I decided to try this little place close to my home. I was pleasantly surprised! I had shrimp spring rolls, pan fried veggie dumplings, and vermicelli with chargrilled shrimp. I ordered take out so I'm not sure about the inside but I did have special requests to add bean sprouts and they accommodated me happily. First of all, those veggie pan fried dumplings were delicious. Like I even gasped a bit!! Then I tried the shrimp spring rolls and I might have moaned a little. The spring rolls tasted fresh and the noodles were cooked correctly. The vermicelli was also very good. The vegetables were fresh and crispy and the noodles were cooked well. They added bean sprouts to mine on request, which in my opinion, was a great texture addition. I will go back for sure! read more

This place was decent for where it was located. I ordered the Thai tea, wonton and bbq pork soup and a banh mi. Thai tea: 5/5 it was delicious and perfectly made. Wonton and BBQ pork Soup: 3/5, the wonton tasted like old meat but the broth was flavorful but lacked depth. Overall, it was decent. Banh mi: 3/5 it was good, bread was soft could be crunchier. Little to no meat. It had like 5 pieces of meat in it. Overall, I'd come back because it's a decent place for its location and can satisfy a need for soup. read more

I really wanted some pho and this place is close to my house. It was a cold Thursday night when me and the hubby rolled in. It was moderately busy but there was a late dinner rush after we arrived, somewhere around 7:15 pm. The dining area is pretty large with many tables and some booths (?) along the walls. A large flatscreen television was playing women's basketball. We were told to take any seat we wanted, so we sat at Table 6. I hadn't had food all day so I was starving. We were brought two laminated menus and given some time to look them over. We ordered the pork and shrimp spring rolls, as well as some crispy, pork-filled egg rolls. Hubby thought the spring rolls were a little loose and prone to falling apart, but I didn't have the same issue. I thought everything was great. The dipping sauces that came with the appetizers was also delicious. They served the peanut sauce warm. I nibbled some of the shredded carrot garnish and was pleased to learn it was pickled! We were given complimentary glasses of water, but we both opted for milk tea. I got taro, the hubby got coconut. My drink was tasty enough, but the powdered flavoring that was used kept collecting on the bottom of my plastic cup and I had to frequently stir it up. Not a deal breaker, just a note. I ordered a large bowl of the classic Pho Central soup with all the fixings: steak, meatballs, tripe, and tendon. I was very excited that they had this on the menu. Most pho places I've looked up don't seem to want to offer tripe or tendon, both of which are favorites of mine. The hubby got a large pho with just steak. We were brought a generous plate of basil, fresh sliced jalapeños, mung bean sprouts, and juicy lime wedges. I have to say, this was the best pho I've discovered since moving here at the beginning of the pandemic. It was flavorful and the meat portions were good. I was very happy that they gave me so much tendon! (Some places can be stingy with it.) I suddenly noticed that the restaurant had emptied out, and it was then I realized they'd closed. (I thought they were open until 9 pm, but it was actually 8.) However, no one came over to hurry us. They let us finish eating in peace. (We were almost done anyway.) Wow! My friend and I came to eat during our lunch break, and were nicely surprised. The ambiance was chill, with booths and tables to sit at. The waitress dropped off our menus and then quickly took our orders. The food arrived within ten minutes, and may I say it was DELICIOUS. We both had brisket pho with chicken spring rolls and regular shrimp spring rolls. We're very picky about the pho we eat and this one surpassed the standards. We'll be back!!! read more

A big group of my friends and I came here one night after a tennis tournament, and all the waiters handled it so well. The service was good, the waiters were attentive and made sure everything was good. However, some of the food, specifically the Chicken Fried Rice took a while to come out. I don't blame them though, we had around a 16 person party... I ordered the P9 which consists of a bowl of pho with flank, brisket, tendon, and tripe. A good friend of mine told me about this place so I decided to stop on in. Walked and had the pick of the litter on where to sit; so to speak. I was greeted before walking in the door. I sat down and ordered my shrimp Vietnamese spring rolls. I went and washed my hands and the rolls were on Meeting me back at my table; And they were very good. They were thinly wrapped which was great-I had the opportunity to really enjoy the taste of them with my fish sauce. 2-3 minutes later my main dish was joining the table. The quality has changed. It may be the same change that has taken place with management or ownership. Pho, large, s8ze, has such thin couple pieces of meat that it's become ridiculous. If I wanted a veggie bowl of pho that is mostly noodle I would've ordered that. When the bowl comes out lukewarm, on top of scarce meat, I realize why I need to stop coming here for lunch. The Vietnamese coffee has a different t taste but I liked it. The first owners were great, the 2nd were less and it was obvious and this new group is the worst. The pho is so good.! I can drink the broth all by itself. I have eat the P6 , P10 and the P13. The Cơm chiên is also good. I had the F2,F4, and both them together. The bánh mì so good. I had the B2. For Aperture's I have had the the A2, and the A5 the was ok but I didn't like them to much as much as I liked everything else so far. For my drinks I normally just get water but I have gotten the Fruit Flavor Iced Tea it is good I have had the mango, pineapple and my true favorite peach. If you in the area go try the out.I believe you be like me trying to go at least once a week Or maybe you will go more. To me the service is fast and it not like the rush you to eat fast and go. Pho Central is hands down the best Pho I've ever had!! Their Sate Pho is my all time favorite. Amazing flavors in the chili oil and seasonings they add. The lady at the register is rude when my boyfriend asked for extra lettuce for the egg rolls, she gave him a mean look. They only gave a small piece, she charged him extra for 2 more pieces. If you cannot afford to put atleast 2 pieces of lettuce for 4 egg rolls why are you in business. read more

The only place I go for Vietnamese food. They're located right next door to the Smokers Outlet and near Pita Pit and Smashburger. They are ultimately known for their Phò but I actually prefer the banh mi bo kho which is beef stew. It is phenomenal! I always get a side of bean sprouts and jalapenos to add to the beef stew and it is a PERFECT addition. The crunchiness of the sprouts with the hint of spiciness from the jalapenos really adds a nice touch. The Phò IS super tasty but the broth is a bit bland for my liking. It needs some seasoning for sure - even with the toppings. This goes for the chicken, beef, ribeye and vegan (I've had them all and the broth is the same). Try the spring rolls (shrimp or pork), the delicious shaken beef or chicken (the beef is better), their vermicelli dishes with a fried egg or just some delicious seafood soup. This is an update! We love love love this place. And now we love it even more. There is a new chef, so my favorites are even better. The stir fried tofu with bell peppers and onions is soooo good. Our old standby, grilled pork spring rolls are still amazing. We come here often, so we will be trying out everything. They have also started updating the look of the restaurant, with an nice paint job and wainscoting (I think that's what you call the half wall siding). I hear new tables and booths are coming. I went there to pick up my food after ordering via DoorDash. The young man who works there as a waiter with glasses was pretty rude not even making eye contact, not even answering when I asked him about my order. The order was sitting on the counter to be picked. This kid was so lazy to even pick up the packet ready to go from the counter to hand it to me. For that I had to wait. I enjoyed my shrimp spring rolls & shrimp vermicelli, but in future they really need to include cilantro in the vermicelli dishes automatically (they brought me some when I requested it). Our server was polite, quick & did a good job, though she seemed stressed when the place became busier about halfway through our experience. The remodel of this space is uneven in quality. The area behind the counter with the bright orange wall; beautiful brass, silver & copper art piece; clean, professional back counter with tea & coffee stations, & kitchen area I could glimpse through a swinging door all look fabulous! The dining area, on the other hand, needs fast improvement. Except for 2 flatscreen TVs, the walls are drab & bare cinderblocks painted a dark, muddy prison-gray. I earnestly hope the gray is just a base coat! Pho Central, I urge you from the bottom of my artist's heart, please paint over that dismal gray with a bright, joyful color (to equal the attractive orange behind the counter in zest & jolly appeal)! I've been presumptuous enough to suggest a couple of colors in the photos I've included.
