is fairly spacious and can accommodate large (8+ people) parties, however it may be a challenge if you plan to visit on a Tuesday night. Overall I would return to Nobi's, specifically for the Nobi dog or the amazing $10 pork chop deal and to explore their wide selection of beers. Aside from that, I would be willing to try other items, but I definitely would not reorder the Nobi egg sandwich nor the bittersweet sundae.

Been here a few times with family and now a few times with a friend or small group, and our experiences here have been almost all great. Unlike the Pho Barr in Clear Lake, this one does a much better job at managing service and the waitress I had on my most recent visit was very kind to both me and my friend. Food wise, I got the Mi Kho and Ultimate Fries. For a relatively low price, the Ultimate Fries give you A LOT of food, and I recommend getting it with the beef or pork, since they pair best with the egg yolk and other sauces on the fries. My Mi Kho was also really good. The broth was nice and rich and the Noodles themself were light and easy to eat with the sweet soy sauce. The atmosphere, particularly in daytime when light shines in through the restaurant front makes for a really comforting and open experience. Overall, Pho Barr deals with handling Vietnamese cuisine much better than other restaurants in the area and is definitely worth a try!
